I had the fox acoustics box and it was loud but just didn't hit the lows with any authority! I swapped it for a Net Audio sealed fiberglass box.. it's not quite as loud but hits the lows a hell of a lot harder!!!
Had JL Audio subs plus Rockford Fosgate Amps the ones that are waffle Shaped installed in my vehicle Back in the Day..Absolute Awesome Sounds...Bass and High ends nobody could touch..system was so sweet we had to remove it from vehicle when sold..if the JL 15' Dual Box haven't isn't dried out.my son will have everything installed just like it was B4..RF and JL audio (not 2b confused with JBL) Rocks...Shawty pulled me over just because of my Sounds TRUE STORY 😊
Good video dude....informative and concise. That fox box is terribly ugly but you seem to think it sounded good so oh well. Net audio has the best ram boxes ive ever come across. I dont work for them or anything but i like rams and i like base so i can personally say their setup is the best ive come across. Your install was clean as hell!
Great job with the install. Very helpful for me. I couldn't find anything besides your video about using the AMPPro. Doing a similar install on my 24 2500. Amppro, 3 way active component fronts, 3 fosgate power amps (600x4, 400x4, and a 1500x1) and a DSP. I'm really worried about fitting the amps now. Fit 3 amps in my last 22 ram.
I find your videos informative, thanks for sharing. I can't wait till cooler outside temps so I can start on my new 2023 Ram 2500 Crew Cab. Reusing JL Audio amps and speakers from my 2018 Ram Power Wagon.
Nice install. I have a 22 RAM Powerwagon with basically the same interior. I've always put systems in my vehicles but I knew this new truck was outside of my scope of practice. I knew how difficult it would be to do a stealthy install. My installer worked some miracles and installed 3 Audiocontrol amps, an Epicenter and a DM 810 DSP on the back wall.
Sir, I'm looking to do a full audio installation, but I am lost as to what can possibly fit perfectly. I do want something that hits hard thou.. may I ask what you went with for subs and box?
@@smokeystang I didn't want to modify the interior at all because I have kids that need to sit in the back. I went with JL Audio TW3 10's in a fiberglassed custom box. MTI sells some good boxes that fit these trucks. JL Audio TW3's in my opinion are the best sounding shallow mount subs out there. 12's will fit under there too.
This video and the previous were very helpful. Would you recommend dynamat (or equivalent) if you're going to go as far as removing the seats to do all of this? I am gathering everything to do my '22 Ram 1500 although I have to figure out the center console as I have the GT edition. Thanks for any input/advice.
I have the same pickup and I want to remove the "tubs" under the seats and put 4 8" facing forward and make a custom box, finding boxes is tough and expensive. Hopefully, I won't have to lift the seats.
Holly wire 😂😂😂 why would you not run a single wire to a distribution block back by the amps lol.. at least run a buss bar or something.. for all you did that triple wire setup at the battery is really tacky and lot of extra non needed wire time to run three sets vs just one and the cost of the wire.. also not a fan of those cheap plastic fuses under the hood.. I much prefer to run a breaker and mount it back on the firewall where it’s easy to reset if needed but out of sight. No way would’ve I have mounted that epic center there like that customer wants it not. There is no reason to need access to it like that and looks like something a high school kid would do
Fox box hit really hard and only 400 bucks 1.55 air space per speaker not going to find box with more air space for your truck unless you go custom you will boom with Fox box
I got a 2022 ram 1500 big horn non amplified that I'm trying to install a amp. I bought the pac anc harness but I can't find the anc unit in the truck under the driver seat, did they change something in 2022?
Quick question, so you didn't have to use the APH-CH01 wire harness, i have a 2016 ram i have the amp pro. when i put the system together Crutchfield recommended i get the APH CH01 harness.

Where did you create your ground for the amps? Im in the midst of doing an install on my 2024 power wagon now

They do have nice boxes they are also 3 times the money and they only make a box that fit 10s for that truck I think fox is a good way to go 2nd best
True....exact numbers for my needs was about double but I got better customer service and for me it made the difference especially my situation :)

Nice job very well executed very clean. I’ve got a 2019 version of that same truck I’m putting a system in so this video was a huge help. Thanks

Great job, like you said the sub box looks like ass on a 80k truck!

How many hours did it take you to do full install
Big help, thanks for sharing the routing / mounting details. Have a 3500 sport and need a sound system bad
The 2 way infinity speakers also hits. I had to use the trim ring on my 22 so it didn’t hit.

Did make a video installing the amp pro and anc bypass?

Thx , that was a ton of info,, but i can't find any diagram of a 22 Ram 3500 for speakers wire colors 😕
Nice video
So what do you recommend for a truck like that? I have a power wagon with the same space. I would like something that hits hard though.

Can you do a video on the roof speakers?
Where did you run the remote turn on too? Doing my system tmr? With this
Where did you run the remote turn on and turn off for the amplifier??

You ever find an answer to this? I’m doing my 13 here pretty soon and was wondering the same
Did the screen turn right on my screen won’t turn on after installing
pac audio aphch42
Are you running new wire to the doors or just tapping into the factory wire? If so how much power can the factory wire handle?
He used a Rockford amp 4 channel did you watch bolth videos
my bad I see day two now lol
Nice install, man. I personally would ditch that AC epicenter and use a dsp.
