Jake you are an amazing tutor! I took your photoshop/ Illustrator unleashed and After effects for video editors with school of motion and you taught me a lot. Looking forward to go through explainer camp as soon as I am comfortable with design.
Thank you Jake - Ima get this started in four days when my new M2 Ultra gets delivered - and I'm pretty sure I'll be interested to take your more comprehensive course shortly thereafter too!
Hi Jake, an exporting question for you - how do you export a video file (e.g. MP4) whilst maintaining the RGB colour values? So a clients brand colours are correct. Thanks.
This is a huge issue with video compression, and unfortunately not something I have an answer for. The problem is that every screen your video is viewed on is going to reproduce colors differently. Even some video players display cors differently. Every monitor, every phone, every TV displays colors differently, and there's no way to account for that. The best I can do is use their branding color hex values, working in srgb color mode in Ae, and hope for the best. I wish there were a better answer, but if you research this topic you'll find the same answer.
