The last one is blatantly obvious why R2 never told Luke. The very reason R2's memories were never wiped was because unlike C-3P0, R2 could keep secrets.
In the Legends Trilogy, Dark Nest, Luke stumbled across a series of recordings in decaying memory sectors that depict that R2 recorded several scenes from Revenge of the Sith from Padmé's pregnancy reveal, Anakin's nightmare, Obi-Wan's visits to Padmé's apartment, Anakin telling of the mission to Mustifar, and the confrontation before Anakin and Obi-Wan dueled it out.
Why didn't R2 tell Luke about his father? Could it be because Obi-Wan and Bail Organa said that Luke and Leia were to be raised in secret? R2 was simply following orders.

There's plenty of 'force users' in the galaxy that aren't jedi out sith, like the dathomir witches or the people from the episode with Mace and JaJa on a busy chip adventure (Bardotta?). The best plot hole fix is Darth Vader being Lukes dad. "What I told you was the truth, from a certain point of view".
I always figured that Artoo never told Luke because, at first, he had more pressing things to do - locating Obi-Wan. And when they did, Artoo followed Obi-Wan's lead in not just flat out revealing everything to Luke right up front because Artoo would trust Obi-Wan implicitly. As Obi-Wan knew he would, since he did in fact recognize Artoo - in the canon young adult novel "The Princess, the Scoundrel, and the Farm Boy," while they are on the Millennium Falcon, Obi-Wan tells Artoo something along the lines of "it's good to fly with you again, old friend."
In canon a better answer as to why Vader did not recognize C3PO; C3PO was a different color and was one Vader built himself. C3PO was also shown to be just one of those particular models. I forgot where exactly in canon there was one that had a female voice. And R2D2 never saying anything to Luke to how he knew Vader is his father; R2 was present quite frequently around Obi Wan and Bail Organa as well as Yoda. And during the clone wars R2 was proven more times than none that he could be trusted with secrecy and is considered family among the Skywalker family. In one episode of the clone wars Anakin was called out by either Mace Windu or Obi Wan or both I can't remember on not wiping R2's memory as part of a standard droid procedure. Anakin refused to do so because he had a bond with the unit. R2 even was even part of a droid team in an arc of the clone wars as a soldier. So, it is entirely possible as a unit to be trusted; R2 was most likely instructed by Obi Wan and Yoda to not say anything to Luke or Leia if he ever did encounter Anakin/Vader again until the time was right. R2 did work alongside the likes of Yoda so he knew when a request by a Jedi master involving something important, they had a reason. And to add further context; when Yoda went to go learn additional training at the end of the clone wars R2 was present when Yoda was given foresight on possible events. Which is why I also believe why as a reason he gave up so easily against Palpatine in the rise of the Sith. Yoda knew something was coming true and he felt he had to let it play out whether he liked it or not.
In his only scene with Threepio, Vader literally stops Boba Fett from shooting the wookiee with his creation on its back, "don't shoot my droid!" Not mentioning a character is hardly a plot hole. Then I'm like "what is he supposed to say, you will go learn from my kindergarten teacher, but you should know about my college professor that passed away and you can't benefit from this knowledge in any way" lol 🤪
I never had a problem with Vader never recognizing C-3P0 for the sole reason that the 3P0 protocol droid model was a mass produced, commercial model of protocol droid. The one that young Anakin built was simply one assembled of scavenged and substituted parts, rather than purchased new. Over the years, as finances became more available, C-3P0 got upgrades, including a full chassis that made him look more commercially mass produced. One of the most common customizations for 3P0 units was getting their chassis painted silver, gold, brass, and other fine, polished metal sheens. A gold-plated 3P0 unit- especially with a chrome leg replacement- simply would not stand out, and since droids are inorganic, would not generate any Force signature that would make one stand out more than the other, especially with parts that have been replaced with new and different ones, from other places over the years.

His age is not the plot hole it's the fact he knew about the sith and said nothing but in episode one said he said they hadn't been seen in over 1000 year so that's the plot hole
Sooooo, they really are plot holes.
well the thing about Din Djarin not knowing what a Jedi should still be an issue, even if he never met one as both sith and jedi were quite well known by Mandalorian warrior clans due to the Mandalorian wars which made training on how to take on force wielders a thing, particularly those wielding lightsabers as that means they'd need flak and shrapnel weapons and not blasters plus the difference between Sith and Jedi due to their distinct difference in battlestyles.
and come on, the Acolyte is not to be taken serious as it was written by someone that literally hate the fans of the franchise lmao
I think especially some highly conservative Mandalorian Cult would teach about Jedi, who the Mandalorians traditionally see as one of their biggest adversaries. As they are a warrior culture, and the Jedi aren't exactly fond of war and stuff, their relations were pretty much always tense.
I NEVER thought THe Ki-Adi-Mundi thing was weird. Ceren's live a long time. It always made sense to me.? Oppo Rancicis is in Star Wars Jedi Survivor in Flashbacks during the High Republic...Some Species just got it like that. Lol And I mean, The R2 thing...you gave a lot of reasons....but if he was so loyal and whatnot as he is, the Skywalker's "Protector" as it were, why would he wish to shatter Luke's reality? That's a special kind of cruelty when I person thinks in their heart of hearts things are one way and you come along and turn everything upside down. He'd probably seen too much tragedy. Why would he want to inflict that on this little 19 year old farmboy? Lmao Sometimes it's easier to let someone believe one way if the reality would not be something they could comprehend?
Maybe if Luke knew he could have used the talk-no-jutsu on his dad sooner and magically turned him into a good guy.
It all makes sense.
People facing issues with these is so dumb a lot of these are obvious.
👋👋👋👋👋👋👍👍👍👍👍👍
possible that R2D2 never knew Luke's last name
Not really. Remember the scene in The Empire Strikes Back when Yoda was telling Luke the truth about his father, R2 peeked through the window. And I think there are more scenes when the full name of Luke was mentioned before R2.
Didn't Bail Organa wipe R2D2's memory at the end Ep3?
No just C-3PO
First
4:18 why didn't she just say that instead of telling Finn "I dOnT kNoW"?
