I live in a four-season climate too and it's very easy to accumulate lots of coats and outerwear! I find the Dressing Your Truth system helpful to winnow down my collection. My husband loves when I use your LOL (load of laundry) expression! Cheers!

I'm glad I'm not the only one with so many coats, Krys!

I know some folks may be put off by DYT but it is nice when everything goes together like coats and accessories and I can say no to something that I may be drawn to emotionally or visually knowing that I will save money, look better and simplify my life. I'm not a spokesperson for DYT but I have tried lots of other "systems" in my 50+ years and I like it the best!

I never thought about putting a puffer under another jacket! Brilliant! Also, the light grey did look like our t1 grey 🥰 I really need to do a clothing swap, it looks so fun! Love watching you as always.

Looking lovely today. Glad you had a nice vacation. I'm back to trying to do a little everyday. I have spurts of energy where I stick to all my routines then something happens and I find myself slipping. Thank you for the motivation. My boohokie needs it. :-)

Woo hoo! You're back! And you look amazing! The cut and color of your blouse not only 'suits you' but totally magnifies you! Combined with that new doo, you are just WOW! I'm so glad you had a great time in Japan. My husband lived there for 2 years (almost 30 years ago) and speaks Japanese, but doesn't want to go back or take me for a visit. I keep hearing how everyone loves it there. I am hoping to one day go see for myself. I look forward to hearing about your adventures!

My DD and I are starting to declutter our coats. DD did hers today; I will do mine soon. Great inspiration from you! She had one coat with a belt and belt loops that we decided would look better without the belt. I got out my trusty ripper and took off the loops. Voila!

Thanks for sharing your decluttering process. By watching this process, I got to appreciate my living in Florida with only one heavier coat needed for our winter season which eliminates my need to declutter these items. Lucky me!

The red coat looks great on you. For 100% T1, you could change the black buttons. But, of course, the black does look good and it doesn't detract from your superb T1 style.

I LOVE your videos! And your hair is lovely. 😊. I will just never understand getting rid of beautiful, good quality coats and clothes that you obviously still love just because they happen to not match a certain color on a card. You have such a wonderful light and energy, and that shows through anything you like and wear ... especially in colors you personally love, even if it might not match someone else’s method. Please take this in the caring spirit in which it was intended. Be well.

Inspiration to declutter my winter outerwear. I layered with a packable puffy on an Alaska cruise trip. Perfect with jacket.
Just planned my next clothes swap party for November! Have bag full already from decluttering!

Hello Diane, I didn't write any comments maybe since 2 or 3 months or more, but I was totally amazed by your transformation. You were great before but you're shining now : brighter, so so much younger, always smiling. Wow. I'm so impressed. I'm a type 3/4, (like you, for health reasons in my family, I began to let my 4 be very strong and first thought I was a 4). Like you, I'm on the way with little steps and I am really happy of it. It's a deep change (and by the same way we are back to our origins !)I feel free again and I understand that it can be weird seen from a stranger eye. (Excuse my english). Very nice hair cut : modern and fresh ! It' a long process : you're lighting mine (and my everyday life already changed so much thanks to you and the flylady system !) A deep thank you for all.

Wendy Morris Uniqlo sell them in lots of different colours. Occasionally they have them on sale so it is worth keeping an eye on their website. I also put mine under my coat for extra warmth in the winter as my coat is more suited to autumn and spring.

Could I put a TI scarf around neck with black coat as I am not sure a good new coat is in my budget this year?

Go you, as usual, always on task to tackle that outerwear every new season change:) Outerwear here is decluttered~check! I am now working on mending a hood for a new parka with which I removed the "fur" on the hood last year after buying it because it just seemed too trendy and well, just overdone. I procrastinated on the hood mending because sewing is not my favorite. It is a indigo shade of blue that I am hoping will not be too dark on me for DYT2. We will soon see. OH! Very important, I must say that your hairstyle today is simply so pretty as it reminds me exactly of my Mom's hairstyle that she wore when she was in her 20's and newly engaged to be married. ~This is a compliment to you~ :) P.S. I

Nice to see you again! Please, do not take me wrong, I admire you a lot but I would like to observe that Zara is not a fair trade mark, explores people in poor countries and spoils the environemment in many terrible ways in order to sell clothes for low prices, please do not support this giant of the fast fashion markt.
