I had the equipment to windsurf in the most extreme wind, spent months sailing in tarifa in Spain and many other high wind/ and big wave locations around the world 1977 - 2006, then we arthritis ate me. Good memories thought.
My little lemon guava lost some brances and my plums lost a lot of fruit but trees are ok. My fence has problems and my chimney on house so I will be fixing these today

Mother nature can be ferocious. We get strong winds in storms but it's usually over in 10minutes, not like the sustained battering you guys get.

The bay in the video is normally quite calm. Never gets any ocean swell cos of small entrance to ocean..
LOL @ 10 mins - try 14 hours non stop with upto 115 km/h gusts! This is natures signal that we've come out of 7 months of wintry weather.
