AMEN! I see and hear this comment/complaint on several content creators. I get it. If I were visiting a location, I want current content, but the most current content is best found from the official sites of the places you want to see. Regardless, I'm not going to drive down that road at Hershey Park, thanks to this video

Wow. My favorite riding road. The Blue Ridge. Over the years we have ridin it from end to end 3 time. More than 3 thousand miles. From coast to coast to coast best rode. The restaurant at little Switzerland is wonderful. Today we are headed to wheels in time in maggie valley. Can't wait. Got to go. Travel Safe. Robert Woods.
Gettysburg is a unbelievable place. It is a must go for anyone in this country. If they still do it have a three or four hour personal guided tour..We have not been there for about five years and would love to go back again.

We were at Hersheypark CG for the RV show when y'all were there. I DID THE SAME DANGED THING ON THAT STUPID DEADEND...! Yes, the map should be more specific or there should be an escort. Chad and I briefly chatted when he was walking Daisy one morning. I also saw the very front of my Coach in the video; it was brief, but it was there! Great catch-up video. Safe travels, my friends...
I think I speak for every solo traveler towing a trailer or fifth wheel... It would be SO NICE to have someone to spot! Yes, I get an offer at almost every park, but I also don't wanna be "that guy" who can't park himself (or herself, for the ladies). I get so jealous watching the two of you work together. I don't spend but 15-20 minutes in total getting parked and setup, but what a difference a second person would make! Just last night I was trying to get into my spot after 12 hours of unplanned driving and the two fuc*&+@ bushes in either side of the lot made me want to cry more than once. Be thankful you have Tara. Be very thankful 🙂
I can't imagine why any knucklehead would criticize you for anything! You are working hard doing these videos so you can show and teach us all these different things. That "Road to Nowhere was a part of the original agreement to donate the land for the GSMNP since this is the 1st and only NP that was 100% privately owned.(but that's a whole different story), I don't know how they were able to successfully get the Park without it being completed. Thanks for all the work y'all do to bring us these great videos and thanks for taking us along with you!! It looks like sweet Daisy gets really excited when she senses that you are getting ready to set up at a new place. Such a cute little girl!!
To be fair, this was more than B-Roll... We documented our travels, did a campground tour, etc. It just happens to be things we haven't shared but people might have interest in.
Don't understand the negativity about the "older" footage. I watch videos from two or three years ago all the time. Chocolate World was much better when it was actually a chocolate factory, and you could buy fresh product in the store. We did it with our kids when they were still making chocolate there. We took our nephews with us a couple of years later and they had stopped production and it was very disappointing. The "Children of the Corn" footage even had my heart pumping a little 😁. Thanks for sharing.
Don’t stress why y’all share I got a salvaged toy hauler and been rebuilding it over the last year y’all have given me tons of advice and things to look out for and even modify on my own rig to avoid some issues y’all have had
Hope you guys enjoyed my hometown of Hershey....the park and all the other areas are only 10 minutes away. We are lucky to go to the RV show there every year....
We know those tunnels very well on the PA Turnpike 76. We camp at a state park just beyond the tunnels from the Gettysburg area. We also go up to the Hershey RV show most every year. Had to work this year but if you are there in 2023 will try to make it.
We have done the loop hike at the road to nowhere. That is a nice area. If you head up that way again, do the Noland Creek trail to Fontana Lake. Those were both family favorites. We have been to Bryson City for several vacations over the last 20 years. A couple of years ago, we also did the hike to the crashed plane at Waterock Knob. There are only a couple of beautiful overlooks. The rest of the hike is in the trees and when we went it was VERY muddy. You also had to go over and under quite a few trees and climb up and down a couple of steep banks. Very cool hike if you like that! Love your content!
Glad you guys are recovering and can't wait to see your travel adventures coming up. Looks like we will be back on the road again soon since the shop has finally gotten an engine for our RV. It has been in a shop in Chattanooga since November. If you guys are in Cleveland, that is fairly close to ur property here in Tennessee. This was a great wrap up of 2022!
Great catch-up reel! We agree that Hershey Park Campground will challenge even the skilled getting into and out of those thigh and challenging to level on sites. However, Chad please please please wear a bike helmet on that one wheel. We lost a very dear friend at the young age of 60 to a fall off one.

I enjoyed the video; the scenery was just beautiful plus you had me laughing at the corn maze. If my wife were in better health, I'd love to do what you do but it's not to be. I am sorry you guys got covid. We got it last summer and we had all our shots. Man, I sound like a dog there. Anyway, they sent us to the hospital to get the Monoclonal antibody infusion. That seemed to stop the progression of the symptoms in their tracks. After about 3 or 4 days we felt like normal. I hope you were able to get that as well. You guys take care and be safe on the road. I l love seeing the places you go. I then use Google to see more about some of the places. Especially your New England videos. Stay well my RUclips friends.
At 7:00 min. Chad said "I didn't turn as early as I should have", been there done that and I have a travel trailer. My wife and I stayed at Hershey Road Campground on Hershey Rd. in Elizabethtown, in a new section, spring of 21'. That campground gets a 5 star rating from us.
You've had a lot going on in ur lives with septic issues, guests, Covid (adding to Tara's pre existing health challenges). You deal with it so gracefully. I can relate with auto immune condition. I hope that at some point u'd share n educate us more). Every video you guys upload is a real treat to us. The Hershey Chocolate World🍫 tour was fun n so was the walk to the Road to Nowhere. We have been to Hershey Park multiple times cause we have friends in that area. The zoo is my favorite part. We don’t stay in the RV park in Hershey Park, we stay at the Elizabethtown / Hershey KOA. A little ways away but more homey and less bustle. Gotta do Blueridge on the motorcycle for max effect. I know you had guests tho.
Tara, don't worry about things being out of sequence and less than organized the way you would want them in a perfect world. Health problems are so difficult to navigate. I'm recovering from stage 4 cancer and can so relate to treatments and they do to a person. The people who have the frustrations haven't had the joys of this learning experience. We do what we can, when we can and be grateful. Hugs to you...

I've been in some places where they are so well labeled but they escort you anyway, and some places where its not labeled, the map might as well have been drawn in crayon, and its anyone's guess where to go lol. We went one place last year where to get to our site we had to pull back out on the road, turn left and enter from the other side of the river. There were also no signs on the way in to the office to point you in to where I could turn around, so I went the wrong way and had to back out. Thankfully there wasn't many people around at the time. Great place once we parked!

Sorry you got covid, but glad you are recovering. The chocolate place looked awesome. How many people can say they have been there. It’s huge. The campground looked pretty nice, but i do agree they should have somebody showing you to your spot. Oh septic! Glad you had a good time! The hanks are always good for some fun!!
13:57 Oh yes, the train. When we were there the first time our site backed to the tracks. That train seemed to run every half hour. And throughout the night! Never again. Last time we had a site more in the middle and it wasn't too bad. But most sites are not level. We bring a stool because we end up having to use it because the 5er is so high to get it level. Not complaining but some would probably run out of leveling blocks on some sites. 😂
We have been to the Hershey RV Show, only about hour and a half from home. We are still saving a spot for you at the GD New York Rally in Swan Bay in the Thousand Islands,July 27. Hope you can make it.

Mt. Mitchell is by far the highest on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Further north but in NC. Highest east of Mississippi.

I've been in some places where they are so well labeled but they escort you anyway, and some places where its not labeled, the map might as well have been drawn in crayon, and its anyone's guess where to go lol. We went one place last year where to get to our site we had to pull back out on the road, turn left and enter from the other side of the river. There were also no signs on the way in to the office to point you in to where I could turn around, so I went the wrong way and had to back out. Thankfully there wasn't many people around at the time. Great place once we parked!

Sorry you got covid, but glad you are recovering. The chocolate place looked awesome. How many people can say they have been there. It’s huge. The campground looked pretty nice, but i do agree they should have somebody showing you to your spot. Oh septic! Glad you had a good time! The hanks are always good for some fun!!

13:57 Oh yes, the train. When we were there the first time our site backed to the tracks. That train seemed to run every half hour. And throughout the night! Never again. Last time we had a site more in the middle and it wasn't too bad. But most sites are not level. We bring a stool because we end up having to use it because the 5er is so high to get it level. Not complaining but some would probably run out of leveling blocks on some sites. 😂

My wife and I also have a cabin. Seeing the log walls behind you in the videos, makes me believe it is a Southland Log Home, Yes/No? Either way, it looks beautiful and I am sure you enjoy it. The log walls are the best insulated home we have ever owned.
