Saxton Hale im pretty sure it got discontinued. it would have a trailer by 2016 and probably be out this spring or early summer. but nothing was talked about that since 2015... killed before even let out.
i want to see an animation where instead of fighting, all the bosses come together to tell the player that they aren't a hero. wanna know how? notice how the bosses dont do anything until you summon them. Take duke fishron. hes the guardian of the sea life, so he cant eat his people. he's starving, and you're teasing him with a truffle worm. or eye of Cthulhu. ever notice how the suspicios looking eye looks like a servant of cthulhu? EoC cares about his minions. or skeletron. YOU CURSE THE OLD MAN. so skeletron goes on and tries to kill you for doing so. there is also a painting of the old man in the dungeon sometimes. so obviously, the skeletons like this guy. how about lunatic cultist? hes creepy, sure, but you just killed his god. i think you'd be pretty pissed too.
it would be grueling, days of having your mind broken down into its base components, shuffled, and put back together again. it would end, eventually but nobody and nothing would ever be the same again
