I love Michigan. There's so much water here with the rivers, lakes, and Great Lakes. You're basically 6 miles away from water here. It's one of the reasons why Michigan has more boat per capita in the US. Michiganganders love boating. Thanks again, Robert, for another great video on my home state of Michigan.
I love it when your travels come to Michigan, you do a great job, much respect! In the future though for pronunciation of Charlevoix it's sharl - luh - voy. Most coast in US besides Alaska, so many great places and coastal towns. Can't wait for you to come back 🫶🏼
Great video, what a nice way to get to know these special little places that appear to be well suited to RV travel. Love the gorgeous boats and homes here; thanks for taking the slow ride back, and introducing a lesser known area of the country that is actually, quite beautiful! Cheers to you and Sun Outdoors for this awesome episode👏
"How did we do it in the 1990s?" I did it with AAA maps and guidebooks...even made my reservations at pay phones once in awhile..ah, the good old days! 🙂 Michigan is a great summer destination, the lakefront towns almost have a California beach vibe. If you liked the Skybridge, you need to do the Treetop walk when you make it to Australia. See you next time!
Traverse City was our home town for 30 years. I retired after 21 years of being a chimney sweep servicing the entire area you drive thru in this video. It's beautiful in the summer, frozen solid in the winter. Retired in Arizona now. We developed an allergy to freezing temperatures, snow and ice.🥴
My first sales territory in early 80s was based in Traverse City. Covered all of northern lower peninsula of MI. The Woolworth Store manager in Petosky was Mr Whipple. Who remembers that name?
Robert - This was great video. I've never been to Michigan but they have some nice little towns (and boat). Definitely need to visit one of these days.
I really enjoyed that small hike through the forest area, so cool to have that in the middle of a congested area...wish we had that in Phoenix, we just have regular parks...I love love LOVE walking through a forest! And it's cool to see YTbers like yourself have success by being on other channels or even little tv/commercial spots...let's me know that you CAN find success being a youtuber!
Robert, I'm from Michigan and spent a fair amount of time in Petoskey and Harbor Cove back in the day. I didn't recognize a thing! Oh by the way... You are the best keyboard bongo player around!!
We were camping in Traverse City that same week - great weather. Suggestion for your next trip - drive North of Harbor Springs through the “Tunnel of Trees” to Cross Village and the Legs Inn. Best view and best Polish food in the state.
WOW!! you did it again you were by the best yet in Michigan and you went to Ohio, Just north of Harbor Springs is Cross Village and the Tunnel of Trees, and Legs Inn restaurant, look it up, Legs Inn Cross Village Mi

The last time you were in Michigan in Detroit, you ran out of there like someone was chasing you! NO ONE WAS. i stopped following you after that. You missed a gem! Looks like you did it again!
