Curious about how to photograph the Amazon's tiny creatures? Join us next week! bhpho.to/3JYQd99
Incredibly produced video! Amazing photography and videography. Thank you for sharing
Very excited to see this series, as I do wildlife photography, and as I'm heading shortly to Ecuador/Northern Peru for a several weeks and will hopefully have the opportunity to see and photograph many things during the trip, won't make it to Coca or Napo this trip, but will spend a week in Tena, and traveling through the highlands. Going now to watch the landscape video from last week. :) Thanks!
Thank you very much for sharing videos with us. I truly apperciate it.
Great vid Colby. There were numerous excellent still shots and it was very helpful having your commentary while the video was in play. Big thanks to B&H for resourcing your trip.
One point: check your understanding of what an "animal" is. Many people use the term for Mammals only. Frogs, fish insects, spiders etc are all animals because they can't manufacture their food as plants do. The either feed directly on plants (e.g. cattle) or are part of food chains that begin with animals that are herbivores. I will look forward to your next vid on frogs, ants and other small animals.
Really enjoying these series
Great vid! Wearing a long-sleeved shirt religiously in the Amazon cuts down on bug bites!
Amazing 🐦😃
Wow ! I love this so much!!
Thanks for watching!
That Caman shot is fantastic. I have the A9 and use it for birding but still see some of the disadvantages of a 24mp sensor.
Nice Save to watch later
Another great video!!
I'm heading into the Amazon to shoot from boats in September. How did you find using a tripod in the boats? Would a mono or a lens rest potentially be a better option? Cheers!
Thanks great
Great video Colby. You didn't mention teles, but I use a 2x on my 600/4, and, boy, DOF vanishes. I saw you shooting at 6.3 with your 600. How do you deal with DOF? Thanks.
Great content, thanks, I know these videos are about photography, but a lot of your wildlife content is video. I think there are a lot of viewers that would be interested in a few episodes on shooting wildlife videos.
Best Wishes Davd Jones
How big was your BTS crew? Since you had the Ninja, did you shoot any pro res raw?
I love the deep color of pro res raw but the moire/aliasing, because of the line skipping, looks bad in certain shots.
Alligator and caiman are not the same species or genus. They are part of the same family but beyond that are totally different taxonomic groups.
Less talking more rowing!
