- Welcome to the latest episode of Every Platform! In today's video, I took the challenge over to the East Midlands. For this trip, the East Midlands Day Ranger ticket was used which covers a large area of the East Midlands, stretching all the way out to the likes of Lincoln, Peterborough and Crewe! The ticket is of fantastic value!
The day out itself was very fun and enjoyable with a lot of good trains to be seen and a lot of lovely stations which were visited. This was one of those days where it didn't necessarily focus on the county, but more the region, which opened up a lot of avenues for the trip. The weather held out well and some of the stations were simply beautiful, whilst some had some interesting surrounding features. Overall, a fantastic and memorable day.
