He doesn't "pack on" 28 pounds. He just doesn't weight cut to the point of his liver almost shutting down. Conor has always walked around at around 162-168, regardless of what weight class he was fighting at (hence why he didn't hit the 170 limit at weigh ins).

McGregor's straight left is fast but he can't throw combinations even close to as fast as Pacquiao and his power isn't as good either. Boxers hit a lot harder than MMA fighters proportionately (obviously) and Pacquiao in his prime hit very hard even walking around at 150-152.
Nate just has a good chin. It's not cause his neck is thicker.

There are reasons why he has a good chin, the neck might help explain atleast some of it.
You can't make the Manny comparison, Manny's gloves weigh at least twice as much. UFC gloves are 4 oz and the minimum for boxing gloves is 8 oz

Only problem is Conor never stepped into a game weighing at 145 that's for the weigh-ins only. He said he's about 165 naturally. The UFC has a 155 and a 170 division with nothing in between, Conor is healthier at 155 but he's really a boxing middle weight.

Conor didn't gain 23 pounds. That's just his walk around weight. He has to cut that weight to make 145lbs and on the day of the fight he rehydrates to 165ish. The media says this guy is some hero for "gaining" 20 pounds lol but in reality he isn't.

What I concluded from this is, the taller you are, the more neck muscles you have and less likely to get knocked out. So therefore, since Floyd is shorter and smaller than Conor. He's going to get knocked out.

Chin is a chin it doesn't matter about weight class. Nate Diaz was born with chin. Him. And his brother never been knocked out or submit. I think he they could take a punch from the heavyweights at this points

He normally walks around 170 probably a little less... Its just for the first Nate fight he had to go up because he was at 155 for the Dos Anjos fight so he had to eat as much as possible, as fast as possible... But normally he does cut from around 170

Yea but I'm talking about the second fight. I know he was coming up from 155lbs to fight Diaz the first time. The second fight was 5 months later and when he only weighed 168lbs. That's telling me he has to eat up to that weight. He said it himself in an interview a few days ago how much he had to eat to get fight at 170lbs. No doubt if not training being lazy he's probably around 170lbs. Being that he's training all the time for the most part I think he's walking around more around the low 160s. Cutting to 145 is still a struggle because he really doesn't have a lot of body fat.
SOB dos anjos pulled out 12 days before the fight. There is no way Conor already weighed 155lbs 12 days out. In multiple interviews, Conor has said he weighed 170 and his coach has even said he weighed 175. 12 days out, Conor probably weighed 165 lbs. So he probably only had to gain 4 pounds to step on the scale.
