Yes Diana doesn't just sing, she's an all-around performer with a strong theatrical background. She's currently a 4th year student at GITIS University in Moscow, studying everything from vocals, acting and dance and probably more. When she graduates, many more opportunities will open up for her, especially acting and teaching. She is a very busy and hard-working girl!
I am certain we will see her as an actress and I bet she will be vocalising many Russian animations. People call some singers as versatile here and there without knowing the Diana phenomenon and I laugh them off.

The judges on the show are music professionals who are acting strictly as judges. Unlike "The Voice," the judges do not participate as coaches during the main part of the competition. The show has a small, but highly-professional, staff of vocal coaches and musical arrangers who work with the young contestants. In this case, "Wicked Game" was arranged specifically for Diana's voice by Alexander Stepin. He is an extremely talented musician, music producer and composer who has occasionally continued to work with Diana as a composer and arranger since Diana finished this show.

Diana is the most extraordinary singer in the world. You need to listen to a lot of her stuff - as she has been singing on stage since she was 8 years old and she is now 20. Listen to everything and you will be shocked and fascinated. She's not exactly a singer - she's a mythical Siren and you can hear it. And you will follow her voice - obeying your soul, as millions of people followed. Now she has the title of Queen of chills (goosebumps).

It is based on Russian folktales about a young betrothed orphan girl who goes to the river, the boundary between the living and the dead, to ask her deceased mother's blessing for her marriage.

Danna is an incredible performer at any age. And yes she did win this competition
for those who do not know Diana's back story, here is a brief outline : abused and abandoned as a child....was MUTE...raised for years in a Russian orphanage...her adoptive Mum provided voice and singing lessons as trauma therapy...Diana is a natural Contralto, rare and the lowest type of female vocalist...is polyphonic ( able to sing multiple tones or notes simultaneously )....and she is a divine performer.......

Thanks for returning to Diana. She was 18 when she sang, "Can't Help Falling in Love," 15 in this video, and she's 20 as of this writing. This video comes from the 2019 season of "You Are Super!" and is the second of three songs she sang. The first, "Blizzard," is fantastic and doesn't get reacted to enough. The third of the three songs, "Human," is a fantastic cover as well.

This show is not like the voice, it is a vocal competition that give children with difficult past (abuse, abandonment, orphanage) a chance to show their talents and win admissions to prestigious musical schools.

She won it twice, once at the age of fourteen and a second time next year when they organised a super show where all the previous season winners and best finalists gathered to decide the best of all times and that was Diana.

For me she's already one of the greatest women singer and performer of all time at only 20 years old. When she sings it seems she's in it so much that you become part of her performance. She transform every song she does into something so different from the original but so great at the same time, that you can't do anything but love it. All the productions, the scripts, the music, etc. are also so stunning and on point that it's bringing you in an other place.
That's a true complete artist in the old term definition. She's also so humble and kind it's almost unreal !!!

It's a Russian talent show for disadvantaged youth. The show's title is "You're Super!" (translated from Russian; the word 'super' is a loan word from English.) I've never actually watched the show, so I don't know how the competition works.

TYLR, as you have stated Diana Ankudinova was only 15 years old for this performance of Wicked Game that took place during a vocal competition for disadvantaged teens called You Are Super that took place on May 12, 2019. During this performance some reactors wondered out loud, if Diana Ankudinova was using Auto-Tune during this performance, or some other kind of voice enhancement? The general consensus of many more vocal professionals and recording sound engineers, not just reactors say no. There was NO auto-tune added, nor any other form of electronic voice manipulation. What many may not know is Diana Ankudinova is using a vocal technique known as polyphonic singing which is extremely difficult to learn and do, and is an extraordinary accomplishment for someone this young. A singer that has mastered the polyphonic singing technique can create one, and sometimes two, different tones at the same time which can add to the harmonic overtones that can make it sound like more than one voice singing which many times results in individuals mistakenly believing she is using Auto-Tune or some other form of electronic voice manipulation or pitch correction software when she is not. This performance was her second appearance on a talent show for disadvantaged teenagers called “You Are Super” that ended with Diana Ankudinova winning the competition after giving this mesmerizing performance.
To give a little more context, during the previous year when Diana was only 14 years old In 2018, she first performed in the You Are Super a vocal competition. For the 2018 You Are Super competition she sang a Russian folk song, Rechenka in her native Russian language. It was during this 2018 performance of Rechenka that many voice professionals started paying close attention to Diana because she was showing such low, rich, deep, and resonant sounds, and was displaying all the hallmarks of becoming a true contralto voice type, plus her musicality and stage presence was well beyond the ability of the vast majority of 14 year old girls. From the begining of Diana's Rechenka performance, you can see her face, her body movements and see as she sinks into this charecter. It was no surprise when Diana was declared the 2018 “You Are Super” winner, but no one was prepared for the following year in 2019 for the full contralto sound she exhibited during her performance of Wicked Game that won her the 2019 “You Are Super” competition!
There are other performances of Diana in vocal competitions, and performing in concerts. She also recorded some videos done in her home studio during the COVID pandemic lock down that are stripped down, without the major flash, fashion, or production value of her competitions or concerts. She has a polyphonic voice. In essence, she can sing a duet...maybe even a trio...with herself! It's more common in the East (much like throat singing) because it's part of their traditional songs. It's a lost art here in the West, though some of her music reminds me of music heard only during sacred (closed to the public) ceremony of certain American Indian groups. Someone created a virtual duet between her and Dimash. Talk about gorgeous AND mind blowing at the same time!
