I've spent many hours wandering around Ireland completely lost and loved every single moment of it . I remember seeing Glendalough for the first time , gazing out into the vast lake wandering if viking ships would be coming round the cliff side .
This is the best video I've seen and explains everything so well. Planing my first trip to Dublin in March but want to get out of the city for a day. I've decided I'm going to do this walk. I don't have a car so I'm going to take a St Kevin's bus which takes two hours but I have 4 hours to spend before bus goes back. Thanks for the detailed description
4 hours is not enough for this walk. St Kevins will bring you to another car park which is about 20/30 minutes from the start of the trail. The trail will take at least 3.5 hours.

The video needs an update...the trail up to the view point has now changed and the view point is bigger and fenced off!!
