10 mutators rolled at random.
2 teams take turns playing the mutation challenge.
Each team selects commanders and map to try and beat it.
After each loss, a team removes one mutator from all future rounds.
Maps and commanders cannot be repeated.
First team to win a map wins the challenge.

From a quick glance, I think the biggest way I could improve this setup is to just let the active players mute the inactive players from the start, and then mute myself from all the players so I could actually commentate on strategy without giving anything away.
Also, apologies in advance: My editor was (presumably?) too strapped for time to bleep out any of the profanities
It's probably not best for your monetization, but the profanity adds a great deal of character
I would suggest that the inactive players may watch the match. Alongside our host, to chat and discuss what they are doing. The active players are thus isolated from meta discussions or suggestions and have to play as a pair.
Meanwhile the other team can laugh at their mayhem.
@@glenmcgillivray4707 They actually can. All players are invited to the resume from replay, but only active players are assigned to play. The rest observe.
@@CtG-Games well the point being. You are with the players watching and joking with them instead of telling grant how to play.
Although unmuting yourself in the active chat might be possible to explain game mechanics to puzzled players who aren't familiar is fine as a tool. Just remember to mute afterwards.

It seems like GGG is the only player of the four that is actually experienced in co-op.
I watch him a lot and I didn't even know he did co-op, he slammed!
Lokow has played with CTG before.
Grant is flexible and adaptable to a wide variety of game modes, and probably does Co-op for fun.
Simpler than the Junkers mod!
@@glenmcgillivray4707 Yeah, but lets be real here, the endless wave of fire would've been imba on this run. Grant and Lowko wouldn't have had any issues on that last one with Grant playing the Junkers. Just ignite, kill, spread fire, spawn broodlings, droodlings die, spread fire, etc.
Grant regularly plays CO-OP with his viewers and sometimes includes mutators and such at the viewer's req
Grant is a heavy pve content player, he honestly had the advantage individually. on the other hand, Harstem is a very strong player and could counteract that advantage under the right circumstances. I don't recall Lowko doing much coop, and I don't know much about Upatree
I was sure from the start that GGG and Lowko would win this, because Harstem and Upatree didn't even know about prestiges 😂
Seeing Lowko and Grant in a team is like perfection. I wonder when Jaybarino is going to join in?
I don't know if youve done this sort of content before, but it's my first time seeing it, and I think it's a really cool and interesting format! The winning game was especially exciting to watch as it came down to the wire. Definitely keen to see more, if you guys organise another!
I actually plan to organize a tournament of this! Though it will be among the best co-op players in the world playing these games solo

I will attempt to do the same maps with the same mutators. Round 1 (10 mutators) has been uploaded. (Maybe I should've gone backwards)
Game 1 was the 2nd easiest. You gotta do the same commanders and prestiges that they picked
update: i haven't tried round 2. round 3 is near impossible. round 4 is doable, but extremely annoying because one mistake and it's over.

11:00 I don't think I've ever heard anything remotely close to "I'm a cheesy little slut" from Grant, and now I've seen it all.
This was great fun to watch. I think getting pro players and casters more engaged with coop is what we should all be aiming for, as these high profile people have more influence with Blizzard (see the community 1v1 patches for example) and could perhaps help convince Blizzard to make improvements to coop as they learn how much fun the mode is

For the next one, maybe a more balanced team might make it more interesting. Grant and Lowko seemed like a way stronger team.
Any team with Grant is way too strong.
I don't agree that much, Upatree & Harstem did pretty well on the first run. Its hard to say given the insane randomness. Besides, what made this fun was the interaction between the 5.

one thing I found is that zeratul pairs really well with vorazun. Because of the upgrade that increases cloaked units' shield regen, zeratul becomes nearly unkillable.
I hope there will be more challenges! I knew I was going to be entertained but didn't expected to laugh so much!

My first veto would have been Missile Command, play Dead of Night, and then go either P1 Karax or P2 Swann with like a P3 Nova or something to safely clear.

Idk, I thought Raynor Nova on Dead of Night with Black Death Veto was going to clear on 9 Mutators.
Nova with super cloak and Raynor with the call downs. The buildings floating in the corner would be a great strat.
What about missile command? do the missiles not hit the flying buildings?

So, two things come to mind: The strat they won with should've worked from the very start, no? Rockets are no biggy, naughty list is no problem on the tanks, it is a problem on the betties but those can probably be scrapped and rebuilt easily. Or perhaps the nuclear rockets might become a problem later on. Black death doesn't work on buildings, so as long as the tanks don't catch it, easy.
On the other hand: The team that starts is severely at an disadvantage, no? I feel 9 and 7 mutators are far better breakpoints than 10 and 8, but i might be plain wrong on that one :D

How do you get the pie charts at the end showing the stats?
It's only available in the arcade maps that we played in
Grant has op micro; he does so many challenge runs also I'm firmly on Grant's team.
If X is the damage a void trasher deals in the time it takes for the drill to kill it, the first void trasher does X damage, but the second batch (2 thrashers) does 3X, since they do 2X in the time it takes to kill the first thrasher and 1X in the time it takes to kill the second. Then by the same token, the third thrasher batch (3 thrashers) does 6X, and the final batch does a whopping 10X, as much as all the previous batches combined. Now, the nukes and Nova AoEs do reduce that a bit when they damage multiple trashers at once, but... well, if you do the math, you can see that things were actually looking very tight after the third batch.
This was actually good content, there are quite a lot rooms for improvements, but I think it can go far, also, maybe banning the super cloak ? LUL
What do you all think is the best strat for the first round? I think I'd go with Karax + Mengsk and Rifts with Karax defending the Main while Mengsk clears with Earthsplitters from the top left empty area. He needs some bunkers to defend but that should be doable with karax repair too.
They could have played it safe with Karax just turtling the ramps, and Arcturus waiting for a nuclear annihilation for every sliver.
When it's available, drop a vampire at a shard then use nukes. It will destroy all the shards with the mastery. Karax can add a few orbital strikes in case to guarantee.
@@CtG-Games The GOAT himself responded! You're totally right, don't even need the the splitters. Scythe or lock and load are probably easier to just cheese but I'm happy that this would've worked too!

Edit: First time watcher and enjoyer. I think it is funny as hell and a very different way to host. 22:50. You are not like a fair 50/50 host use your own knowledge. You remind me of a Dungeon master. Setting the stage and rules and throwing curveballs whenever you feel like it. It made it funny and entertaining.

This map made me think of a mutation suggestion.
Overwheming Overwatch.
Science vessels, observers or Overseers will explore the map, spawning over time alongside attack waves.
The rate of spawning will accelerate as the population decreases, and decelerate as we approach a maximum count. Maybe 5 per wave at max, to a population of 25 (ignoring normal spawns)
All observers, Overseers and Science vessels get a special ability. Observers can call down orbital strikes on a target in visual range. Overseers can call down damaging pods that will spit out zerglings or broodlings on a target location. Science vessels summon missile command type missiles or mini nukes from above. These will continue to be dropped every few seconds on the targeted location till the target is destroyed, these units will chase targets for a leash range like most garrisons on the map, except these ones patrol around the map freely.
They can and will wander into your base, or approach from unusual angles. But they do not spawn in your base itself.
I imagine overseers spawn the most often, and the AI will build them most. So probably their spore pod drops probably shouldn't do a lot of direct damage.

I think Dehaka would have lasted a bit longer with primal igniters, but with plague and all, probably not long
These mutators were interesting and potentially possible from the start. Good control of the laser would have been reliable.
But.
If we had had power overwhelming.... Everything gets a random ability. Oh my. I wonder how long they would have fought to keep it in the pool with that many broodlings spawning. Removing it would make the mission far easier for following playthroughs.

it was unclear to me : was there any form of agreement to not leverage map exploits, etc? my approach probably would have been : veto orbital strikes, then take like, tychus and stettman, and burn void thrashing (as one of the easier maps that i'm aware of). assuming missile command still disappears for round 3, i'd then veto mag mines, take Nova p3 with either mengsk or Raynor to keep attack waves from just shredding the floating buildings and just rip through Dead of Night. however, that does abuse the large unpathable zones that exist in the corners. if that's not permitted, i'd probably then say P2 swann next to P3 nova and go for Rifts to Korhal. when the mutations say "stay at home", i don't argue. as long as it's a map that allows nova to be the only one who needs to leave base

@@CtG-Games For example, we have beginning upon first match where cuts doesn't hurt instead no pauses between word sounds and looks ok. When we have early game like 14:30 where cuts looks not so necessary, but still u can watch it. And at the end, if u watch 14:40 and few more sec after it. This image hard to watch, so many blinks.
So, my suggestion is to reduce amounts of cuts in the game. Idk how it works with YT algorithms, but it may help ppl to watch vid. Cuz idea great, persons interesting, u comment, great to hear it like radio, not to watch.

Co-op missions. If you play co-op, just look up the names of the missions on the arcade. If you don't play co-op, you should. It's the 2nd tab on the main menu.
This is really good and all, but was there a need to add THAT many mutators? It's literally impossible for anyone to finish a map with that many.

1. Twotuuu did solo it already. He has a video on his channel doing it.
2. The 9-round format works better with more options when it starts at 10 mutators.
3. The process of eliminating mutators becomes more interesting when there are more choices
4. Just more chances of rolling fun mutators if there are more rolls
