"I don't see any beans Daddy" "Right there in front of ya." "Ya have to look at the plant, not the horses" That is the most adorable thing I have heard in years! I just love it when I see parents interacting with their kids like that and those were the best times I remember with my kids when they were little. Great update. Shalom

Megan, country girl, you eating that peach fresh off the tree reminded me of all the times I ate fresh produce off the farm. From Peaches, Pears, Sweet Golden Bantam corn right off the stalk , tomatoes, and cracking a sweet watermelon in field as we loaded trucks for their roadside stands. Now that’s something City folks never get to experience. Love the Real Deal Country Life y’all are living, nothing like it.

What a bountiful harvest of fruit and veggies you all have been blessed with this growing season!!! Praise the Lord!🙏 I know raising a garden is hard work, back breaking work, and you sweat yourself to death when harvest time arrives. But how grateful you are when it is all stored up and you see what a tremendous blessing it is to have raised all that food for your family! And how wonderful it is to see you are raising the next generation of growers to continue the farming tradition! Maggie and Jacob have been taught to plant, gather, and preserve what is grown so that when they become adults they will be able to do all this with their own family! I so enjoy your alls channel. Thanks for letting us tag along with you in this journey, you are a great family!❤

That was awesome , watching you harvest more fruit and veggies and then canning some for a later date. Everyone involved with everything, planting , nurturing the crops, harvesting and preparing for the table. Not to mention the giving to family and neighbors. You folks are what God intended HIS children to be and live right. Stay safe and keep passing on the food and fun filled methods of growing and preparing them. Fred.

Yes we’ve had so much rain 🌧️ the last three days that we’ve had water 💦 in our basement and small swimming pools in our yard. A lot of flooding in Ontario. I can’t even walk around the yard without wearing boots. I just wish we could share our water 💦with you all. I love gardening but my back bothers me, I just can’t do what I used too at 80 1/2 but I still have a small garden. Megan and Andy the whole family are such hardworking people. Love ❤️ from Ontario Canada 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

I am with you all and the beans. My knees are shot and bending is impossible so I had to figure out a new way to garden. I did green beans in grow bags and put the grow bags up on old baby beds with the sides off of them. (my bed of beans...lol) i did all my onions, radishes, carrots, garlic in raised beds 17 inches high. my tomatoes and peppers are still in the ground in the garden. cucumbers I put in ground and trellised. we don't do a lot of cabbage so they are in grow bags, along with my cauliflower. All my herbs are now is raised beds or on my deck in pots. buckets, troughs. learning and doing the best i can I am not ready to stop gardening and preserving. I LOVE WATCCHING YOU ALL AND THE KIDS KEEP TEACHING

For those that say they can't afford to grow their food. You can purchase seeds ,plants, bushes or trees that produce food with EBT or Snap (foodstamps) if the store accepts it. Wal-Mart does accept it. Fruit trees and bushes are great to have, buy them once harvest for years.

Do yall have any clips of your son harvesting out of his garden yet? I really enjoyed seeing them both telling about their gardens. You can see how excited they are about it. I just wanted to let you both know I think yall are great parents, and it already shows big time in your kids. I know from being a parent, it's the greatest blessing on earth to have a child but I think it's nice to hear that the love and parenting you've done with your kids shines through your kids and you both are such hard working parents but still put your kids first and I admire yall for that so for what my 2 cents is worth I think yall are both fantastic parents 👍

I love fresh peaches. We got a hold of a basket of fresh peaches that were so sweet and juicy. I made some fries pies out of them and they were delicious. That was the best recipe for the filling I have ever used. The peaches in the pie were so fresh that they were like biting into a fresh peach with a crispy flaky pastry surrounding it. We never had any luck with growing peaches. A late frost would get the buds everytime.

I love watching y'all me and my husband are growing a little this year we both grew up with our families growing gardens and farming livestock we just tired of all the BS put in foods today that are making us sick can't go wrong providing for your family the way God intended it to be. Thanks Megan for all your hard work I've learned a lot from you.
