ATHERSTONE. 86, 66's Virgins. 350;s, Interview and more !! 30.01.2012.

Well now, what a mixed day. Started with a signalling problem near Euston followed by a broken down train at Cheddington. Lucky that this did not affect the Northampton to Crewe service which I travelled on to Atherstone. Once here I found my way around and video'd anything that came along and found that people were quite chatty. So on camera you can see a 'sort of ' interview with a young man and as a finale ? Wait 'n' see. Nice, enjoyable day...There's always something new waiting to be discovered.

I like the 'sir' bit lol. Dont often get called that. Yes the line is used for freight coming from north via Nuneaton Coventry to get access to the Banbury line. Last time I was waiting for the 153 Unit at Coventry I saw three freight and in the Bedworth area a train of tanker wagons in a siding to the west of the line. Thanks a lot for comment
