  • Join me for a walking tour of the unique landscape in County Waterford, that is The Cunnigar. It's one of the most unspoilt places on Ireland's South Coast.

Beautiful. We have been on the Cunnigar in 2016. Thank you for taking us back there and providing new insight.

Beautiful video of the Cunnigar. I remember the days when we used to take a boat across from the lookout to the cunnigar. If you are ever in Dungarvan go out the Cork road and follow the signs to Helvick and watch out for the turn off on the left side and follow the twisted road to the car park

Kenneally's, who had a Bus Company (maybe still have??) used to run a ferry out there on Summer afternoons, for just a few pennies in the 50's. Getting back on the last ferry was always a problem, as you had an awful long walk home, if Mr Kenneally left without you (or, so I'm told😜😜!

My dad said there was a ferry at the end when he was a boy to take you into Dungarvan town and there was also a house there many years ago

My mum in the 40's would go there for picnics, they would be rowed across for a penny.
