Parents, I suggest you get there in the morning if you want a decent picture of your kids in front of Hogwarts. I went during off-season when it was f-freezing cold and it was still crowded. Consider this, it's seen as the "face" of Universal in the same way Disney fans associate Cinderella's castle with Walt Disney World. Therefore, if you approach the castle from Hogsmeade, do not expect it to be easy! I did the "rope drop" and made a beeline for the castle and was able to get a few decent pictures and selfies without anyone in the background! Oh, and if you make it that early, it's only a 10-15 minute wait to ride Harry Potter & the forbidden journey!
PS: forgot to mention, I went back later in the afternoon and even then, I was shocked by the size of the crowds. I wondered: did evveerryyyone drop what they were doing and run to the front of Hogwarts?!? Even the entry gate to the area around the Hippogriff roller coaster was crowded! I cannot imagine how tough this would be in the middle of June. 35:20 The bridge was also absolutely packed when I was there because it's the best place to get Hogwarts in the background for group photos.
Interestingly, the train itself was built in Switzerland. I was a bit letdown and was hoping a British brand would build it. I guess the Swiss were more willing to work with Universal to build it to their exact specifications. Having been to Switzerland, they do know plenty about trains and their train routes are some of the most beautiful I have ever seen.
I really want to go back but the timing is a problem. Epic Universal is scheduled to open next year. It will be one of the largest theme park expansions in US history. I'm shocked that the Wizarding World there will indeed have The Ministry of Magic. I can hardly wait. Have been saving up ever since I heard the theme park was going to be built.
This has to be the best tour! I was looking for one without voice over! Thank you❤️
GREAT VIDEO! I LOVE how you focus on small details while showing the macro

I just subbed ! Great channel
Like and a sub for actually showing the place and for NOT being another annoying "influencer"
I think they lost a great opportunity in not.making the greathall and courtyard. If they made another restaurant at great hall people would gone crazy
Does anyone know the name of the music they played at the Honeyduke @16:16
Owl 🦉 where is it at minute 1:41…? Near where in Hogsmeade?
THE CASTLE IS SO COOL!
What month was this recorded?
Nice I come here everyday on my holiday
7:29 this is almost like we are leaving London city to hogsmeade

THIS IS A GREAT TOUR!
Hopefully, I will go to Orlando, Florida this summer and go to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
Love this video! Can’t wait to go back!
