You bring up several good points, and things I've thought about. I'm approaching that phase of my life where I'll have everything I want, no debt (own my house outright),work that I truly enjoy, plenty of money. etc. I've wondered, once I get there, what then? And I believe that answer comes down to: people/relationships. I don't want to wake up one day having everything I could ever possibly have wanted, only to be alone. So, in my process of "getting there" I'm trying to be intentional about cultivating the relationships I want to carry with me into the future. I've also taken a minimalist approach to family/friends and walked away from unhealthy or toxic people, which has freed me up to focus on the ones where the relationship is enjoyable, and mutually beneficial.

I’ve seen their retirement account balances and I went part time after I saw it. They have millions and are near death and they are in a tiny room the size of a jail cell. Live life now. Great video. I love the simplicity of your retirement math. Yes, a house and kids are expensive, but if that's what makes you happy, its worth it even if it means that you won't retire early. The problem I see is that we have been sold on a lie that makes sure you take on as much debt and pay as many taxes as possible. " Get a good education (i.e post secondary), get a good paying job (i.e. employee with no tax benefits), get married, buy a house and have kids.".....means that you will start your career with student debt, pay the hightest marginal tax rates, take on more debt to buy a house, more debt to buy cars to schuffle the kids to sports etc., take on more debt to fund their education, and push the Western dream of consuming more than you need, etc. There is a reason the middle class is in debt and broke .
I have been working a second job, reducing my expenses and living simplier in order to fund my retirement. It feels better to get rid of "stuff" than it does buying more. I really feel for the younger people today caught in the rat race. While salaries are stagnant, education, housing, cars, utilities and the cost of living in general has gone up substantially, reducing purchasing power. The folks buying homes over asking right now that are up 40%+ from 2 years ago scare me.

Part of the reason they own so many super cars they rarely drive is because super cars are considered an investment. Maybe I really don't understand the new world of the stock market we are in.

Hey not a bot when talking about crypto, but if you really want to buy an alt coin, Ethereum and the side chains splintering off of it to allow scalability are the way to go. Etheruem backs all the side chains in terms of network security, the side chains allow for more transactions with much lower fees, like 100x-200x lower fees to transact with more integration of current projects being done each day. So those side chains are polygon, cardano, bsc, plokadot. Polygon specificially seems very promising and can be bought on coinbase and most other major exchanges still very cheap if they even come through with a fraction of what's promised. Might be worth reading the white papers on some and investing a bit. Dogecoin does nothing and is just a meme.
