I always hated how his face was drawn in the hush comic, and so I really dislike his head sculpt on this. I want a classic Superman with a head sculpt that looks like he came from the eightees reboot, like during Dan Jurgens timeline or era. I might get it and swap heads with my Rebirth Superman. That would probably actually look great
@@jimboscustomsI think the head from Action comics #1000 is very similar to Dan Jurgens. I like it so much. The Kitbash with Torso, cape and head from action comics #1000 + Abdomen, arms, trunks and legs from Hush Superman is Perfect!
I'm happy with my superman. The 1rst superman that McFarlane put out is still the best except for the hands. I'm glad that the s is on the cape. I like the little bit of extra bulk on the body. He fits nicely with my batman, which is really cool.
I really like the Hush Superman figure; he has bulk, but not too much, and he’s in his classic outfit - I have a number of Supes figures and like them all, but in my collection only this one ticks ALL the boxes: the colours are just right, and in a first form my collection at least, he has the shield logo on his cape. I think the head sculpt is fine, my only nitpick overall is the slightly dull cast to the flesh tones, which I would have preferred to be a slightly healthier hue. IMHO McFarlane will have to go some to beat this.
I'm thinking of getting the hush one and selling my AC 1000 Superman even though I like the headsculpt and skintone of it more. I can sell it for twice the price here. What do you think?
Personally I would keep it, and have both the action comics one has a nice top half, so you could maybe do a kitbash? I did a video on one i made a while back. Your kit bash looks great but the body is not well-proportioned.. his body is slightly long.and the new superman looks pale. His head is lowered that why he looks like he has a short neck
I don’t like the pasty skin tone, the lack of definition in the face, and those STUPID capes swept to the side. But, I picked up this figure, anyway. 😂

By ittself, it's fine. But next to other figures, especially Hush Batman, Hus Superman is too short.
your custom superman will look better if it got the s emblem of this hush superman.
