As a gamer who sole purpose is to enjoy the end product, your view means nothing from consumer point of view, broken product is a broken product, period. I'm not saying this is a bad game, that being said from the developer point of view your point is 100% valid, that's why QA exist, i know as an indie dev that a luxury to have. My point is not only in games dev problem solving exist to tackle technical challenge with in the scope of work, it's matter how we navigate and solve the issue to improve the end product, experience and expertise is king in this area. 15+ years as an external contractor here, retired to venture other stuff, game dev is tough, cheers!
@@parthiancavalry besides there are solutions that don't necessarily involve being good at pathfinding, like being able to recall/teleport units to you. Could easily solve the problems mentioned imo.
Clearly, you have no idea how hard its to make a pathfinding for an RTS game. Especially since there are obstacles in the map architecture.
