Living together before marriage brings temptation, sexual desires, and an expectation of husband and wife qualities without the commitment. There are just certain things we chose to keep sacred and living together was one of them. But of course I dare not condemn anyone else of what they've done. Just speaking for us and what worked with us. 😊

People definitely change once they live together sometimes for the best and sometimes fit the worst. i just don't want any surprises from the person I'm suppose to build a family with and be together forever lol
I think that if a couple is engaged, not falling into sexual sin and not treating each other as husband and wife it's not an issue. It's not a sin. I know several couples that live that way while they're engaged to save for their wedding. Especially if you don't have parents to pay for the wedding. I also understand everyone has their own convictions and should live by what they feel convicted of.
My husband and I will be married 23 years in April and after 23 years I can be honest and say when we hv those tense moments I still don't know how to keep it in check. I go from 0 to 100 at the blink of an eye. What I will say is that you definitely hv to be willing to put in the work to keep the marriage going. One thing he knows is my HEART and he knows all my flaws. Because of that he stands with me and by me! :). Congrats on your upcoming 3 year anniversary!

Right now, my boyfriend and I (we've been together for 2 years), and we are currently going through the LDR for the first time. It has been really hard on me, but we are both praying and going to church. Last Sunday, I fasted for the entire morning/afternoon, went to church, and prayed so much. & ever since then, I felt soo much better. Prayer & fasting are really the keys to success 🔑
