Also money saving tips which saved me money over the years and saved water on every flush in my 2 toilets too, In the cisterns place a tied up sandwich bag of small bits of gravel, why because when you slowly put this in the cistern water rises another inch, so on every flush in both toilets I’m saving a good 15/18 litres of water used because gravity on that bag of gravel rises the water level and uses less water to fill it on every flush, those bags are still there since 2012🙏🏻👍🏻
@dereton33 fcuk me..i didn't think it would be so high.. imagine a family with a few kid's,im sure it would be much more..im sure they will try bring it in again here.. They tried once but people protested big time. But as I said I can definitely see them trying again in the future.
Great bit of info thanks,BUT i cant lift the lid off my cistern🤔dont want to try too hard in case i break it,its a “pot” type cistern, not plastic, but its defo leaking into the pan.Probably a 1970s WC

A good idea those Stuart.
Hi Derek. We don't have water charges in Ireland "Yet".. Just curious how much do you pay per year for water..
Thanks 👍🍀
My bill just came in at £350.

Glad I don't have that problem living in wales , we have too much water.
Ha ha.
Thankfully I live in a terraced house and don't have a meter. One less thing to worry about.
Lucky you John.
@dereton33 I am lucky in that respect.
I dropped my water bill by half by peeing on my compost heap instead of using the toilet.
Did you use the compost on any plants afterwards, ha ha.

You could always follow the advice of STARMER for PENSIONERS.
Flush the toilet once a month.
Sarcasm right ?
Ha ha.
Sorry, but you need to get a better microphone. Your videos are good, but the sounds terrible.
You could turn your volume up a bit ?
Thanks Lauren
