Adventure Riding | NZ TwoUp Series 3 - The Devil's Staircase and a Wet Nevis Valley to End Our Trip

- On this last day to ride in NZ for the trip, we took the chance to ride through the Kawarau Gorge & along the Devil's Staircase south to Garston, before returning through the Nevis Valley in the reverse direction to a previous ride. The weather made for some awesome clouds along the lake & we climbed through the fog before descending into the valley & tackling the river crossings. This was a brilliant way to round out our trip. Hope you have enjoyed the series & looking forward to getting back soon for more great riding.

Good stuff Regan and co.
Great watching,well done.
Thanks for watching our travels..
Absolutely fantastic day of riding - what a trail and amazing views above the clouds. Do you reckon the GSA would have gotten through OK? What happened to the GS you came across by the water?
Your so right great trail and the feeling above the clouds is very cool.. I think the big GSA would do just fine through here i can get both feet flat on the ground with it and the balance is way better with lower centre of gravity than the KTM. That GS had a lay down in the water the guys we passed on the way in where off to get some spare oil.
ps., what size front wheel do you have on the 1150?
The 1090 has a 21 inch front wheel. Probably the one thing about the GSA thats taking a bit to get used too only having a 19 inch front.
Oh bugger its all over minus the replays.
Love this, great ideas for us.
Planning a Nov trip using Switzers rd and Avondale Rd, Waipiata to Qtown.
Thanks for watching guys we have some local West Australian rides coming up and planning to get back in the new year now. Enjoy your trip south. 😁
@reganrides Really appreciate the effort you put into the tour vids. We're in Sth Canterbury. When you're back next, if you have time, we could catch up at a cafe. Coffee on us.
@@stoneybd Our plan is to do the Banks Peninsula so maybe you guys can help us out. Would be great to catch up..
