My favorite part of your hair are the two "Oh Crap!" features rubbed into either side of your upper forehead.
Buffet also exited Costco position in 2020 before it ran +190%.
"Drink some coffee and enjoy life". That's exactly what I'm doing now. 😁
And watch the world burn !
Used to think investors lose out amid crash, meanwhile some make profits. I also thought folks went out of business during the great depression, but some went into business. Bottom line, there's always depression for some while others amass wealth gains.
Aye that be true.
I already sold half my portfolio and paid off my mortgage.
That’s bloody awesome man. Great move
It reminds me of the movie line from Mean Girls… “There’s a 30% chance that it’s already raining”😑
Sold half my PLTR position last Monday @$27.20… not the ATH but better than current prices. Almost 100% gains. Glad we’re on the same page Tom.
He still kept 50% of his Appel position.. believe he is just preparing to buy crazy dips..
Mr Buffet needed the cash, because he will invest in Tesla, Nvdia and Palantir
wrong, he needed the cash to buy my mixtape
Hopefully
@BoundMusic bought your mixtape and now I own millions in fire damage, 10/10 would do again
@@samuraitadpole5459 hahaha that is hillarious, bless your heart
That would move the stock big time
You are the best at explaining the facts! Everyone else is dramatic looking for clicks.
Director in PEF here. I really like your content, but it is too early to buy the deep for the following reasons:
1. Recession isn't even 50% priced in
2. War in the ME isn't priced in at all, and can have a major short-term impact
3. September and October historically are bad months
That being said, few stocks like NVDA and SMCI are completely undervalued with the recent sell-off, especially when you hear how much CAPEX giant techs are going to spend on A.I, so adding to them isn't a bad idea
Thank you for the calming advise.
Any time!
Put on the patience pants and empty it's pockets DCA'ing over the next 24 months. 👏
I'm holding. Investor not trader.
Long term DCA is a cheat code
Smart, unless the nukes fly we'll be ok in the long run
@@TomNashTVyes!!! DCA and time in the market is an insurance policy for the longs
Long term commodities 🫡
Selling due to “fear” is one of the worst thing you can ever do because we don’t have certainty that we going to flush hard. As for Buffett he did said it was for tax purposes.
You are real bro, Thank you for your Honest opinions about the stockmarket.🎉
Tom thanks for your advice only in the market 2yrs and since i started heard nothing but recession warnings from others it seems like if they wake up every day and predict rain they will be right some day
I won’t sell anything. I don’t need my investments.
@TomNashTV you didn’t mention about the carry trade borrowing capital from Japan now they pull some money back to JP. According to Cathy Wood the carry trade has 20 Trillions in the US market since 2008. But the BoJ raised the interest rates last Wed last week. One day before the market went down.
So far I'm up 25k listening to you and 1 other.
NVDA24L is still extremely undervalued
I am so bullish right now
I've heard lots of people from X and Facebook talking about this one
NVDA will atleast beat LINK
Coinbase, OKX and Binance will list NVDA very soon. We do not have much time left
Much better than all those shits altcoin with no utilities
What good is an indicator if you're going to invoke special pleading? If the indicator doesn't work under certain conditions, those conditions need to be enumerated in advance
Your so right
My stagflation indicator, and most of America's, has been flashing for well over 2 years!
🫡
You don’t know what stagflation means! 😂😂😂
@@MrTavis1 ...I don't think you do. I grew up in the Carter years Dbag.
"I dont see the stag or the flation" - Jerome powell
@@JK-ks3xq So why didn’t you tell us inside of call names?? 😂😂😂😂😂 You lost. 😂😂😂
Your analysis is great bro. Keep going !!
Enjoy your vacation.
I just have to watch it when the video comes out, can't miss it. The formation is too good. Go have a good vacation!
The voice of reason ! Thank you Tom.... Vince
I love the FUD, when FUD happens, stocks go on sale.
God bless you Tom. You literally changed my life for the better.
Thanks Tom.
Big thanks as always. Now enjoy that vacation!
You do have beautiful hair Tom 😊
What is Recession even means ?
Looks like recession is identifying as they/them
Right? 😂
All I'm hearing is get ready to stockpile cash and watch out for dips.
Yo Tom! The stock market and these indicators are nice and all, but what’s your hair routine?
Thanks Tom
Thanks, Tom.
Agreed. I should have sold the entire PLTR position. It is likely seen its highs for the foreseeable future.
Lmao!!!! Ok
She said that because she works for the government!!
We will see what happens…
Great show!!
Just Dollar Cost Average and be done!
Appreciate you and the insights, Tom. I think we are in a moment of complete overreaction in the market. In a month, people will regret they didn't load up on NVDA now. This either/or on NASDAQ and IWM is a ruse. When rates start coming down, Tom Lee will be right, sideline money will start flowing in.
Warren Buffet selling should be considered market manipulation. Nope…when you are so rich you shouldn’t be allowed to move that much of a position and blowing up that stock as well as creating drama in the markets
Thanks Tom for the breaking news during your holiday! Optimism is one of the most important "skills" but one has to be smart about it with DCA and taking partial provits at ATH so I fully agree ( also ) with that part :)
I’m always going to put you guys first t
Tom, saying that the market is typically down 5% 12 months after the first rate cut in a recession is not sufficient for your viewers. They need to be warned that a market drop of 23% typically occurs first, prior to the partial 12-month recovery. They might sell in fear if they are not warned of that potential, hopefully temporary, drop.
Thank you for the great videos
Thanks Tom. Really. Thanks
🫡
I sold half about 2 weeks ago.
Will ride it out.
Hold your cash
Don't be discouraged by ignorance. Most people most of the time desire to be and stay on the fast track, nice illusion.
They understand nothing about investing.
Be cool. So far U R doing fine . U definitely understand the market sentiment and attributes.
Great video. Thank you
Yep, its here.
tom always brings the useful info
👏
He is looking ahead and knows stocks will go on sale and he can go shopping
Recession doesn't come as soon as Sahm Rule gets triggered, it's within 3-6 months of it. And if we look at the curve, it will get univerted in 3 months after Fed cuts rate, and Recession happens when it uninvert. So, both of these indicators are pointing towards a Recession in 3-6 months.
Do uou mind turning off ultra hdr? Not at least not film with the sky as the background. 😭
Excellent video. This really helped me cope.
I think Buffet reacted late but then again you said it was reported later
im bearish and selling but i appreciate this perspective taking 30% off is definately advisable for long only and then this money can be used for dollar cost averaging if we drop further…
I would be looking to buy back soon.
I went into bonds on Friday, but the market could turn around soon.
Looked at long chart of each Index. Seemed like they pulled back after about the same amount of time. But market sentiment and business not grossing as much as they predicted. Sell off also because of end of Corporate tax cuts.
Buying the dip < Buying the confirmation of an uptrend
Interest rate too high for too long, can lead to recession. Tho inflation is under control.
Thank youy very much. Great vid. Superb info.
If there is a possible recession coming ? Should a person invest in the IWM?
Hi Tom, I really appreciate your videos, thanks! I'm just thinking - if everyone listened to you or just decided to take profits of the best performers, wouldn't it cause the market sell off we are observing right now??🤔
Buffet sold only 50% of that holding, and explicitly said it was for tax purposes.
“Only 50%”
I will keep buying the dip!!!
If we’re going to war I’m not selling pltr!
Tom is the real deal. Thanks for your wisdom, clarity and great teachings brother.
😢 i missed out on the Academy vacancy!
Thanks for showing all sides and the why there is multiple views.
That’s the best thing I can do for my community
Where’s your Tom Lee ?
2024 is very similar to 2000 so no need for the yield to be uninverted for the bear market to start
It's not over, it's just over, or is it?
You watched. That's all that matters.
@@yruhatin100 Nah, I just commented. You know, why watch if it's over?
To some degree unemployment rising helps moderate inflation though
... still D.C.A . lol i got 5k saved up... 1800 incomming.. every week a lil bit :P dipping my toes.. until i tell my self this is the bottom.. then full WOT like im driving a Baracuda 68
also tsla average is at 210... tend to lower it i already took profits at 260 . and put it bakc in when it whent stupid low again wich was friday at 206 but not allot do . NVDA sold.... ..AVGO sold .. rest stayed nicely just working ona lognt erm position. rest is making me 1230 on average for the last 8 months and for sombody whoch just 1,6 years busy not bad i recon last month was btw 2237 dollar
@@Albert87nl$206 for TSLA is not stupid low. 😅
@@MarcioNovelli no true.. but how fast it whent i called it stupid bought plenty of the 107 lows.. i only trade with fear.. more the better
The curve is 9%inverted and has been since pre covid. Credit defaults will be nasty... trade safely and invest wisely
If the market goes down, I will have increase my buying
Tom, my question is,,, does the recessionary crash also translate to same stock crash in other markets like Canadas TSX?
market always corrects on vacation
Thanks Tom
Why you have emergency funds ... and still afford to DCA
I’m in this for the long term Haven’t put anything in yet that I need right away and I’m still DCA Realizing I may need to turn it up soon. I don’t know about all these short term things but I’m not changing what I’m doing
No, zombies buy back low and sell less than the last peak.
Every time the market goes down it takes another 14 years to make up the difference. Prices of funds still aren’t what they were before 2020. We will never make up the difference.
😂🤦♂️
14 years? My guy, you’re in the wrong funds. 😂
Time to DCA
That should be done all along.
If we go into recession my leaps are screwed
The Warren Buffett indicator
Would you say a recession is already priced in? Somewhat?
if the pre-pandemic seasonal adjustment factors for the months of July up to and including 2019 were used, then "this July’s nonfarm payrolls would have been up by about 200k instead of 114k
Yea Tom!
Been short since June, every time Spy pushed ATH i added to it! Now i sit back and watch it print!
You are the only reason i sleep at night😂
Thanks. Great video as always
Please tell us where you are reporting from. Your audience is global. Yes, I'm from South Africa
Shalom
Tom Lee broooo :(
Oh man Tom what are you saying when it comes to rate cuts
Rate cuts are certain but the impact on stocks isn’t - it will depend on how good the economy is by the time the Fed decides to cut
@@TomNashTV Tom when rates are cut then there mostly definitely be lots of volatility and per what I hear most of the time for the longest it’s a bad sign
As long as your broker stay float youll be safe, Tom like always is part right!!
Always 2 sides to any story
I'm not selling. in any case, I will be buying more stocks in sale.
We are in recession, save cash now
