As a drummer of almost 50 years I am quite impressed by her blend of power and technique (and sheer enthusiasm is off the wall)! The exaggerated arm motions belie her very good finger control technique. And she can definitely destroy a bass drum head! When you bounce on and off bass pedals with your body wait, they tend to rock forward and dig into the head so she has the hard plastic head saver disk behind the pedal (as I did for many years-you learn after ripping an expensive head once)! You can tell several had been on the center of the head but she just peels through them so not much left. Only other person I seen do heel/toe between left kick pedal and Hi-hat (doesn't really show it in this video) which was something I taught myself at her age (just shifting basic heel/toe technique sideways). Very useful technique (especially on an electronic kit when using many pedals). Very inspirational and those faces...the blowfish look is the best!
I know this is old & she has newer stuff, but I wanted to see if she was as good when younger... TOTALLY BLOWN AWAY!! How can such a small & young human being have SO MUCH TALENT?!
Extremely impressive; clean, technically superb, and physically darn near impossible to emulate. The volume and timing on her hits are absolutely perfect and her use of everything before her is truly impressive. I'm so sick of drummers that overly-rely on their snares or cymbals; this kid uses everything. How have I not heard of her before? How does someone like this just come out of no-where? Whatever, I'm impressed as hell and hope she continues to post stuff
Before she started to play, she looked so innocent. But when she started to play, she went off on the drums. So much passion and great drumming. Now, ask your parents to buy you a new drum kit.

(11y..! now) without doubt - already in competence with much older for front places. Best talented! Super support of parents and with a kind brother. Looking for energy, motivation, liveliness: No doubts then Junna is world champion! One can notice not only her energy, also her degree in musics! Senri K. perfect Jazz- drummer. there is no more perfect among old professional Jazzers! Kanade Sato: You forgot this sympathetic only 18 years old drummer, already in world elite. I hope you accept also a Korean young woman in this range, A. Yeon is a technically perfect drummer. As perfect she is in that sense, so emotionless she appears in her performances. Shouldn't she decide if she want to be a super-good drummer or miss world? I'm no professional musician, so I should not create a definite list. There are also young talented boys . If we regard past, there we could find nearby no female super drummer. Today we have to ask if young women are more talented than their male colleges. Let the girls collect years of professional experience, maybe be we can see a new dimension. It will come from south-east-asian women?

One reason for their good playing might be their smaller and lighter extremities. Lighter and shorter pendulums have a smaller frequency. That's from bio-mechanic. Another fact can be their learning in younger age. The curriculum of most good drummers I know reports a later beginning. (Yoyoka begun when she was 2 y., Kanade Sato was 3 y.) I haven't written all this just as an answer for your short statement. It gave me the occasion. The reason to write it was this music-piece of Junna. This is one of the best things that has ever happened to me in my entire life I’ve used Pachelbels Canon in D as my wedding song so freaking stereo typical but I just love this piece and I wish I had known about this adaptation because I would’ve rocked the shit out of my stupid wedding if I could’ve had this adaptation loaned to me for the event this is the most epic shit EVER. I don’t have much hope for this world anymore but this girl and a few other young adults rocking out I won’t mention names because I don’t want tomstir up anything but there are some young people here n there who are giving a bit of hope which is unexpected and so welcomed
Junna has such a wonderful smile that just makes the viewer feel good and the drum skills to amaze us. １年ほど前にカノンのピアノ演奏に魅かれ、最近カノンロックなるものを知りギターを聴く。そしてふとサムネを見るとドラムバージョンがあったので見てみると・・・ふと時間が経つのを忘れた程見入ってしまった。何気に再生回数を見ると、1371回・・・有名人気バンドのドラマーでもないとそんなものなのか・・・と思ったら「万」が付いてたｗ 納得！ロックは元々好きだけどドラムでこんな魅かれたの初めて！
顔芸のすごさに負けないドラムテクがすばらしい。
