Those late 80s and then into the 90s things went off, when all those dudes developed into their primes you had so many Legends playing and competing in one era, it was unbelievable, Basketball reached its peak at both ends of the floor at that time.
1:19:45 song?
"Looks like Clark Kent, Rebounds Like Superman SHOOTS LIKE LOIS LANE"
HIlarous!!!
The golden age of the NBA 1980-1998
The league was stacked top to bottom
1979-1999 to me.
Those eras then the early 2000s till I’d say lebron leaving the cavs the nba went down obviously 80s 90s are the best but 2000s ball was pretty great too. But like I said when lebron finally got that ring with the cavs the whole nba changed to me after that with the super teams & all that.
1:19:45 song?
That was awesome!!! Hard to decide what my favorite part was. Hearing Steve Kerr say it's totally boss/bomb was hysterical.
I busted out laughing when reggie Miller said lil fella
1:19:45 song?
Enjoying every minute of this. 🏀😎
@MANCHESTER UNITED F.C Play FIFA on PS4 I even started liking HotSpurs because of how fun the game is. But if its not a highlight package on youtube I always fall asleep or just never finish English premium games. But when US team beat Spain for a qualifier I watch that whole game. Soccer would be more fun for me if USA international team had good players all out good athletes play different sports.

My favorite era of the NBA
Moses Malone, the most underrated multiple times mvp ever!!
Danilo Barbosa wer
RIP Moses Malone
Fo Fo Fo
And 6 time rebounding champion!
Ever
Best NBA Era Ever!
I always feel so happy when I see the video of Mcadoo after he finally got a chip.
Watching again for nostalgia
Same here I am watching this again, probably watch 90s after this too 😂

Thank You!!!...had been waiting to see this uploaded for a long time.
Mat Stevenson ,! N. N , , ,
I was today years old when I found out how Chocolate Thunder got that nickname
If Stevie gives you a nickname you’ve got to keep it
The '83 Sixers were one of the most dominant in NBA history, yet nobody talks about them being one of the all time great teams despite the fact they swept the Lakers in the Finals. Swept. The Lakers. They were much more than Doc and Moses. They had great role players on top of a great bench to go to.

I lived overseas during the 80s with the exception of 84-85. As a kid NBA wasn't available and basketball was still growing in Europe. I missed out on a lot. Probably 88-92 I was able tow watch some but we mostly watched taped delay college final fours we got sent to us.
"Damn you smell like garlic".
John Salley is the funniest dude.
Funny how no one mentions that phantom call on lambeir if it wasn't for that the pistons would have 3 peated.
Daniel Butcher bc nobody likes them man lol
@@danielbutcher8108 I mean. Pistons was a bitch too anyways. Serve them right.
"yeah don't get too close" 😅
man I wish I was a NBA Fan in the 80s, didn't add them until the 91 NBA Finals
Philly and Boston was the best rivalry in not just basketball but in sports in the 1980's, in my opinion.
Enjoying this
BOB LANIER and ARTIS are my favorite centers. And MOSES MALONE💯
RIP Moses Malone
RIP Dennis Johnson, Darryl Dawkins and Mark Eaton
yo man, buck lookin for you
*... yo i aint say nun about buck*
@M 😂😂😂
Bad Boys all the way! That was my fun years watching Detroit in Michigan
Man thanks for the upload really enjoyed this
Magic was the baddest man in the league at the time. Dude could throw those wizard like passes to anyone on the court whether they were open or not.
Thanks for uploading!!!
Spud Webb blew my mind. How could he make up that much space lol
HUauhuauhuah
About Kurt : "Looks like Clark Kent, rebounds like Superman and shoots like Lois Lane" - Great
Didn’t know Mchale was from same town as Bob Dylan. Pretty cool.
Bless you!
Three of my favorite 80's players are Sidney Moncrief, Darryl Dawkins & Moses Malone.
Good taste
1:19:45 song?
The greatest decade in NBA history.
Bird apparently was a beer in the garage kind of guy
@Mike B I was not even aware of the analogy to be honest
If the pistons didn't throw a bad pass and have a phantom called against them they would have won 4 in a row.
This is great because i didn't really know about these guys because i didn't grow up during this era
I had the Spud Webb Pony shoes :) gift from my big brother
Fantastic :)
I love the NBA and these shows
Yes yes yes thank you
Jazzy Jeff really hanging on to his hairline hahaha
Let it go
Gratitude
Ps Magic is the best point guard, ever. I think.
I agree
Trivia.
Magic Johnson: The first person to have 72 teeth in his mouth.
Mitch Richmond Broward County Legend
In 2022, still waiting NB80's season 2 :P
Herb Williams actually ended up working for Bill Laimbeer as his assistant coach when Bill was head coach of the NY Liberty of the WNBA.

"Lost my job,got it back, hit my boss" XD
Only 25 teams of NBA in the 80s, but only one team was relocated from Kansas City to the Sacramento Kings back 1985-86 season. Then the Charlotte Hornets and the Miami Heat are added to the team at the end of the 1980s
I used to think Cheryl Miller was Reggie’s alter ego.
Bruh... ☠
RIP mark Eaton
Reggie Miller with that basketball, that's some NSFW shit right there :P
RIP Chocolate Thunder!
Jennifer Johnson q
I actually met Darryl Dawkins at the FIFTH AVENUE FAIR in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. He was so kind to me. RIP
all my friends say AI was pound for pound the best guard in NBA history...I say you must not have ever seen Zeke Lord Thomas III play
Was recently arguing with someone that tried saying AI was better than Zeke. Obviously not old enough to have experienced it all in real time. Even using AI's handle as an argument. Was like bruh, Zeke may have had the best handle in league history. It's about more than a crossover and some oh's and ah's from the crowd. Though Zeke can get you that too. Imo he's top 20 all time, 17'th to be precise.
51:55 Legend's Classic
They're all saying old players having a game is a mistake and it should never happen, and now we got BIG3.
Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf's killin that shit.
Chris Jackson was an awesome guard
@@RemoWilliams1227it’s unfortunate he was basically blackballed from the league
That 1986 Celtics team went 50-1 at home, regular season and playoffs combined! They probably should’ve won 70 games. They had six future HOFers, too: KC Jones, Larry Bird, Kevin McHale, Robert Parish, Dennis Johnson and Bill Walton 👍
1:19:45 song?
@@catcountry0099 I actually don’t know. I tried putting in those lyrics and nothing turned up. I kept landing on “Hey Joe” by Jimi Hendrix, which is a better song, but not the same song.
@@smoothALOE Yeah, I've searched through about a dozen songs with similar lines and can't find it either.
As a dirty old woman, I agree with Lisa Leslie. Bring back the short shorts!
lmao im dead
At least they could move in those short shorts. I'm still amazed that today's players are as fast as they are in those knee-length Capri pants.
rip Manute
Fo! Fo! Fo!
Back during an era when the league wasn't "soft"
D was horrible if you really watch it.
1:04:38 Larry Bird has seen Kevin McHale's 56 points and he'll raise ya
Tayshawn Prince was a student of Bobby Jones!!!
Best era of bball.
"You're 6'10 you shouldn't be in the dunk contest lol 😂
43:58 I totally remember that😂😂
Does anyone know the first song from the Pat Riley segment?

spider-bad boys= yall couldn"t fuc$ wit us !
urkel johnson. lmao
I loathed magic when he broke my heart beating my sixers. he did admit later that his passing game was everything he learned watching the pistol, so I credit him for being honest about that.
Magic Johnson sounds like Denzel Washington
Name of the beat from 17:30-18:10
I heard Bangor Maine
Where is detroit pistons, who won 2 titles during the 80's?
