I laughed so friggin hard when I saw the clip of the arrow being shot.. and there was this stupid little sparkle effect at the end of the arrow.. such a Tommy Wiseau decision in the editing room.. imagine being the editor who was in charge of adding that silly little sparkle
Megalon seems like the ulitmate McGuffin. Like that sled in Citizen Kane, its a through line that reveals more and more of its true nature. In the end, its still hard to define exactly. And becomes essence of creativity. Something that's more of state of mind as opposed to an object you can hold. Itnitially only Julia and Cesar understood it. But in the end the entire city was able to access it. And get on board to this new reality of loving connections.
Wow. 3 hours. Here are the Stress-Free K Takes. Ok Let's go (Part 1): 1) Daniel is right. Megalopolis fantastic! Babie-level originality. 2) Stopping time is not literal. Being in the Zone or in the Flow (psychology). Architecture is timeless. Often creatives feel time recedes while they create. Also great sex can stop time. 3) New Rome is an alternate universe. (Just a few degrees from our own) Where the women have NO power (Wow Platinum tries to break barriers). And taught not to think. 4) Lawrence Fisburne seems like he is recording history. 5) Cesar's wife and nurses and harpist are covered in Megalon

So Francis read atlas shrugged and a Roman history book?
Didnnot think much of this movie. Watched it in IMAX with Laser GT on the UK’s widest screen. Shouldn’t have bothered.

In my opinion this movie was garbage.
