Evan, you will have better hay if you place your wrapped bales standing on an end and not resting on their side. There is more plastic on the ends so standing the bales on an end offers better protection months from now.

The posts u r tying your string to. Make sure they are plumb and use 2 strings for your guide. Then have the post/t-post touch bottom and top string. 👍

We now get our main posts in and run the first line of actual fencing as the "stringline". The wind does not affect is nearly as much as the string, if at all, and the bonus is, you already have your first line done! Hope you guys have a wonderful day and good luck with the pregnancies!

That post driver was a good purchase! Nice to see it works on the pipes also. If only you could get the time and money back from all that concrete. I bet the clay will hold just as well as concrete. Maybe useful on the corners when ya start pulling wire, but i reckon you know what i mean.
JudithB Its hot down here 99 and 109 heat index. I got everything watered early, the decided to put a tarp over the grass on the driveway and cook it!! It will take a few days to kill the grass and weeds, then move the tarp to another spot. I am placing landscape timbers along the driveway replacing the old ones. Today, I decided to drill the holes near the ends and put in 12" rebar to nail the timbers down. I used 3 bits to drill larger holes and got partly done. The largest bit kept hanging up. So decided to hammer the rebar in, well it went down 6"s. So got out the big sledge, and it got too hot for me to be out side!!! Maybe tomorrow!!!!! LOL!!
Gloving up is great but remember to protect your eyes too. If you can taste or smell those fumes it means the acid vapour is reaching your face and your eyes are dealing with the exposure too. The effect will accumulate over the work period. Good luck with the AI. Interesting choices with the genetics. The calves will be exciting to see.

Woo Hoo!! You're finally using OSPHO. You can use it on so many farm items from tractors to fences to trailers to vehicles to basically anything with steel that rusts. The black posts look nice.
Yeah, I know about that down wind taste factor, since working in the US Air Force as a Fuel Specialist for 21 years, I used to inhale a lot of JP-8 jet fuel vapors, which is toxic, and walk around with the taste in my mouth, and after work at home too. Seemed like just part of the job, until I retired and started having health issues, shortly after, and did some research online and found a lot of the health issues I was having are convolutedly linked to JP-8 exposure over a prolonged period of time. Not that the Air Force or Veterans Administration would ever admit that. I'd suggest using some kind of a mask/respirator, Evan, maybe look up inhalation exposure risks on the MSDS, since possibly something acid based inhaled could do respiratory damage, even with short term exposure. Be safe Sir!

If you take a pair of snips and cut a Coors Light can in half the bottom will fit down nice and tight over that 2 3/8" pipe.
