Really great patches! Many built intending to take advantage of aftertouch and polyphonic aftertouch. Thank you for doing that. I bought them a few months ago and it really brought my Summit to life. Thank you.
Purchased this bank today - it's simply awsome! It has everything what I was missing in Novation patches. Contrary to them, this bank focuses on "to-be-really-used" sounds. E.g. you will love all the organ sounds, there are amazing leads, strings etc... If you want to use Summit in a band, this bank is must to have.
Going through the set now. Excellent job Stefano! These are very well done. Lots of attention to detail. I like how you've taken advantage of the Mod Matrix and mapped important timbre controls to aftertouch, the mod wheels, etc. Anyone looking for usable bread and butter 80s and beyond timbres.. this should be an instant buy. Looking forward to more patch sets from you!
Excellent. Purchased, installed and happy. I've got to customize for my breath controllers, but these are a great starting point for that fat, organic analog brass sound - and much much more. Note: these are not the format to load directly into Sigabort's Midisynth-Peak Editor, but they load into Novation's Components just fine and once in your machine, you can bring them into the editor. Cheers! PS: watch your sub output on some of these patches - it goes deep.
Peak has a BP filter, but the resonance does not sound as the double resonance of the CS-80. Summit offers a very much wider palette for configuring the filters, also as a parallel or serial combo of 2 VCF, and the result is very impressive, very similar to the VCF configuration of the CS-80. I highly recommend to play Peak/Summit using a keyboard with the Poly AfterTouch, it makes a real difference playing BladeRunner-like patches...
Thank you very much for your kind comment! There is not any post processing on the audio of this video. I have just added the audio tracks on the video editor as they were recorded directly from Peak. Then I rendered the video to a mp4 file just as it was.
As I wrote to Stergios below, I think that Peak/Summit covers a larger palette of sounds, and the built-in FX section is an important add-on to make the FX part of the patch itself. The Mks80 low frequencies, so warm and full, are really impressive compared to Peak/Summit but, on the contrary, the Peak/Summit wavetables and filter/VCA saturation is a characteristic which you don't find in the mks80. Surely, they are a perfect combination in a recording studio and, if you like one, you will like the other one too...
These patches are stunning, I've purchased and been playing them all morning!
Just so rich and emotive, really shows off the best of Peak. Thank you!
Best patches available for the Peak!! I will learn alot deconstructing them! Happy having purchased them. Thx!
😀
That GhostOnWheel patch is gorgeous.
The haunted mod...!

That patch at the end is one of the best sounds I've ever heard....omg these are good.

Beautiful! I am fortunate enough to have two PolyAT-capable controllers, can't go back to playing anything else...
Hey I’m about to pull the trigger on a Peak to use with my Kurzweil MIDIBoard. How are you enjoying the experience? Any gotchas?

Hi Gary, thank you very much for your comment and feedback!
Complimenti, ottime sonorità nonché armonie!
Brilliant !
Incredible..
Beautiful sounds Stefano!
amazing!
Sounds fantastic. Might do a Bladerunner type of thing with both highpass and lowpass together as the CS-80 does. Not sure if Peak does it.

perfeckt.....
That's some impressive modulation you have added. Is there an Oberheim Brass patch in there by any chance?
Does this include a Version a version for the Summit also ? Do you buy the same "package" or there are different ones for the PEAK and Summit ?
Hi, yes, purchasing the library you get both, the archive includes 2 different files, one for Peak and one for Summit.
🤩
excellent Merci ! ;)
Ciao! Bellissimo!! Any / much post processing on these sounds?

At last, real music on a Summit !
Have you got a T8 strings patch like on the Prophet 08?
I see u have a SuperJupiter. How does it compare to Peak? Thanks!

Can you use them on a Deepmind?
Hi Daniel, no, I'm sorry, these patches are only for Novation Peak or Summit synthesizers...
What does this even mean? You can't load patches for one synth into a completely different synth. LOL... Behringer sent you, right? Too funny.
Is the summit coming with a poly AT keyboard?
no, it does not. I used a Roland A50 on this video.
