My 3 1/2 year old daughter and I just made these and they turned out so great!! Even though we missed the Live feed, we watched the video and it was so helpful along the way. Baked two right away and baking the other 6 in the morning for breakfast and to give to some friends
Excellent sourdough bread tutorial different hydration I haven't been baking long watched hundreds of videos but I've learned more in one of your videos than I have in all the others you've got a new fan
Hello Bettie, thank you for taking your time to provide this free and informative content. It was super helpful as a new baker to see how you mixed and handled the dough! I baked these this morning and am waiting for them to cool down to add the lemon glaze but I think they are going to be the best scones all thanks to your help. Cheers!
I'm very late to the party! I make scones very often, however, I learned from watching this to fold the dough. I cannot wait to try this technique and see the difference. Thank you.
Hi Bettie..made your scones today. They were very delicious.I made them plain with buttermilk. They were the best scones I have made so far. They just spread a little too much..i will freeze them before baking next time. Thanks again.
I wasn't in a position to make these along with you but I'm going to make them now. I'll let you know how they turn out. I very happy to say that my scones turned out great. Not perfect but great. Although I was a little unsure of the fresh vs frozen blueberries part. You said to use fresh but the written recipe said you only use frozen. I used fresh. They're a little "soft" but I couldn't be happier. Thank you, Bettie
@@BakerBettie That would be amazing, thank you. There are so many different ideas on how to do the bagels that it is confusing. I find your videos explaining the steps so well done and easy to follow so I will look forward to it. Thanks again for answering so quickly.
These are amazing. But they (kind of) fall apart when eating them. If I cook them longer would that help or freeze them first or more liquid? I just want to be able to hold it in one hand when eating it rather than having to leave it on a plate. But like I said they are delicious. Thank you for the recipe.
Hi there, my goal here is to give you a free baking class. I want to do it because I know people need some goodness right now. I don’t claim to be a professional speaker and don’t have any intentions of ever becoming one.
Baker Bettie sorry to sound critical, it’s just that upspeak makes you sound unsure of what you are saying. I know you are doing this to help people and I appreciate that. Ignore me, it’s just an observation.

That's so great to hear! Yes, the freezer trick really does help with the spreading!

Thank you for pointing out that cooks and bakers are scientist.
Hi, I am a vegetarian and do not use egg. Can I replace the eggs here with something else?
Would love to see some more eggless recipes from you.
I like to eat my Scones with a nice cup of tea.😃
