Scott monologing all the way while bringing Appa home indirectly gave us a tour of the server and his area as well. Also Scott, the red stone chicken idea tells us how caring you are of your pet and how sure you are that they will survive the rest of the season.
Small tip for the chicken dispenser: use an observer so it dispenses as soon as an egg goes into the dispenser so there isn’t constant ticking
You can also use a comparator for this. Just have a comparator facing away from the dispenser and then use a 1 tick repeater and connect it back up
Chickens being randomly shot up into the enclosure for appa to hunt is such a great idea lol

Appa is A LOT chiller than most other ocelots. Other ocelots (which I have tried to adopt) run around trying to kill things or just escape llike crazy
That's because ocelots have a trust mechanic. If you feed it a fish, it has a 1 in 3 chance to 'trust' you, which means they wont run from players anymore.

I love that not only did you build Appa (fantastic name by the way!) a home, you included quality enrichment. That is a dedicated pet owner!
Scott got really lucky getting oscelot. Others have restrictions because taming is not allowed, and oscelots are hunters, they probably don't die easily. It's a feline too so idk if it even has fall damage. Now can they wear armor?
I think I saw somewhere that foxes can wear armor just like villagers they don't show but it's there.

Given the fact that you specifically pointed out that you were taking eggs as one of your starting materials, I'm pretty sure everyone knows what you're building. Although *professional* Minecraft players would generally use an observer to fire the dispenser whenever it's not empty.

So I went back to the part where Scott got the paper of what his adopted pet is. To listen closely and then I heard OCELOT not AXOLOTL 😅. So that made more sense of. Why he went to the jungle biome instead of the bodies of water. So I’m not confused anymore!

You can make the chicken dispenser redstone a lot simpler with a comparator! Just put a comparator coming out the back of the dispenser and then loop the redstone around into the dispenser, less lag and no irritating clicking noise!
