Avatar 3 will be better than the way of water and just as good as the first one. 3 hours and 12 minutes of popcorn entertainment, going to have to go back for refills
That the runtime is about equal to the Way of Water, is not news, I thought you were going to give us an exact runtime. The more interesting question is: Will we get an extended version of the Way Of Water before part 3 arrives. At one point, part 3 was like 5 or 6 hours long, so there's also a lot of potential for an extended edition... and Cameron has hinted at extended versions earlier in a conversation with Denis Villeneuve. I'm surprised we haven't heard anything yet about Way of Water extended cut for digital/ streaming release.
I understand why the first Avatar was popular, cause of the amazing CGI for the time. I kind of understand why the second movie was popular, cause it was the sequel to the first one, the cgi wasnt anything special. I won’t understand why this third movie will be popular

@kenbozu1 Cameron is still the creator of the I.P.. Unless a person is both the writer and director, the director is bound by the script and only visually determines what a scene looks like (from a camera / audience perspective). A producer coordinates all of the production departments. Just because Cameron didn’t visually control the look of the film via camera angles, it doesn’t mean that he wasn’t highly involved with the process of making the film. Writers create content.
