Some of them stayed alive in the sewol ferry for two days their parents said that they received messages even after two days from announcing the sewol started sinking it was heartbreaking because I watched the diving bell documentary there was volunteers who wanted to dive in and check if there was any alive students there and there was a high possibility that there might be alive ones coz the air was trapped in the boat and in the inside it was nt completely overwhelmed by water Rip sewol ferry students it was such a sad accident

So many people in the comments don't even realize it was an inside job. The whole thing was planned. The ship was already over weight before they put passengers on it. Also, the captain and it's crew were just puppets. They were instructed not to save them because they were a sacrifice. Even during the chatter on the comms that day between a crewman and the civilian rescuers...they told them that the cabin was empty already. And the rescuer asked him if he was sure and he said,"yes, yes.". They never intended to save them. The government even denied rescue efforts from the U.S. and Japan. Even though they were right there and willing to assist. Park Guen-hye was the president at the time and she was close with Choi Soon-sil, whose father was the leader of a shamanistic cult. He had influence over both of them. His name was Choi Tae-min. Feel free to look those names up and see for yourself. Park didn't even respond until after it happened and later on the news said they were a "noble sacrifice". All their government was instructed to do was to send a helicopter to film the thing. You can find the video on youtube with comms from the rescuers. They were all cult members and Tae-min was considered to be like a Rasputin. The captain and crew weren't really responsible, they were simply puppets. I know it sounds crazy and I'm usually not one for conspiracy theories...but to me this one is believable. Everything seems to point at it being an inside job, influenced by cultish government officials. Park thought it would bring Tae-min back, since he basically claimed to be a God. That sacrificing a bunch of people would bring him back. Go ahead and believe the official story if you want but I've already seen and heard enough about it to know that shit doesn't add up. And now Park and Soon-sil are in prison. Part of it having to do with the discovered influence from Tae-min. There are articles and videos on here that support that theory. Saving them was 100% possible. The only people to respond to the scene were civilians, which they can't really stop. But they did stop professionals from trying to rescue them and the navies of Japan and the U.S.. Also, very rarely does this ever happen where a captain and it's crew leave the ship first without really helping it's passengers first. You'd be hard pressed to find another incident like that in history at all. They knew good and well how many people were on the ship...and they left them and denied to the rescuers that there wasn't even anybody left in the cabins...when there were hundreds in there. If that doesn't leave you scratching your head, I don't know what will. This shit has inside job written all over it. A shame that more people don't realize it. ruclips.net/video/zfEk8rYQtEo/видео.html
I honestly thought so too. And by reading your comment, it really does makes sense. I've seen the video where the crew denied that there no more passengers inside the cabins. The conversation between the rescuers and crew were really messed up. They were like "Yo, act cool. The president's watching" when Park went there to "investigate" the ship. I also thought it had something a dark political motive behind it because ministers and officials were really trying so damn hard to cover something up. It was so obvious when they speak in public.
There’s a lot that makes sense with that, but why would anyone risk prison time?? I mean are they that crazy? And how could they have so many hands involved to pull something so elaborate off?
I read on wiki page that captain and the crews were not the full-time sewol captain/crews. They got replaced by others. The real captain has been replaced because he warn his boss about the sewol bad condition or something like that. Its means that several people's knew about sewol actual condition but still proceed their journey to Jeju. Poor souls has been sacrifice because of their greed. I can't even imagine die in such terrified situation.

Imagine sinking with your family not knowing your 4 year old daughter got out on her own and survived, while everyone else in your family died. Terribly tragic
The ferry should have never even left the shore. Like the titanic it was reported to not have enough lifeboats for all of its passengers. And all the members of the crew on board should be ashamed of themselves saving there lives even though there was enough time to rescue other passengers. The government also was completely messed up the US marines were also in the area willing to help with the search and rescue of the passengers but the government had refused them. Than it was left as a cold case for like 4-5 years until they brought the ship back up. All the volunteering divers that aided in the rescue were told that they had to stop diving for the passengers that might have still been onboard the sunken ship. Seriously this sort of tragedy should have been handled much better than it was.
Sorry to oppose but all of the passengers had their life jackets on. It was possible for them to survive and escape. But the fucking idiot crew told them to stay still.
Same thing happened in the Twin Towers collapse. They were told to stay at their desks. Even the ones near the exit were blocked by security and told to go back inside.
I found about this incidence last day... I can't stop thinking about these innocent kids! If it can effect a stranger so much, imagine what the parents must be feeling. I cannot imagine such positive, intelligent, beautiful young people had to meet such an unfortunate death... What a shame! 💔
This is way more worse than Titanic. Atleast in titanic the captain stayed in the ship & they were grown-ups! These were school kids and their captain left them.
Everybody understands the fustration of the parents who lost their sons and daughters, spent years with them and then just loosing them. Instead the captain just said "sorry" after killing hundreds.
I can't describe how much i hate this captain, I started crying when i saw the last clips from the students, if he wasn't so selfish everybody could been alive now And I feel so sorry for the little girl who lost her family :(
For god's sake!!! Most of the students were my current age... 18!!! I can't imagine what it would be like to lose my best friends like that. Cause I think drowning is one of the worst deaths. You know what's happening and you can't escape!!! I pray for them to rest in peace wherever they are now!!! And my deepest condolences to the victims families!!🙏😞
Tbh this tragedy is a perfect example of don’t do something just because a whole bunch of people are doing it,follow ur instinct or something like that😿
My korean husband told me about this tragedy when we met and i couldnt stop crying because of how horrific it sounded and seeing all the old reports, images, interviews,.... breaks my heart even more.
There’s a little video of a victim with his mom it started off when he was young then slowly turned into a handsome boy his name is Kim Donghyun I really hope he made it and the other students to I feel so sad that there’s a bunch of families missing their son and daughters 😭❤️
That 6 year old.. It's so devastating. There are videos that the students took in their rooms, and I'm pretty sure the little kid in one of them was her, since there was no parent and a female student was talking to her. It is so sad..
Legit, in that one kid that would have been telling people we need to get out. If the ship is sinking, get somewhere where you wont be trapped... some of these kids telling each other to put on live vests... trying to keep each other calm... they had most sense then the captain and crew.
Omg I can't even watch this it's to tragic for me becuse my brother's birthday is on the day and I just don't want to celebrate but just cry for them angles RIP 😭💜💜💜
The older bro told his younger sibling to wait for help n instructions @1:21? I would have told my younger siblings to trust their guts and do whatever they can to escape even if it means "disobedience" to stay put. I feel so strongly about this tragedy because I have younger siblings of similar ages to the victims and I just can't imagine losing them this way.. This is really sad.
The captain of this ship should be called CRIMINAL! imagine saying stay in the ship to save your lives and you being rescued while the students are doing everything so they all could survive you know? The captain of the Titanic saved a lot of lives and he even went down with his ship as a tradition my heart still aches 😢🎗️
The crew sealed their deaths when told to say put. Once they did tell them to abandon it was too late as the ships stairways and hallways were impossible to get out because it was too far tilted. A maritime expert said if they tried to abandon ship when the crew did there would have been a lot more survivors even if they were in the water waiting for fishing boats to pick them up. The crew announced for them to say put and seconds later they left the ship. Cowards!!!
i can’t believe some families feel guilt because they said just follow directions and stay safe….while in the end students were told to stay in one place and do not move until told so. they failed at saving those students lives
There were a recent incident in bangladesh...where ferry caught on fire...and the captain and the crew fled from ferry....300+ people were died by burning in ferry ..and 50+ people died by jumping in the water. .
don't they have those little boats that has air in it? just in case if something bad happens? why didn't they just let the students out especially since there are life vests in them anyways?

It's just reminded me I never told my grandma that I love her before her last breath due to some stupid embarrassing. It's so hurt and sad at the same time. May everyone who gone be in peace and have better life in their next life.
He survived too!!
That 6 yrs old Little girl who was saved. Her dad, mom and older brother was left in the ferry. I saw a video about her, she is now living with her aunt and uncle and she was bullied by her classmates because she doesn’t have a mom nor a dad. It was a long a time ago when i watched the video but i believe she changed her name because of what happened.
Its really devastating losing both parents and a sibling. Today, that little girl must be 11 or 12 and i hope she’s doing fine now and have moved on with this. ❤️🙏
All these individual stories make it so tragic and harrowing. I hope that young girl has a support system now.
I remember our 2nd-grade teacher telling us this story..it was so sad. I am in 6th grade heading to 7th now, realizing this was the story she was telling.
Same , I was in 2nd grade when it happened . Now I'm in 8th
@@rustybookshelf8566 poor me saying im heading into 7th never knew my life was gonna go downhill 😂😂, but same I'm in 8th
jojo ohh I miss 8th grade, well if you don’t mind me asking, how was it?
@@ru_hxxpy if you are talking bout 8th. 8th grade was pretty chill, probably the best grade for me in middle school. most of the teachers were nice besides social studies, best schedule too, the block times were all so spaced out making it feel like the day is short.
i'm now 5th grade heading to 6th grade. i am still 10 but this hurts me. the stupid fucxxxx asshole captain said to not panic and he left. i hope he rots in hell.
Whats even more said is the 6 year old girl only survived because her brother who was a year older than her gave her his life jacket 🥺
Remember , when your life is in danger , only listen to two people, yourself and your parents if they are around you. Don't listen to strangers or even friends or captains
That's right
"Do as you are told"
I bet he'll regret that for the rest of his life
I used to read a comment from a Korean. He said: after 1 day when The ferry sank, most of student were still Alived. The students tried to message to their family to help them out. I cant imagine that Atmosphere they have suffered, around them all dark, scream, water and cold. Disgusting. R. I. P all angles
Love from Vietnam 🇻🇳
I can feel the anxiousness seeing your friends being rescued and just being there and wanting to be one of them. Rest in peace 🕊️
Some of them stayed alive in the sewol ferry for two days their parents said that they received messages even after two days from announcing the sewol started sinking it was heartbreaking because I watched the diving bell documentary there was volunteers who wanted to dive in and check if there was any alive students there and there was a high possibility that there might be alive ones coz the air was trapped in the boat and in the inside it was nt completely overwhelmed by water
Rip sewol ferry students it was such a sad accident
no, if you watch the other documentary, it says the ship wasn't constructed that way to have air bubbles. they died very fast afer the sinking I think
@@glowfly1000 no, i think i also read somewhere that a bunch of girls also made facebook posts and sent messages asking for help and they stayed alive for 1-2 days i think. the parents showed the posts and asked for help but the govt just said they were pranks. all the passengers of the ferry were supposed to be a sacrifice. the government never intended to save them in the first place
@@priyanshishukla6499 that's just horrifying, so they did that underwater? I can't Even Imagine the feeling, from what I know, they only went back 3 months later to retrieve the body, that too, the civilian divers, not the government.

yea, see this? something clearly isn't adding up here.
@@dazvshi1585 i also saw someone say that a guy actually tried to help using diving bell. but some people tried to sabotage him and stop him from helping them. apparently the govt also deleted some footage from the children's phones before giving it to the parents
The fact they all helped each other is the only thing that makes me happy
The fact one man saved over 20 people is amazing.
This makes me so angry that they didn’t care about anyone but themselves those poor children listening to the adults ended up dead, it breaks my heart , Thankyou soo much to those who helped rescue victims, I hope those who died are at peace my love goes out to all the families who lost someone in this incident ❤️❤️
This is why sometimes i don't wanna listen to adults

I hate the "stay still" word
"mom, just in case I don't have onather chance to say it, I love you".
😭😭😭.
This made me cry a lot.
RIP I'm not Korean but I can feel what they feel there
"Mom, just in case I don't have a chance to say it, I love you." The first time I read that message it broke my heart
And the fact that those people who followed the instructions died and those people who not lived. RIP ANGELS
"I love you, mom." was too painful 😭
In the app that they originally used to text, the tiny 1 next to the message means it hasnt been read.
Seeing so much 1s next to the desperate texts that their parents sent was just chilling
Literal tears seeing those messages, cant imagine what their families went through
So many people in the comments don't even realize it was an inside job.
And how could they have so many hands involved to pull something so elaborate off?
there was no video when i clicked on the link. they took it down
I've heard about that as well... Those innocent lives 😭😭
The captain should be the last one off the ship in any situation. He’s responsible for every single passenger.
i just graduated from college then youtube just recommended me a lot of videos of sewol .
Same here. I was remember at time (0416) . I was trip with family on third day of new year ( Cambodia's new year ) and i checked my phone The Breaking News come out from allkpop page .
I know it's two years late but congrats, what program did you do? I'm in college right now. I hope to become a film director.
It’s a miracle that 6 year old little girl lived. I hope she; and the rest of the survivors; are doing ok.
In case.... I love you 😭😭😭😭😭
It hurts my heart 😭😭
I cry at that moment😭😭😭
I feel so pity for the 6 years old girl who lost her family, I hope everyone who were servived there is doing so well and I hope they have get the hell out of this trauma...
10 years passed and I am still hurting for the parents. God bless them. I know parents who never recovered from losing their child.
Obedient to a fault. Always try to save yourself if you can.
I pray for strength for all the families affected by this tragedy. so many wishes. these innocent babies never deserved this.
Rest in peace.
Sleep tight, much love for the victims from Italy
I suddenly cried reading the texts messages :(( Fly high angels
everyone else should’ve done the same as the boy who just jumped into the water... it breaks my heart😥💔 if they didn’t tell them to fk stay and not move bc it’s dangerous but told them to jump instead, many would’ve been alive rn...
Ive read somewhere and alot of people told me that the president at the time was in some kind of after life cult or something and he purposely deneid help from other countries and let the kids die as a "Sacrifice"
And the the kids didnt jump becuase they really trusted the captain
But later they found out he jumped out and left them but the boat was too tilted for them to do anything by themselves anymore
there were no adults all of the crew jumped off
I just cant watch one of theese videos without crying and thoose videos by the boys they were trying so hard to stay possitive even though they knew they were gonna die😭😭😭😭😭❤❤❤❤❤I just cantt😭😭😭

My tears won't stop falling as I watch this report 6 years after
This is heartbreaking
Also the ferry was holding 3 TIMES the allowed weight of cargo
It's because the captain told one of the crew members to steer even though it was her first time so she didn't know
there are no fucking lifeboats on a ferry nigga
us marine is NOT CAPABLE of salvage missions
Sorry to oppose but all of the passengers had their life jackets on. It was possible for them to survive and escape. But the fucking idiot crew told them to stay still.
I didn’t Know about this sewol ferry. When i watched the theory of Spring Day MV I literally started to cry.RIP those who died
“Mom, just incase I don’t have the chance to say it, I love you.”
Same thing happened in the Twin Towers collapse. They were told to stay at their desks. Even the ones near the exit were blocked by security and told to go back inside.
still breaks my heart. RIP to all victims, you will not be forgotten!
This was murder. Telling people to stay below deck when the ship is sinking, yeah sure.
Somebody make every captain watch 'Neerja' so that if they ever come across a situation like this they don't act dumb!
I found about this incidence last day... I can't stop thinking about these innocent kids! If it can effect a stranger so much, imagine what the parents must be feeling. I cannot imagine such positive, intelligent, beautiful young people had to meet such an unfortunate death... What a shame! 💔
Moral of the story : always get the Fuck out of sinking ships without listening to selfish cowardly crews
This is literally hurting my head right now i couldn't help but cry...they must have been so teriffied to death.
This is way more worse than Titanic. Atleast in titanic the captain stayed in the ship & they were grown-ups! These were school kids and their captain left them.
Some of the passengers in the titanic were children and some of the passengers on the sewol were adults
Never understood the moral principle according to which adults are more disposable than children...
When a ship is sinking or a plane is crashing the pilot will ALWAYS be the last to leave and not the first
Everybody understands the fustration of the parents who lost their sons and daughters, spent years with them and then just loosing them. Instead the captain just said "sorry" after killing hundreds.
As a mum myself this breaks my heart 😭😭😭😭😭😭💔💔💔💔💔🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊
I can't describe how much i hate this captain, I started crying when i saw the last clips from the students, if he wasn't so selfish everybody could been alive now
And I feel so sorry for the little girl who lost her family :(

That 6 year old should be my age by now, I wonder how she's doing...
This news and the covid 19 makes me depressed Rest In Peace to all the loss lives
So heartbreaking 😫😫
There’s a little video of a victim with his mom it started off when he was young then slowly turned into a handsome boy his name is Kim Donghyun I really hope he made it and the other students to I feel so sad that there’s a bunch of families missing their son and daughters 😭❤️
That 6 year old.. It's so devastating. There are videos that the students took in their rooms, and I'm pretty sure the little kid in one of them was her, since there was no parent and a female student was talking to her. It is so sad..
Me and that 6 year old are literally the same age now. It hurts.
Legit, in that one kid that would have been telling people we need to get out. If the ship is sinking, get somewhere where you wont be trapped... some of these kids telling each other to put on live vests... trying to keep each other calm... they had most sense then the captain and crew.
I just hate that captain
How can he do this to the innocent souls
I am so heartbroken
May rest in peace for poor souls
Omg I can't even watch this it's to tragic for me becuse my brother's birthday is on the day and I just don't want to celebrate but just cry for them angles RIP 😭💜💜💜
The older bro told his younger sibling to wait for help n instructions @1:21? I would have told my younger siblings to trust their guts and do whatever they can to escape even if it means "disobedience" to stay put. I feel so strongly about this tragedy because I have younger siblings of similar ages to the victims and I just can't imagine losing them this way.. This is really sad.
They trusted the authorities to much. Poor souls :(. We lost so many dreams.
This still break my heart ㅠㅠ
The crew sealed their deaths when told to say put. Once they did tell them to abandon it was too late as the ships stairways and hallways were impossible to get out because it was too far tilted. A maritime expert said if they tried to abandon ship when the crew did there would have been a lot more survivors even if they were in the water waiting for fishing boats to pick them up. The crew announced for them to say put and seconds later they left the ship. Cowards!!!
"mom, just incase I dont have a chance to say it, Iloveyou" this so heartbreaking 🥺
i can’t believe some families feel guilt because they said just follow directions and stay safe….while in the end students were told to stay in one place and do not move until told so. they failed at saving those students lives
There were a recent incident in bangladesh...where ferry caught on fire...and the captain and the crew fled from ferry....300+ people were died by burning in ferry ..and 50+ people died by jumping in the water. .
Don’t stay inside burning house,
Don’t stay inside sinking ship.

The captain just had to tell the children to get outside. Just once. They could have survived.
don't they have those little boats that has air in it? just in case if something bad happens? why didn't they just let the students out especially since there are life vests in them anyways?
