Lea is singing live that video is very raw while both Christina and Katrina recorded their video on a recording studio for me that's an advantage. The three of them are incomparably great singers and I just love the classic version of Lea.
@Mario Limbaga yes exactly because Lea sounds like a true Disney princess while the other two sounds more like a powerhouse performer/ belters that gives different feelings to the song with different adlibs and runs.
Lea's sounded the most "Disney" to me & delivers the "vulnerability" of the story. Xtina's delivers the "strength" of the song & makes me really wanna go for a fight on behalf of my family.
That's the word I'm looking for, "vulnerability". Only Ms. Lea gave such vulnerabilty to that song. I can't be satisfied to any covers anymore. Hahah as soon as they've failed to give that feeling of vulnerability from the very first line, I knew it was never gonna be the same.

Compared to Christina and Katrina's, Lea's version on this video was 9 years ago when she was awarded by the Disney company as a Disney Legend but up to now (she's turning 50, 50!), her current version still tops every interpretation of this song not only because she is the original, but because she still sings as perfect as before, even better. Ms.LEA SALONGA'S singing ability is explosive. She's so good at controlling her voice, but strong power at the same time. And, Ms.Lea defines a real singer who can give you the lyrics or can make you believe in every song she's singing. She knows how to transmit her energy to people, and was born to burn the stage. She has always enjoyed her time on stage. No doubt, she's an international singer. Ay! No! She's a worldwide singer.
I think you should compare Christina’s original rendition and her 2020 version! It’s obviously where Katrina got her influence for singing reflection! Lea is and will always be Mulans singing voice! Lea brings a sweet innocence to the song, while Xtina is beautifully powerful! Who sung it better Christina and Lea did! They sung it both so wonderfully well that they translate differently and is like two different songs!
All of them did great but Lea is a legend to be able to sing 3 Disney songs you must be something else to be able to do that. the behind the scenes with Lea Salonga as she records the song Reflection with a live orchestra from Disney's Mulan will give you goosebumps.
I was in the audience for Lea's performance of this song being used here. The video doesn't do the in person performance even a tenth of the deserved justice it deserves. She was amazing during this performance and no one can do it better than Lea.
I love christina's style but when I heard lea's version strike on my heart and make me wanna cry, that i feel the reflection for myself . Disney's version more emotional for me.
Christina's is a typical pop music bed for a movie. Katrina's is an improvised version for a concert tour and a cover promo ad. But Lea's is the one crystal - clear voice of a character that speaks her struggles and aspirations in the story, ever faithful to the demands of the melody, a crystal - clear water that flows on a hidden spring untouched by human hands. Lea is Mulan while Christina and Katrina are trying to be one.
Different voices, different flavors, different interpretation, they excel each on their voice quality, it cannot be denied that as time goes by, this song seems like yesterday when Katrina gave new flavor to this song,m.
Katrina's version is meant for a cover song. Christina's is specially made for the movie soundtrack while Lea's version is really meant for the role of the character in the movie. Love Lea so much she's the Real Disney princess.
I love love love how Katrina mixed in the animated movie version, Christina’s old version AND Christina’s new version for the 2020 film AND Katrina added her own spin to it too. The talent jumped out ❤️❤️
Unicorn is magical rare creature. Let's not disrespect her because she doesn't have the name of big stars like Cristina and lea at least she's more skilled than the 2 of them, tbh. Don't get me wrong, lea is the best singer of reflection, a real Disney princess, Cristina voice is stunning, she's pretty.
Lea sung it in a very clean, clear , simple way to hear since its a Disney soundtrack for Mulan movie so that the children who is the target market of this movie can sing it easily
I thought you were gonna be one of the options in this choice Rebecca ... Christina is such a talented vocalist, one of the best our of generation. She deserves a comeback.
You’re going to have differences In the interpretation because Lea as the voice of the character had the job of really driving the story and feelings of the character with her voice which is STUNNING. Christina had the job of creating a version that would be suited for radio play. Now 20 years later I love the strength that comes through in her vocals. It’s like a battle cry whereas the original version had that innocence as you do when you’re 17.
Antoinette Escueta... Lea & Christina is the original .. Lea - Disney Christina - pop. They both owned the song. Like A whole New World.. Lea- Disney Kane- pop
Many people know about which country's women are the best, and they are the best not only in beautiful competitions such as synchronized swimming, rhythmic gymnastics or figure skating, but few people know how strong the singers of this country are. So discover this bright young extraordinary talent. Meet Diana Ankudinova. Her voice is incredibly rich in shades and unique in terms of sound timbre Very low tone with a transition to falsetto and yodel, rich timbre and incredible control give chills and goosebumps to the audience. Singing technique and artistry make her a unique performer. We ask you to make a reaction to DIANA ANKUDINOVA and give a professional analysis of her phenomenal voice.

Diana has a lot of songs that deserve close attention! I suggest making reactions to great ones: "Human", "Rechenka", "Blizzard" and others.
Lea's voice is crystal clear , tells a story with emotions where the listener also attentively listens and it's classical where all generations will surely love it. Vanessa's voice is also great but husky and strong and can depict the voice of a warrior princess.
For me i still go with Lea Salonga ,especially in her younger days...they are all good and great but its just the original is irreplaceble There r original that cover or new version is better than d original but Lea Salonga is 😊 one of a kind when it comes to musical or in theater😁
But you cannot campare her to other genre of music, coz shes from musical, thats differnt... compare her to other musical singer.... thats how comparing things baby
Christina was just 15 years old when she first professionally recorded that song for the original Mulan movie. I think that would make an interesting vocal coach video. Play a song from an artist that started very young off their first album (Xtina, Hanna Montana/Miley, Demi Lovato, Ricky Martin, Cher), then play one from today. Talk about what things you hear they improved with age/training from debut song to now, what techniques are used to make that improvement. If the artist has some wear and tear on their vocals now, what exercises are they probably doing to minimize further wear?
For me, no one can beat the original.. Lea sings with such clarity and simplicity that she doesn't need to play with the melody, no frills, thereby delivering the message of the song in its simplicity to the audience, that even children will be able to understand the meaning of the song.
@@aeshiryzenaeschirett5415 Xtina's voice has been long gone. And even in her prime she mostly strains live 🙄. Her growls, riffs and runs doesn't make her a better technical singer than Katrina.
Xtina "the beast" trully master the balance of all her elements in her redo of the song, the energy, the climax, the distinct vocal control are all just magnificent!!!
Easy, Xtina all the way. I watched the new Mulan last week (never saw the first one). It was meh, but when the ending credits rolled and that beautiful voice came on, I perked up. "Who is this, it sounds like Xtina but without all the vocal gymnastics". Was happy to find out it was indeed her. Then stayed up til 5 am watching all her vids on youtube, and discovered she sang this song in the first movie! Woulda been fun to include that version. She's so adorable! Then I watched her in Burlesque and she was amazing. I love her.
The Creators and directors of the animated film CHOSE LEA because she was the perfect right voice to be incorporated into the FILM. that song was purposely composed for the FILM story. Lea was a proven acting /theater for best Actress for a US Tony and British Lawrence Olivier awards the highest recognition for stage musicals with her abilities plus her iconic mega hit with "Whole new world" for disney. She got her break from hundreds of talented singers who auditioned for a WORLD wide search for the perfect 'Miss Saigon". And she NAILED that! The fact that she could sing LIVE on stage possible 6 days straight a week, possible perform two shows a day for several months in London singing LIVE with no errors or retakes on stage compared to a studio recording tells you a LOT of her incredible talent, range and world class calibre she already had by the time she made "Reflections". Christina was a unknown Amateur her first break in the music industry was the animated film and obviously was picked to sell the pop version as standard disney marketing strategy, for the hispanic market that's why her song was for the end credits. Biottom line when you hear a note or tune of "reflections"specially in the live action 2020 version score, everyone gets emotional as it immediately reminds you of the animated film the unforgetable iconic song by none other than the ORIGINAL Lea Salonga.
I love watching your reactions and your body language during these videos, it's like you go on a whole ass ride through the song, it's amazingggg keep up the good work gurlll
One point of reference here I'd like to make. Yes, Lea's style is reflected by her experience on Broadway, but her delivery is true Mulan. Hers is the voice of the character. Christina and Katrina are tributes to the film. All three are integral on the whole, but that would be the binding quality in my mind.
Whenever i hear lea sing i feel a little bad for my self not being able to do perfect pitch singing. Im a singer and people tells me i sound good. But whenever I hear lea i was like wtf im not yet there lol....
All three are fantastic but Lea is straight up the G.O.A.T. She just hits it right as the scene needed it every time and it hits you right in the heart.
@Ella De Castro Only among Filipinos really. To the OP--they are both good for different reasons. One is not better than the other. Lea's is soft, vulnerable as the scene in the film shows while Christina's is powerful, assertive which for the end of the film is a feel good quality.
Imagine Christina and Katrina play in a regular clip without digital production. Lea does not need such kind to impress everybody because she is pure and original.
I love her version. She has her own style and technique. Although, she was known as a "belter and powerful voice". You can still feel the emotion, a lot of control, way better to Christina.

How lucky u r man. I dreamed to watch lea salonga performing live that song
Oh my. So lucky. Her live performances are so amazing. Goosebumps.
this is lea,,live performance,,,the other two maybe mix with auto.../ lea is different caliber than them....
I get emotional every time I here Lea Salonga sing reflection, she is incredible
Different voices, different flavors, different interpretation, they excel each on their voice quality, it cannot be denied that as time goes by, this song seems like yesterday when Katrina gave new flavor to this song,m.
Lea's diction is out of this world. English is not my first language and I can always understand perfectly every single word that she sings.
The talent jumped out ❤️❤️
Christina - Soulful Pop
Lea- Disney Queen
Katrina - Unicorn
Hahaha the unicorn got me 😂
Oh mygod this unicorn comment made me laugh so hard that it made my day 🤣🤣🤣
Unicorn is magical rare creature.
Let's not disrespect her because she doesn't have the name of big stars like Cristina and lea at least she's more skilled than the 2 of them, tbh.
Don't get me wrong, lea is the best singer of reflection, a real Disney princess, Cristina voice is stunning, she's pretty.
@@ya_got_cooked you obviously didn't get the comment hahaha nobody is disrespecting Katrina in fact she's being complimented.
Katrina maybe good in her own way but you telling us she's better than lea, are you kidding us?
Lea sung it in a very clean, clear , simple way to hear since its a Disney soundtrack for Mulan movie so that the children who is the target market of this movie can sing it easily
I got chills hearing Lea... this was a good one
Lea version fits the emotion of what Mulan was feeling in that film. thats the diffrence bet.the 3
I thought you were gonna be one of the options in this choice Rebecca ...
Christina is such a talented vocalist, one of the best our of generation. She deserves a comeback.
She never left.
Only her true fans know that she’s never been gone. She’s blessed us for more than two decades now
You’re going to have differences In the interpretation because Lea as the voice of the character had the job of really driving the story and feelings of the character with her voice which is STUNNING.
Christina had the job of creating a version that would be suited for radio play. Now 20 years later I love the strength that comes through in her vocals. It’s like a battle cry whereas the original version had that innocence as you do when you’re 17.
3 great singers. Different attacks. But nothing beats the original. Lea Salonga sang it better.
Antoinette Escueta...
Lea & Christina is the original ..
Lea - Disney
Christina - pop. They both owned the song.
Like A whole New World..
Lea- Disney
Kane- pop
Antoinette Escueta. 3 singers. It should be best. Not better. Use better if you only have 2 subjects.
. Very AGREE!!!!
Christina all the way for me cuz it was more powerful! 😍😍
Christina definitely sings it the best hence Christina version matters the most Christina version is the most superior !!!!!
lea mixes with emotions, a soul touching song ,thats make her different to other 2 singers
Why did I get goosebumps when Leah sang💕💕
Hhahahaha i yelled yaaasss!! When you said "She's a Disney princess"!😅 Yaaass gurl she is! The legendary!

*DIANA* *ANKUDINOVA* is too good to have just one reaction! (a year ago you made a reaction to "Wicked Game" and were quite surprised by the talent of the young singer!) Diana has a lot of songs that deserve close attention! I suggest making reactions to great ones: "Human", "Rechenka", "Blizzard" and others.
1000000%!!!🔥🔥🔥🎤🎤🎤🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶
Lea embodied the song. You feel her emotions and you know she is selling a story.
Lea's voice is crystal clear , tells a story with emotions where the listener also attentively listens and it's classical where all generations will surely love it. Vanessa's voice is also great but husky and strong and can depict the voice of a warrior princess.
Christina's RATHER❤
I still get goosebumps hearing Lea Salonga's version 🥰
Haha you like the older version by Lea but her version is steriotyped
I can feel Leah's power in the song more than the two.
For me i still go with Lea Salonga ,especially in her younger days...they are all good and great but its just the original is irreplaceble
There r original that cover or new version is better than d original but Lea Salonga is 😊 one of a kind when it comes to musical or in theater😁
Christina is also the original.
But you cannot campare her to other genre of music, coz shes from musical, thats differnt... compare her to other musical singer.... thats how comparing things baby
@@marianrivera4980 yep..sorry if i made you feel that way.thats why i edited and add some of my comment.😁
Xtina is only the new version but no one can replace the real original singer in this song none other than lea salonga indeed period🌑
@@bugoyayu1410 xtina sang the pop version of this in 90's so her version is also original. Just like Let It Go having pop and musical version.
Christina Aguilera gave us a full circle for the Pop version of Reflection. From self searching to theme of empowerment.
nothings compare to original version
Lea's voice is clear, powerful and magical😊
Katrina and Christina were not played completely but Lea was played full in powerful voice crystal clear and solid
Lea is the truly the one. She has a gift with a high pitch that is 100% crystal clear voice
that is very rare
Crazyyy cover katrina!!! Replaying her version a hundred times over.
The fact that you aligned katrina to these two legends make me so happy.
More power to you maam. ♥️
And she was schooled. She's not on their level.
@@aeshiryzenaeschirett5415 Xtina's voice has been long gone. And even in her prime she mostly strains live 🙄. Her growls, riffs and runs doesn't make her a better technical singer than Katrina.
Level? Hahahaha
Xtina "the beast" trully master the balance of all her elements in her redo of the song, the energy, the climax, the distinct vocal control are all just magnificent!!!
Lea's voice is magical..
Whenever you put Lea in a comparisson, you just know that nobody can get to her level. It's Lea Salonga...
I'm with you. Christina made me feel something. I felt chills and also got emotional. She tells the story and builds with magnificence.
Biottom line when you hear a note or tune of "reflections"specially in the live action 2020 version score, everyone gets emotional as it immediately reminds you of the animated film the unforgetable iconic song by none other than the ORIGINAL Lea Salonga.
into the first movie. yes. cos she was the cute little princess. now she is a damned warrior :)
I love watching your reactions and your body language during these videos, it's like you go on a whole ass ride through the song, it's amazingggg keep up the good work gurlll
I love Lea's version. A true princess' voice..more theatrical and cristal clear and so good to my ears ❤️
One point of reference here I'd like to make. Yes, Lea's style is reflected by her experience on Broadway, but her delivery is true Mulan. Hers is the voice of the character. Christina and Katrina are tributes to the film. All three are integral on the whole, but that would be the binding quality in my mind.
All three are beautiful in their own right. Three incredible versions. Lea is perfection, Christina emotional, and Katrina amazing. 🌹🌹🌹
Whenever i hear lea sing i feel a little bad for my self not being able to do perfect pitch singing. Im a singer and people tells me i sound good. But whenever I hear lea i was like wtf im not yet there lol....
My thoughts,
Christina for the Voice and Power
Leah for Emotions and Clarity
Katrina for Control
Agree
Great comment!! They are all different, unique and amazing singers. Ppl should stop comparing. There is no comparisons.
Control for the voice, power, emotions and clarity rather ☺
All three are fantastic but Lea is straight up the G.O.A.T. She just hits it right as the scene needed it every time and it hits you right in the heart.
Lea Salonga’s version makes you reminisce the whole story of the animated mulan. It’s magical! ✨
LEA SALONGA won since she sang in LIVE. Not recorded. Not studion version. Live.
And she's the original Jasmin 😊
Leah- Emotion and Crystal Clear Voice
Katrina- lung power, runs and riffs
Christina- powerful voice
Queens 🥰😍
Leah and Xtina only. Katrina whatever is a peasant.
@@aeshiryzenaeschirett5415 if you don't like her then just keep your mouth shut.. I love all of them and if you cant respect that fuck off !
Lea was the actual singing voice for the original animated movie. And I really liked that version more than the sound track played in the credits.
It's Lea hands down. The other two are "belters" while Lea's voice lends itself to the true spirit of the song.
@Ella De Castro Only among Filipinos really.
To the OP--they are both good for different reasons. One is not better than the other. Lea's is soft, vulnerable as the scene in the film shows while Christina's is powerful, assertive which for the end of the film is a feel good quality.
You compared the 3 singers by using the official ost of Christina and Katrina yet you used a regular video clip for Lea...
Hehe yeah! But hey, for most... Lea Salonga still stands out😊
But, they're all excellent in their own way of singing.
It didn't bother me honestly though because Lea's version is already legendary.
This only highlights Ms Salongas talent
Imagine Christina and Katrina play in a regular clip without digital production. Lea does not need such kind to impress everybody because she is pure and original.
KATRINA ADDED SOME FLAVORS AND IT'S FIREE 🔥
I agree
Fire & annoyances
I love her version. She has her own style and technique. Although, she was known as a "belter and powerful voice". You can still feel the emotion, a lot of control, way better to Christina.
I agree because hundred percent lagi akong present sa lahat ng concert nya😁😌
lea salonga is like one of the greatest classically trained singers alive christina anguilera is a pop artist and the vid u watched of her wasnt live
I thought you're not going to react on Katrina Velarde's Mulan's OST (Reflection) ❤️😍. I waited this for weeks😁 Thank you idol😘
Christina's new rendition of the song is a lot better than when she first sang it. I don't think we should compare it to Lea.
Christina better !!!!!
of course lea owns the song
Lea is the best of all. She was the original who sang reflection way back 2000s.
So flattering that Katrina is compared to Lea and Christina! She took the spotlight, bcoz she is the now. A fiercer version of Reflection. Nice reactions ❤
Watch Katrina's Go the Distance cover and performance during her concert.
She’s the now? Where? Huh? Lol
Katrina is the shitiest of them all
next time u better shoot the guy with no cat
Talangkang kanal spotted 😂😂😂😂😂 mga alagad ni Sotero is in the house 😂😂😂😂😂
Everyone did excellently! I loved the fact you didn’t pick which one is better because everyone has something to bring to the table but YES! Christinaaaaa! ❤️
my fave is lea’s version, the most simple but the most pure. ❤️
Hands down Katrina with her light, feel-good, and more contemporary style with lots of vocal acrobatics.
Yes I agree with you, that's what I was thinking too. Katrina is a combination of Cristina and Leah
Omg! Lea's Reflection was so Emotional! Like yuh. She's a 2x princess.
Thanks for reacting to this cover.they are both good but nothing beats the original which is Lea salonga.who sang the original version of that song.
Its Lea 4 me!!!
Thats why she's the Disney Princess because her voice just projects like that.... its so magical n moves u ✨
❤
Katrina's is good too 👍👍
All are beautiful! Leah’s and Xtina’s versions are totally different and hard to compare. They give different feelings but both gets very deep. Leah’s this nostalgic & very emotional and Xtina’s this warrior anthem & perfect work of art . Katrina’s brilliant too.
