- This is my 150 Day Journey of finding, buying, and keeping the only Red-headed Krait in the entire country. Her name is Kraity Perry and she is a highly venomous snake. Skibidy or whatever. #reptiles #venomoussnakes #pets #rareanimals
Kraity Perry: “Do you ever feel like a plastic bag?”
😂😂😂😂.
Bruh 😑
🤣🤣🤣😭
❤
I appreciate so much how you showcase these amazing animals without ridiculous grandstanding and stunts. Your snakes are lovely, and clearly receiving the very best of care. Kudos all around!
stunning. never thought i'd watch an animal wolf down something a significant portion of its own size and think to myself "awwwwww, cutie pie."
i mean there’s no shortage of ball pythons out there
@@janemf i'm aware. i stand by my statement.
If you ever get another krait, you should name it Krait Winslet.
LOL
Krait Beckinsdale
Her patterns are lovely! What a beauty! She GLOWS!
And that's from someone who is phobic.
You-you know you don’t have to call yourself phobic over snakes right?
What a chill snake. I mean she got the demeanor of a python she’s so relaxed…that’s probably because she knows she’s all kinds of beautiful and drama is just not how she vibes. In all seriousness, that is a stunning creature and I wish you and her a long healthy relationship.
> she got the demeanor of a python
Well you know they say, you are what you eat!
I had been enjoying the Kraity Perry photos you had been posting, so it’s nice to see the backstory now.
OMG THE COLOR AFTER THE SHED 😍 😊
her name is Kraity Perry??? 😭
Of course it is. They look so much alike!
The only times I see red headed kraits in RUclips has been RupertsReptiles and DavidsFeed videos as they catch wild ones in Thailand.
Kraits are shaped like a Toblerone! 😂
Kraity Perry was trying to take a selfie and no one can convince me otherwise
this is spectacular, massive congratulations!!!!
We need a full lil man video! Love Kratey Oerry!
i love this guys content but HOW TF does he have this Beautiful illusive snake before chandler is even able to show or own one on his channel lol there is no hate in this ive been working with these creatures for over 11 years im super proud to know that this was successful and i know how much money and time this took much love and good luck i cant wait to see the future.
Lol I like to think he called 5 minutes before one of Chandler's people did
Joey: this snake is my favorite
Me: *GASPS* JOEY YOU HAVE FAVORITE CHILDREN?!
i’m so glad u started making more longer videos i love your shorts
Love this video! 🐍
always an amazing animal man, love seeing her
Watching you go from no snow to snow.... it makes me want to leave michigan lol
Really wish there was more long-form content!
That is so awesome keep up the good work you are a really good RUclipsr 😁
I've kept these in the past. Most don't do well long term but it's possible to land on a good one. They come up for sale once in a while, if you are looking for them. I don't know how many are in private collections in the US. Not everybody makes RUclips videos.
"Kraity Perry has easily become my favorite snake."
I hope Steve didn't hear that.
Almost to 500K!!!
I remember watching that stream and it was my first sub live!
I bet Chandlers Wildlife is jealous AF of you having this beauty!
She's eating and surviving which is amazing, but I still can't get my African black house snake to eat 😔😞😢
Super cool animal just recently got back into the hobby with a Nile monitor and set up a freshwater and saltwater aquarium as well.
Dont get kissed ....thats the kiss of death ...😂
How is the one and only? Did the parents die? Was it only one egg born? What was the price?
Most likely wild caught, even for the pet trade a snake like this is rare and dangerous enough that people wouldn’t trade it like Cobras, which are more abundant.
Illegal smuggled wild caught, probably. Like the rest of them. They really aren't *that* rare among exotic traders.
It's a "least concern" species with wild populations in Southeast Asia. It's probably difficulty with capturing/exporting/importing/keeping them alive (they aren't illegal to import at the federal level AFAICT, from a few minutes of reading)
where do you get a steady supply of dead ball pythons though
You’ll have to get them shipped from a breeder as with most live food. Ball python would likely be more expensive than mice or frogs though
Those aren’t ball pythons, but invasive Burmese python. They’re everywhere in Florida
@@seansingh4421that’s very clearly a ball python it’s eating.
@@seansingh4421incorrect Burmese Python hatchlings are much larger even newborns which that one clearly wasn't. Not to mention the pattern was not consistent with Burmese Pythons
@@midnightsan9917No, that’s a ball python.
I follow you on tik Tok as Monica and this is the 1st time I've seen your face. 😂
Can you do a video where you show all you’re pets
As a ball python owner; hey wtf man :(
Snake shed makes me think forbidden chips nommmmm
She’s gorgeous
what causes scale rot? I have never even heard of it before
I'm pretty sure it's from it being a little to moist in the enclosure...
Excessive moisture. These snakes come from a very moist/humid climate, so it's very hard to get their needs exactly perfect.
@@Callmethelamp that's what I was about to get back and say. That with it being the only one in the country you're learning as you go with such a rare snake, and because of that maybe more people will be able to get these snakes. They are definitely beautiful.
@Callmethelamp oh so just classic reptile finicky issues. I assumed so but I really don't know very much about them. Thanks for replying though, love the snakes, especially the green boomslang
The toes!😭8:42
Crying because they're hot pink now
@@lisarupert689 😆
ngl, I'd have called her Ouroboros due to her diet
Wow that is a good looking snake not something I've ever said before
So what was she cost-wise?
If you get bit, probably an arm and a leg!
She's still in a dream, snake eater 🎵
Would love a long form video on Raptor!!
Are you in South Carolina?
You're not quite on Attenborough's level, but you're close
Congratulations on your new nope rope. May she live a long and healthy life! (Now you just need to find her a boyfriend.)
Finally i can watch this sorry but shorts r like the plague for me i am attempting to avoid them as much as possible but have been a fan im definitely subbing though if you post full videos.
Bro had to do a lil wiggle while eating
Are you like ash from Pokemon and youe goal just to "catch them all" 😂😂 like are you a snake advocate? Im so confused how one person levally scores these 😂 Because i want a black mamba and a piranha but im sure i cant get those unless im a deug dealer and know people like that lol
You can buy redbellies at pretty much any fish store, what are you talking about?
And you can buy Black Mambas just about everywhere!
Not surprisingly Bro is from OHIO! 😂😂
Where do you get the snakes to feed this lovely lady?
Congrats on getting her to thrive in captivity. Is it possible to find a male?
How did dude in Ohio get ahold of it? Because it’s illegal to keep venomous snakes in Ohio lol.
Permits
Real questions. How did a snake from SE Asia end up in a pet store in Ohio?! 😂
@@cbrindle91the pet trade, just like how any animal not from the US gets to the US to be sold
Krait beckinsale krait moss krait dees nuts
How much money did she cost
Hey, why is it that snakes that mainly prey on other snakes appear to have triangular body shapes?
How many arms and legs did you sale to buy one?
3. Of each
Bro that’s so sick how much did it cost
$69,420
800$
it’s time to get the other red headed snake. calliophis bivirgatus here we gooo
Regular people should not be allowed to own deadly animals like this.
You also should not be allowed to transport deadly animals like this out of their home country.
Utterly ridiculous to know I live and kids play around houses filled with deadly snakes and whatnot and you don't even know it.
One gets loose and it's death for anyone who comes upon it.
It was never a problem until you knew about it. Therefore, your newly perceived threat is not actually as threatening as you believe it to be. There are many restrictions when it comes to the importation and ownership of these animals, you don't just go to your local petsmart and grab one of the shelf.
Where are you in VA?
hoolllyyy they horse food down
Wow i live in ohio by satoo, thats crazy as fuck you drove 9 hours to go there. Lol. I was just there last week. Cool ass store. Hilarious ohio.
the fact that all you had to do to get her to eat is feed her her natural diet is just 😭😭😭
Danger noodle being eaten my another danger noodle what a circle of events.
YOURE FROM OHIO?? no wonder you collect venomous snakes bro, respect 😭
I see the green toes 👀
Hee hee hee, I see South of the Border, I hope Kraity Perry got to visit one of the corniest places on Earth.
Did the snake really cost $69,420 if so the seller is boss
If u get another, can u name it Krait Kardashian?
Yo Joey it’s me james!!!😊
I didn't know you are from parma
Yep
@@Callmethelamp hi from Uniontown (1 hour south of Cleveland)
How often does she eat a python?
It's awesome when the snake's are mellow in attitude 👌
What species of snake was that meal?
Ball python
You sound try to get in contact with someone else that has one so you can attempt to breed them
Why in the first clip did I think that was a gold fish
Pretty cool.. I’ll never understand why you venom guys go barefoot.. I wear a glove to move my King snake..
whata's in yo search history, boi?
Ferrari snake
Have you checked if anyone owns one in Canada or Latin America?
Could be the only one on the continent
Wait u go to brook park airport in Ohio to get ur snakes that fly over if u do my grand parents live by the air port
Okay, yes, pretty snake. And you say she is venomous, right? Then WHY are you barefooted when you’re handling her?? Omg!! She’s probably looking at your toes thinking, well, I could start eating him there….
🔥🔥🔥
what a beauty
@Callmethelamp will you be making longer videos instead of shorts?
It will hopefully be a mix of both going forward
I love how you paid so much money for a snake you weren't sure was going to be the color you want.
lol
Are your toe nails green?
Do you think she'd eat burmese pythons?
Probably juveniles, yea. Adults would probably be to girthy...
We can agree to disagree, Def not the most beautiful snake imo
I think the Blue insularis is the most beautiful, second would be the Green Bush Viper ❤
He looks like drake🥵
of COURSE you found the only red-headed krait in the country in Ohio
It's a magical place
Ohio has a thriving illegal exotic trade. My old boss used to be involved in it when it was more legal. He's just down to exotic mammals now, tho. Need a coatimundi?
She belongs in her native land. She is likely illegally wild-caught, which is so sad. After watching my wild caught Cuban Knight Anole die of sadness, I'll never buy anything but captive bred. Conserving wild animals in their natural habitat is the kindest way to go.
I lost my first ball python, Kevin, due to my parents forgetting to put the light bulb cover back on (custom built cage) and he wrapped himself up around it. He died as my parents were driving him to the vet, and I had gotten another one but it never really felt the same and I then bought a Burmese python but I honestly just don't care for pythons anymore (I mean I still love them just I don't feel the will to take care of them).
Did you feed it a ball python?! What the hell why?!
Frozen ball pythons seem to be the food of choice for captive snake eaters. Unless you're near the everglades and go out yoinking the Burmese pythons.
What's the chances of getting a male and selling these one day making a million bucks off the genetics lol
Free all my snakes locked up in a cage
Greetings. This snake is abundant in my place. Interested in buying the snake's mate??
The fake phone call added absolutely nothing to the video and was a bit of a turn-off for me...
It was a re-enactment but it was pretty much how it went down. I'm new to making these kinds of videos so your advice is appreciated and noted.
@Callmethelamp good deal. Thought it was great, otherwise and apologize for not saying so originally. Ball pythons are going to be an expensive feeding habit, so I wish you luck with that.
