I lived in Cahors for six months in the 90s as a Mormon missionary. I fell in love with the region and have been back many times. You've captured its beauty well. Thank you!

Hannah! What a beautiful tour of the Southwest of France 🇫🇷 I feel like I was watching something from National Geographic. The cinematography, the storytelling, the music. So well done and it was worth the wait😍 Thoroughly enjoyed this and I love that London got to go along all the adventures with you!

Amazing views :) I currently live in Paris and am going to visit these three villages you showed in your video next month! Thank you for the equally amazing, high-quality video and keep up the good work! By the way, where in French Alps do you live? I've been to Chamonix twice this year and I absolutely enjoyed every moment there.

Thank you so much! I’m thrilled you enjoyed the video and that you’re planning to visit these villages-they’re such special places! I hope you have a wonderful trip next month. As for me, I’m lucky enough to call the French Alps home; I live near Chamonix, so I completely understand why you enjoyed it there. It’s such a magical place, isn’t it? If you have any questions about your upcoming trip, feel free to ask. I’d love to know any points of interest and restaurants in Paris you might recommend!

@@hannahvanwagner Yes, I can't wait to explore these hidden gems in South-western France, the region called 'Périgord' or 'Dordogne'. (The villages you went to are just below that region.) Everyday I explore France on google map, wondering where my next holiday destination would be! I have not been to many restaurants in Paris, but I can recommend 'Les Confrères' near Montmartre and 'Le Jéroboam' in the 14e arrondisement, for their unique fusion-style dishes. If you are in love for croissants, you can also visit 'La Maison d'Isabelle' to try their famous croissants au beurre! Also, don't forget to visit le Musée d'Orsay if you are attracted to impressionist drawings like those of Monet and Renoir. Thank you again and look forward to your next video!

Wow! That was amazing. Now, I can't wait to visit that region. Curious what the deal was with the devil to finish the bridge.
    Stunning images and impressive work!

🙏 Thank you so much for watching and for your kind words. That means a lot 🥰 here is more context for you: The legend of the Pont Valentré in Cahors tells of an overwhelmed architect who, struggling with the bridge’s lengthy construction during the 14th century, made a pact with the devil. In exchange for the devil’s help in completing the bridge, the architect promised to hand over his soul. However, when the bridge was nearly finished, the architect outwitted the devil by asking him to fetch water using a sieve, making it impossible for the task to be completed. In revenge, the devil is said to have damaged the bridge, and a small carving of him can be seen on the middle tower as a reminder of this tale.

@hannahvanwagner OH the ACTUAL devil. I thought it was metaphorocal for corruption. Thanks for the clarification!

Sharing everyone of Jesus Christ, He is coming back. We are spiritually saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ our Lord God and Savior. Religions cannot save. Only Jesus Christ saves.
