I use to make these weaves back in the 90s. you need to cover your head in saran wrap or a plastic bag till it forms to your head. Then put the cap on your head over the plastic, then glue the track hair to the cap. after tracks dry then remove hair from your head and then peel the plastic away from the wig/weave and throw it away. your left with a half wig that custom fits your head. THEN you sew the closure on the top part before putting back on your head. Before installing new wig/weave that's when you gel your real hair down and wait for it to get hard. You take another stocking cap and glue that cap down to your head with wig glue. ONLY gluing around the parameter of your head. After cap is stuck good to your head you then install your custom wig/weave by gluing it down to your stocking cap on your head. CONCEPT: Weave hair is glued to cap, not your hair. Only thing glued to your hair is the second cap and it's only around parameter. That second cap is the thing that protects your hair while wearing the weave. Easy to remove in two weeks because you will be pulling the wig/weave off a stocking cap, not yanking it off your hair. Once you remove the wig/weave you are left with that second stocking cap that has protected your hair. that's when you get in the shower in the hot water with conditioner over the cap and it will slide all out. That weave glue all over your head seeping through the cap from each track is what ripped it out your hair the first time. All the glue from the tracks are to be glued to the first stocking cap, the plastic bag lining prevents the glue from seeping through and sticking to your real hair. This is why you had so many problems removing the weave. If you glue your custom wig on your head with wig glue not weave glue you aren't damaging your hair. That weave glue touching your hair is brutal and will rip out your hair. BTW the definition of a quick weave is when you gel your real hair down with brown gel and setting lotion like you are doing a silk wrap. blow dry it with a head scarf till it gets rock hard slicked to your head. then you glue the tracks directly to your head. glue closure directly to your head. this method doesn't use a cap. when time to remove you get in the hot shower and the brown gel turns into this jelly substance when wet and the quick weave slides right out. glue slides right out because the weave glue was glued to the gel in your head and not your hair. this is the definition of an original quick weave. atleast if you are from the 90s you know what I mean. nobody does these type of weaves anymore.

On your quick weave for next time, comb your hair a lil more for a flat base, use hair mold 'clear or black ' I love the clear mold. And then lay your cap on your head and dry and then lay your weave
