I have the J27 on an old video tape (Railscene No. 26) struggling up through Darnholm where hand sanding of the rails had to be used but all to no avail as she slipped to a stand and refused to go any further. In the end a class 25 was summoned to push the J27 and it's train up the bank to Goathland.
