What a beautiful machine and you kept us eagerly waiting until the end to hear and see the wonderful stitches! Please can I pay you to come and teach me how to oil my machines and tell me what all my feet actually do 😂 You are so knowledgeable ❤ Great unboxing with lots of info, thank you.
Lovely machine, I've had mine for two years now and love it. Funnily enough I was just looking at Franklins website and felt I needed a drive to Salisbury - you've convinced me LOL
I have just bought my Juki 2010, I got the even foot walking bar and 25 extra feet, And now thinking of the 1/4 inch foot with guide. It’s a dream to sew on.
Hi Adam. Love your new machine. I have the TL 2010Q and have just shouted myself the HZ-DX7. I've also got the Juki coverstitch machine. I can't use the needle threader on the 2010Q but it works beautifully on the DX7. I think I'm the only person in my town who has ever heard of the brand. We have a 5 hour drive to our nearest dealer but their online service is fantastic. Enjoy.
I traded the DX7 for this as I have a bernina that does everything the DX7 did, it’s a fantastic machine though and I will miss it. Juki machines are incredible little beasts. They will sew almost anything with no bother
@@AdamSews oh wow! I just found out that you have a Bernina B570QE, a DX7 (which are now traded for), and a TL2200 QVP MINI!! I have the exact same machines!!! The three of them!! 😆 Now I wonder what kind of serger/overlocker do you have?
How exciting for you and your new machine! I know some GOURG stuff will be coming out of it soon! Your tunic looks great on you btw! I just love that Dobby and Luna go everywhere with you guys. Will you adopt me????!
Thats a NICE machine! I didnt realize there was a juki mini industrial or would have gotten that instead. Have you had these juki machines before? Is this more heavy duty than the machine u traded ? Thank you for sharing your new machine with us.
Hi Carmen! Hope you are well, yes I traded in the Juki DX7, again brilliant machine but not a heavy duty. The capabilities of the TL range and the stitch quality is impeccable, they will sew leather, 10+layers of denim etc, plus will also sew beautiful chiffons and georgette’s etc. the only thing is because it’s straight stitch only, you’d still need a another machine for zig zag and buttonholes, but considering 99% on my sewing it straight stitch, it works well for me x
Hi Adam, Will you be using the 1/4 inch foot with the guide that came with the machine. As im tossing up whether to get one for mine machine as I bought 2010 and should have bought the 2200 for all the extra bits.
I think I will use it for quilting very accurate patterns, it makes for much more accurate quilt block. I think out of all of them that’s probably the most useful foot
Glad that you are happy with your new machine. I would be really interested to hear why you swapped the one you had for this one - what are the advantages of this? I am hoping to buy a new machine in a year or so and not yet sure what to go for.
Hi Eileen, I swapped the Janome for the Juki as the juki in my opinion is a much more refined machine, it’s not as gigantic as the Janome, it’s quieter and smoother. Most importantly, it’s got the ability to drop the feed dogs for freemotion quilting and was developed for quilting, the Janome is a great machine but it’s a bit like buying a Mercedes or a Vw both brilliant brands but the Mercedes just tips the comparison for me which is how I see the Juki, hope that helps, best bet is to have a go on both and see which you would prefer ☺️
Adam you must like Juki’s , didn’t you buy one last year? I bought a Juki HZL-NX7 last weekend. I’m not sure how I feel about her yet to be honest but my old Bernina 1230 is having some issues. I think the computer is going to die and I just can’t afford a new Bernina with the features I want. The two features I wanted were built in even feed (walking foot) and a deeper throat. I bought my Bernina used and I was looking at another used machine but the sale on the Juki was too good to pass up, and I would also have a warranty. This new machine was half the price of the used one I was considering. Time will tell.
You’ll learn to love it, there’s things that the Nx7 does better than Bernina and vice versa, I think with time you’ll learn the habits of the machine and become friends with it, I love Juki machines and I love Bernina too, I wouldn’t be without my Juki or bernina, for hard wearing work though Juki all the way ☺️
This is a straight stitch heavy duty, so brilliant for bag making and quilting, super fast and fast thread cutter for peicing multiple pieces, also will take the strain off my Bernina, I tend to use the Bernina for garments and the Juki for everything else
Hi Adam! Congratulations on your new machine. I have exact same machine. I really love it. In case you have any issues, check out Juki Junkies on you tube. Enjoy!
I’ve never had a problem with mine, a few people have complaints about activating the thread cutter easily, but the machine comes with an adaptor to isolate that function, or additionally there is another foot pedal available with a completely seperate pedal attached for the thread cutter function
I love going for a ride with anyone. I really enjoy seeing the countryside. Thank you. 🙂🙃🙂
I wanted to get a bit of where I live in so people can see the lush green countryside ☺️
@@AdamSews It's a beautiful area. Thank you, Adam. 🙂🙃🙂

I’ll give you a lesson in feet next time I pop down to see you hehe, I know what they do, doesn’t mean I use them 🤣🤣

Have this machine and love it! I use that skinny zipper foot all the time, never used the adjustable one!
Fantastic little beast isn’t it! And that zipper foot is awesome as you can top stitch so close too ☺️☺️

Amazing. Wish I could have been there xx
