Nerds...."he's breaking the rules, he's standing on a river bank as a fakkin dinosaur". So glad I don't have this game, devs knew that they should've added some aoe to large dinos like that. Rex played like a complete douche, practically abusing an exploit for an unfair advantage to get an illegitimate kill. If anything the best part is how both parties were crying about being in water. What kind of rule is that? XD I'm going back to my ark videos now
its a rule, it wouldnt have been so bad if the pue didnt start complaining to admins first when the admins were on my side. Also if rexs and other dinos couldn't kill pues then the game would be more broken. I assume you've never played the game so stop making dumb assumptions when you've never even experienced them.
@@PorplePersona it's funny. I'm pretty sure you'll still have a chance to win against someone that could actually defend themselves in a game. Yet you're using, what seems to be, an exploit to put the other player in a position to where he couldn't even deal damage back. And even though the rule is dumb, technically you were the only one touching water at first. I thought about it, and that was actually smart. Putting you in a position to get banned for something bannable because you're abusing an exploit the devs won't ban you for. I would've did the same thing ngl. And while I don't have this game, after watching this I'm definitely not going to try it because what I saw was absolutely game breaking and a waste of time. Can't even write it off as bad rp 😂
There's two reasons why not going into the water is a rule. 1) In this version of The Isle, bodies are inedible when in water. Thus, people have gone into the water to deny people food when being hunted. 2) It outright breaks the game/server. As in, if something dies in water, the game - from what I've heard - will cause a server can break. Also, there are no rules server's. Personally, I prefer those with rules so I'm not killed just for the heck of it, but I can understand why people don't like these rules. Hope this clears things up a bit. Edit: Also, that "exploit" is the only way ta kill a Pue. Hence why it's not accessible ta the public. Only devs and admins can access it. That is, unless they "inject" another player as a pue.
@@snipertweenkyx1110so your argument is Porple should've just let the Pue kill him since the Pue forced him into the water.? aka "Abusing" the Pue's massive Damage and AOE? The isle combat has got to be the worst I’ve ever seen. I’ve played before and all you do is ride a hit box. Not to mention most of the players are cringe as well.
IMO the idea of riding another dinosaur in of itself regardless of what ride is being done is stupid. There is no reason a dinosaur that takes under 2hrs to grow (Utah) should be able to take down something that takes 6+hrs to grow, unless it has a large group. (rex, giga, even camas.) that doesn't mean it takes no skill TO ride as a Utah its ridiculous and stupid but impressive at the same time, its not the players fault its the devs, they even before the abandonment of legacy they added no counter measures to tail riding. so of course players will use the "best" options available to them. Riding is a game dev problem not a person problem never should hate someone for using something to there advantage. while I still cringe at stuff like this nice kill.
there is every reason a utah should be able to take down something that big. otherwise im pretty sure the game would be MEGA unfair. Think about it.. If in order to beat something like a Pue you would need something just as big or bigger. then they would practically be immortal.
@@bladestars4207 you just completely disregard all of nature and how dinosaurs actually hunted. When faced with an animal larger you have groups. Which is what utahs ARE MADE FOR to hunt animals in a pack and coordinate with eachother to take down a larger foe. We know allosaurus did this too. And Tyranosaurus simply wouldn’t have too. The thing that balances Sauropods is there immense growth time and there slow speed, in the real world no creature DARED to take on a full grown HEALTHY adult sauropod it just wasn’t possible. The PUE holds this as well. In modern times Lions only attack young or elderly elephants. For more proof.
@@bladestars4207 on top of this the idea that its “Mega Unfair” is just stupid cause it assumes your going to try and fight them in the first place? Your dinosaur was never designed to do that.
@@ultragalacticgamer7195 "how dinosaurs actually hunt" for starters this is a game. not how things "actually hunt" and you just proved my point. my point is utah's should also be able to take down pue. AS YOU JUST SAID "to take down a larger foe" however before you go like "but ur talking about 1 utah im talking about a pack" This Is A Video Game. Meaning it would make sense if a solo utah could take down a solo pue. Players shouldn't need to get a whole group of people just to be capable to hunt a dinosaur that is bigger than them. My point is. there is nothing wrong with a solo utah taking down bigger dinosaurs. If it takes "no skill" to the point where ppl complain THIS MUCH about it then they can just NOT PLAY PUE??? Literally one of if not THE MOST Unbalanced dinosaur in the game. 1 shots just about anything it sees. "leg riding" is the only way to kill it without loosing all your hp in a fraction of a second. "mega unfair" because again. we shouldn't need to gather a whole group just to be able to hunt a dam pue without people complaining about it. No its not stupid to "try and fight them in the first place". Also love how you brought up all this Irl stuff about the wild but. If we are lookin in the irl perspective. the pue would of been MORE likely to loose. Also in real life there is no "dont go in water during fight" or any other rules. Your literally implying that we should need to have a whole pack just to take down 1 big dinosaur because its "stupid" to be able to solo a pue as a utah. If you think my idea is "stupid" then I can only imagine yours is worse.
@@PorplePersonaso wait your saying it won’t be fair for pue to be able to turn or have its other kick in every comment that brings something about that up but isn’t it not fair for them that they can’t
Gotta be honest, ok rule break, fair, ban him, but although maybe not server rule break I would consider tail riding cheating IMO, not saying guy on the video officially cheated o anything, but tail riding is one the most idiotic, immersion breaking and unfair mechanic that has ever been introduced in a dinosaur survival game. Like almost no matter how you see it is bad, if you see it from a realism and immersion standpoint it’s just none of those 2 at all, and from a game balance point... the fact that a Rex can solo a Pue or a raptor a Rex by tailriding.... I mean..... if I have to argue how that is not balanced we will never agree anyway, so why waste more words.
full "immersion" and realism would make the game not fun and totally unfair. No tail riding would make every low/mid tier, for example utah, completely useless against anything bigger than it. There would be even more apexes and things like pue would be un killable. Realism doesnt mean shit if the games not fun
@@PorplePersona full realism would indeed make the game not fun, full immersion however wouldn’t, more immersion is always better. On the other hand, no tail riding wouldn’t make them useless at all against anything bigger. In Evrima for example tail riding is basically gone for now and Utah’s still manage to kill stegos, Tenontos, sometimes even deinonichus. But even if they were rendered usless against something bigger, so what? There would still be plenty of Dino’s they could hunt and the game would be even more fun because you have to run from shit instead of fighting everything. Regarding the apexes, ok not true, but so what if they are ukillable by smaller things? That’s why they are APEXES. They would still be killable by other apexes and no tail riding wouldn’t make them unkillable if you teamed up with others to take them down, that would be the best version of the game. The problem is not that they die by smaller things, the problem comes when other Dino’s that aren’t supposed to solo kill them solo kill them from full hp. Sure realism doesn’t mean shit if the game is not fun, but the game is also not fun if immersion breaks every fight because of tail riding. And I’m not blaming the player (you or anyone else) I blame the game for allowing that mechanic to exist. But like I said, if you don’t get why a Rex soloing a Pue or a raptor soloing a Rex (especially taking almost no damage) is stupid then we will not understand each other regardless of how much we argue.

At the end, where you said "goes into water again" I was walking around the water on my monitor. So that is also wrong, if you have any knowledge of the game, then you should know about that.
the pue made the correct call, you are abusing the game mechanics so the pue used the server rules against you, you are riding the back left leg cause you know it then cant fight back it positioned itself so you cant do that..... rex is the rule breaker for entering the water to continue to abuse game mechanics.
first off, I'm riding the back leg because if I do anything else I'd instantly die, and riding the back leg I can still die pretty easily. 2nd off the pue rulebreaked and went in water first, and if i didn't follow it I would've lost the fight. 3rd off the admins agreed with me that I was right and the pue rulebreaked.
@@PorplePersona no it didnt, it went next to the water because you were not fighting fairly. yes the pue would one shot you, but you cheesed the game mechanics. the pue went near the water to try and zone you out, trying to use the environment in the fight, you just ignored the rules and went into the water regardless to continue your cheese of the game mechanics. you could have disengaged and not gone into the water. within the rule set of the server you were in YOU were the one that rule broke by entering the water to maintain your advantage.
@@snipertweenkyx1110 pue would be completely immortal to anything than another pue if it weren't for it's "exploitable" leg.

Fr
@@alejandrovallejo4330 "regardless of how much we argue." Hints to why its a DEBATEABLE topic LOL
