Once you forget your screen unlock the pattern, especially after the phone restart (no alternative unlock option) the only thing you can do is factory reset losing all your data . Screen lock features should prevent irrelevant people from having access. Now, the legal owner has a locked phone in their hand and unable to recover his data.
Trying to reset a phone for work where the employee was fired. Already factory reset, but the pattern lock is still there and i cant get out of the set up screens without logging in to the google account or the pattern lock. Tried entering the google information i set up with it initially and says information can not be found. How can I get this reset so new employee can use?

I've tried every single possible solution I can think of, even number 6 on this video, and every single bloody time I need to unlock my phone in order to do it. @@droigy I actually had to go replace the phone because not even the tech guys who we bought the phone from couldn't get it to work because of the exact same problem I said in the comment, it just refused to do anything unless we unlocked it even though that was the problem we were having. Currently setting up the new phone as I'm typing this reply out. We basically came to the conclusion that for whatever reason my previous phone, which was only 8 months old by the way, had committed suicide.

When using Google Find My Mobile feature, make sure to you have a backup before going forward.

Sorry to tell you that if you forgot the password, the only way to reset the password is to bring your phone back to its factory defaults.
