Some Official Vh3 moderators have answered some of my questions! Please read for extra information! Some will not be credited by request and maybe some will if requested. Moderator: Regarding the removal of the cathedral map and the office map, we had issues with the creators of these maps. As such, they have left the community and requested their maps be removed. Currently, these maps have / are undergoing reworks including pizzeria. Secondly, regarding the removal of the PVE gamemodes. its actually rather simple LMAO the ai broke for the vampires due to a roblox update + the community did not like the PvE gamemode at all, many preferred the fast paced rounds rather than spending 5 mins shooting at ai. It was then decided to scrap the PvE modes altogether
I know this old but the reason the game had died down is because of the lack of updates and the ridiculous amount of bugs you can encounter. Also when the “released” the game to be “done” they didn’t even bother to fix some of the abilities being broken and necromancy doesn’t even work anymore and that ability was really fun. Also people don’t work as well together since everyone is sooo cocky now and no new players are in anymore. Something that really upset me was the fact half the maps disappeared and were being “updated”. Also the pianos don’t even work anymore which made the game feel more alive. Also this is my opinion (they force this new GUI that guides your screen to what you interact with (which can be helpful) but the old interact was more precise and now I have trouble interacting with certain doors if a light switch is in the way and it gets very inconvenient sometimes and because of this sometimes you can’t pick up objects by doors because of this sometimes. I really enjoyed this game a few years ago and it was my go to for my friends and I. But now it feels repetitive and nothing new is going on. It just feels like this update was rushed and bro said it was “completed” I wish there was at least a compensation of other maps or game modes (we only got one map and one game mode). I’m not trying to be mean but the only reason I’m so harsh is because of how much I loved this game and how alive it felt. Being able to interact with your environment and get a feel for your environment is really cool. Like the old radio in cathedral talking about the vampire abilities. Overall I just felt like Zac had enough of the game and just didn’t feel like doing anymore which kinda really made me sad because of the potential this game had and still somewhat has before it fully dies out. I speak from experience on playing this game (lvl 4000+)
(Btw im aware Zac is on break and aware that some content removed will return in future Updates. I just find it strange for them to be removed for only the Release.) Vampire Hunters 3 Population/Playerbase is dropping to very small numbers. 1k players to 64.. What exactly happened? If you guys got your own opinions and theories your welcome to comment down below. I have some insight on this: For starters: VH3's release out of beta, or as I affectionately like to call, VH4, was buggy. Zac essentially disappeared off the face of the Earth as soon as the game dropped. Firstly, joining friends was (and still is) bugged, as you no longer have the ability to directly join your friends and instead have to rely on the single-player menu to function correctly. The karma system was also broken on release, meaning you could get randomly kicked for doing nothing wrong. Not that the karma system was perfect in VH3, but it was geniunely broken on release. The moderation of VH3 is also troublesome. At first glance, the community looks fine, but if you have been around long enough, you see the holes. One of the larger issues, for example, started after the "Parkour" update was released. This was the update that added diving, which was used to get into places you otherwise could not reach. These places were not intended for people to be in, but instead of adding invisible walls, what did the staff do? They just banned whoever did this. For months. Now, moderation works on a 6-strike system. After 6 bans, you're banned permanently. Now, bans (and player reports) used to be public on the discord server, but at some point they were privated for.... some reason, I can't remember the reason why, but I don't think it was justified. Other games like Boxing League, for example, have public logs, so you know exactly who got banned for what so that you have more confidence in the moderation itself. Anyways, another problem with VH4: in VH3, as you may remember, the menu and the game were one server, so you could customize your character while in the game. Now you can't, you have to leave the game if you want to do that. I only assume this was done in order to reduce "AFK" players on the server, but it really wasn't a problem. People would go in, do what they need to do, and rejoin the fun after, but now it's much more tedious. Gadgets and abilities: In VH3, gadgets, vampire abilities, and vampire sub abilities were free, with the disclaimer that you would need to purchase these once the game released out of beta. Here is the problem: This system was already perfect. New players have a harder time adapting to a new game, obviously, so they are naturally inclined to shop around to try new things that best fit their playstyle. If a vampire ability that would be perfect for a player is locked behind a grind, and the player is struggling, well, they might quit before they can ever reach that ability. The exception to the free utilities was guns, which I think was fine because while certain guns were better than others, you can win with any gun given you are good at aiming, plus the starting gun, P45, is a solid gun in itself given you are able to aim it. You say that maybe VH3 fell off because of the endless grind. This is partially true. But in VH3, it wasn't a grind. There were no gadget levels, there were no vampire abilities locked behind the amount of experience you have playing that specific ability. People just played the game because it was a fun ARCADE game. When you play in an arcade, are you purely grinding for mediocre prizes? Or are you playing because you're actually having fun, and you come back again and again to a goofy, lighthearted game that can sometimes be terrifying, and enjoy with your friends. There is much more to the story that I would say is important context, but that is mostly community drama. Talking purely about the game itself, it didn't change for the better. The cake was recreated with a blander recipe, with prettier frosting.

Hey there, still playing, played today actually! There's about 3 full servers when I played, so 30 people. Problem, alot of them are sweats. But I don't understand how this game died? I get lack of content and updates didn't bring this game up to date with new Roblox. But the concept is so cool. Everything is so interactive.
Hey there Might as well put my input on some stuff as i know others like to say alot of misinformation and trying to sweep under the rug so here goes : For Clarification I am the Creator of 3 maps that are no longer being used the Church Map and Bunker (or should i say "reworked" more like stolen with the expectation of Club Nebula Removed enterally) All due to Zac and the mods for Failing to "Agree to Disagree" on some topics regarding Opinions regarding "transgender People and its Lifestyle" to facts and the Owner and those cowards mods think that Censorship was the Answer but i refused to be silenced after being "Forced" to leave the community by Zac (Puppet) and the ring leaders it was clear they were trying to get rid of any trace that i was involved but after putting so much effort over the course of years starting from VH3 Alpha to the every end i was not gonna like those clowns put me in a bad light (hence why i made my defense video 1 year and a half ago) so you can blame them for not being Adults and tried to be "heroes" only for it to Backfire and i will continue to say the truth no matter what they can't Stop me (that's only a good long story short for the drama which i don't wanna talk more in here then needed) as for the game itself : The game is Decent more or less however the updates and how Zac is lazy on certain accounts and on some subjects he is not much of a talkative person unless its a very big issue (hence the mods are the rulers in the discord) game is good but more or less flawed when it comes to balancing and game modes and set ups such as stats and ofc the GRIND system which makes it harder for new players when they get destroyed by vets who have better items or Equipment to abuse on new players who are stuck with basic powers and items so the game is not Easy for new players as it has a DEEP LEARNING CURVE for it and the very lack of updates does not even help to keep people engaged (i had to make alot of vh3 videos back then to entertain the community as i was the public face for VH3 at the time) The Community : the users in the discord are mostly run by Children for the most part with zac and the few clown mods who abuse power with an iron fist so not alot is being talked about (more so if its about Me or anything with the word "Hamhi" for it) so you won't Get much of the full "safe" space in the discord unless you don't follow a certain agenda so be careful overall what you hear in it as its not what most assume as its safe knowing they will attack and be mean to innocent players who defends or even ask question overall more or less End Point : In the end it is Zac fault for letting his "Agenda" more power and his followers to enact unfair rules and being more power to abuse I am never gonna go away and i been running alts ever since as i have been spreading the truth ever since i was outcasts as a "Evil Monster" to the community that i used to help build and they will NEVER get rid of me and i will make sure everyone will know the truth no matter the cost cuz in the end they made one of their biggest Supports into an enemy for life and it was their choice They get to LIVE with it Hope this clears up some issues and if you still need more info regarding vh3 game itself or the updates feel free to reach me out and always have an ear for both sides of the story and the amount of stuff people put into it good video overall btw Best regard Hamhi

I'm a long time VH gamer, I played the first, second and third, I really enjoyed VH3, as I like detailed games, I liked all the mechanics of items, food, doors, lights, etc., however, I stopped playing a while ago, because of toxicity, now the times I play are on private servers when my friends invite me, we do some roleplaying, make our own game modes and many more stuff, I would play on public servers if I could turn off the vampire and hunter roles like many other games allow me, I like being a survivor in any survivor vs monster type game, and I really enjoy using the crusifix as a grenade to save my teammates, but after a certain point the toxicity was too much for me to bear, and my friends agree with me.
Vh3 is the best game ever i played It very fun community very well it better crim community Vh3 is change me so much but why people are leaving vh3 i don't want vh3 be dead game :(
They need to delve more into the community and adventure aspects of the game, adding things like voice-chat, a map building system, custom servers, quests, and even more specific customization (dyeing accessories and maybe a set of tools to design accessories). Also we need frequent updates, they made the game too good to abandon it now 😢 (yes ik zac's on break but maybe make some more gamepasses and hire some devs with that money)
Because of 2 maps the game couldn't die that easily, there was more to it. And about gameplay part I guess you are right. Updates it's like one in a year gift,but they turned out to be not the best anyway.
I think the main issue with vh3 are the classic rounds, 9 Survivors vs 1 vampire. The vampire's objective in theory is to obtain the eternal night so i think it should win even if the vampire dies and succesfully completed his objective. Otherwise if the vampire can't obtain the eternal night any means (By running out of time, Dying or the survivord made it imposible to do.) Something that can vary a lot, such as decaying winter rng.
VH3's discord server is pretty much active but the game itself is boring and repetitive, making the game slowly die down if there's lack of updates same goes with multiple bugs that you can abuse. Level grinding takes years to grind if you get the controls. After like level 400, there's nothing really you can do except goofing around with friends or just get more levels to get skins and banners but for my opinion, it's a bit too much. Yes, the game is fun and all but the gameplay gets boring if you stayed for an hour or 3 hours straight or more. If Zac comes back from his break, maybe some banger updates will come to our favor.
motel, street, and pizzeria were reworked. suposly the cathedral map is on rework. office complex prob got 100% deleted (sad). Lockdown, Interception, and BR were also removed but probably on rework (lets beg for BR not to come back)
Honestly, I feel like it died down after it released. I quit since I was only there to play with all the different tools and abilities, but then I had to grind for them and well... it got boring. (i know this is 9 months later.)
The thing i mostly dislike about VH3 is having to grind for gadgets or weapons, if the developers did it to encourage players to spend robux i can understand, but if that wasn't the case then i think it's really unnecesary and makes experimentation limited for new players
The game is not p2w you can't like buy levels or gadgets using robux so your required to grind But I can understand why it be annoying to grind for higher tier levels/weapons
Guns are the only problem tbh. I've been playing on and off for a year and have easily reached enough to buy the level 450 sniper, but I'm still level 278
Reason they banned cathedral was because players were going on the grass walls so the devs raised it higher and bushman found a way to still get up with the vamp dieng trying to catch bushman on the now raised forbidden walls and devs were like nah he just gonna go on an alt and ruin players experiences so let’s ban it altogether!
I dont blame you. vh3 isnt really fun when you constantly play. it gets really repeitive and it is very hard to level up. There nothing to unlock after lvl 400 aswell so its tricky
As someone who used to be heavily involved in VH3's community, I wanna point out a couple of things. 1. XP gain was heavily reduced in release update as you earned way less score from dealing damage overall, this mostly affected vampire rounds which went from being able to give 2000 XP regularly to only giving 700 XP on good rounds. 2. Zac is working on a new Roblox game, the assets for the game first appeared on his profile in August of 2023 and it is a "Brickbattle" game (basically classic Roblox PvP). This is likely the reason that the release update was announced way ahead of time, which from my memory had never been done before and is really unusual behavior for a self-proclaimed "perfectionist". Zac probably lost interest in developing VH3 and wanted to push out the update quickly. I quit VH3 around a week after release because of the update being a disappointment, reasons being a lack of new content and mods constantly hyping it up to be the "greatest update of all time" and also the fact that the balance changes drained all the remaining fun I had in it, which was mostly just me goofing around as a vampire and annihilating anyone with the beast of a weapon that was pre-nerf AK. Also if you ever wondered why Chiroptera sucks, it's because of me, but to be honest what else was I expecting after proving the entire community that it's the complete opposite of "weakest ability at the moment"...
Repetitive gameplay and lack of updates just make the game lose a lot of players, not all games but the communitys make the game not fun anymore like toxic players and teamers
It's hard to say. I recommend slowly learn what's suits you best with equipment you got and try to progress to better equipment and firearms and vampire abilities

30 player servers with 3 vamps and 3 sheriff wouldn't hurt either

Reason they banned cathedral was because players were going on the grass walls so the devs raised it higher and bushman found a way to still get up with the vamp dieng trying to catch bushman on the now raised forbidden walls and devs were like nah he just gonna go on an alt and ruin players experiences so let’s ban it altogether!

I dont blame you. vh3 isnt really fun when you constantly play. it gets really repeitive and it is very hard to level up. There nothing to unlock after lvl 400 aswell so its tricky
As someone who used to be heavily involved in VH3's community, I wanna point out a couple of things.
1. XP gain was heavily reduced in release update as you earned way less score from dealing damage overall, this mostly affected vampire rounds which went from being able to give 2000 XP regularly to only giving 700 XP on good rounds.
2. Zac is working on a new Roblox game, the assets for the game first appeared on his profile in August of 2023 and it is a "Brickbattle" game (basically classic Roblox PvP). This is likely the reason that the release update was announced way ahead of time, which from my memory had never been done before and is really unusual behavior for a self-proclaimed "perfectionist". Zac probably lost interest in developing VH3 and wanted to push out the update quickly.
I quit VH3 around a week after release because of the update being a disappointment, reasons being a lack of new content and mods constantly hyping it up to be the "greatest update of all time" and also the fact that the balance changes drained all the remaining fun I had in it, which was mostly just me goofing around as a vampire and annihilating anyone with the beast of a weapon that was pre-nerf AK.
Also if you ever wondered why Chiroptera sucks, it's because of me, but to be honest what else was I expecting after proving the entire community that it's the complete opposite of "weakest ability at the moment"...
Repetitive gameplay and lack of updates just make the game lose a lot of players, not all games but the communitys make the game not fun anymore like toxic players and teamers

It's hard to say. I recommend slowly learn what's suits you best with equipment you got and try to progress to better equipment and firearms and vampire abilities

In my opinion, the game loses its fun after a while because you are doing the same thing over and over again.

please get a script on talking in the repetetiveness u yapped about the same thing for 10 minutes
