You asked about a SOD mod for Fallout. It is on Nexusmods and is called Commonwealth of Decay. This is from the description: Inspired by State-of-Decay NIGHTMARE! mode, the mission is to clear infestations from the Commonwealth workshops before being totally over-run by respawning ferals. The Commonwealth is an open world with all areas unlocked and no base game quests. All ~600 base game human race NPCs replaced with ferals. ~500 additional feral group spawn points. ~500 recruitable robot and human survivors. 6 new feral spawning systems. Everyone is mortal. Ferals can't run in daytime, one tap to the head kills them. Workshop noise and unsuppressed player shooting attracts ferals. Deadly 12 hour decay infection from feral contact. Resources are totally random with no respawn
I'm a disabled vet and yes I agree it's part of your job in the military to call out bad ideas and a good leader will listen to his "mens" concerns, but usually it's done in private not in front of everyone to show respect for that rank even if u don't respect the person.
You made short work of that black plague heart! With scentblock and distraction items the BPH are a piece of cake even if they aren't weak against melee. You only struggled against your first BPH since you got the elevated senses curveball at the same time and that it overlapped into the BPH territory. I have killed 15+ BPH so far and haven't lost a single survivor against them. But I take my gloves off against them and bring a stack of scentblock, a stack of stims, a stack of energy drinks, a stack of strong painkillers, a stack of plague cures, and then the rest of my slots I pack full of distraction items. So i come well equipped to take take of them. I have got BPH early at day 3 in new communities but luckily they were far away. So I just avoided the BPH and built myself up by looting more and more resources and growing my community stronger. Then maybe 10 days into the community I went after the BPH when I was in a much stronger position and had lots of resources. And against the BPH that drains your health I bring 3 stacks of strong painkillers compared to one for the other black plague hearts.
I think it would be cool if they implemented something like black plague samples being combined to make cures that minimize black heart neg effects. Like slowing the health drain etc
Zedrenaline made in the biochem station, keeps up your health and stamina for a long time. It's excellent for black hearts. It does cause some plague damage like scent block does. Great job. I really enjoy watching you struggle. It's not how I'm used to seeing you play. 😂
You managed to pull the tactical version of that sweet RT shotgun. SOOO much better than the base version. Scope and select fire make all the difference with that gun. AND it's sidearm. Very, very rare gun.
Hi hi , Answering a lil late to your inquiry bout Fallout mods in SOD2. There a few mods , such as a scrap yard , Cap exchange facility to implement another currency system paralleled to Influence.I would suggest you ask around the SOD 2 mod community discord for more info ^^

Would it be viable to use Zedrenaline for the Black Hearts which damage your health? They recover health like a weak painkiller but last like 5 minutes.

What I don't like is that they occur even though your storage is full to the rafters. Having the maximum amount of meds in your stockpile and then being asked to get not just one, but three additional rucksacks of meds just feels game-y and gimmicky. And for that reason, I only keep a small amount of resources in storage and put the rest in the trunks of parked cars, so I just need to transfer them to storage when the curveball drops. They should at least tweak it so that these curveballs occur only when low on the resource in question.
The name doesn’t determine how a word is pronounced since pronunciation of specific letter combinations are determined by where you come from. It really only applies to special things like accent marks and languages with unique sound combinations.

Least you didn't have the BPH spawn across the street from your base, I community wiped, lost all 8 survivors. I didn't stand a hope in hell.
So I learned today the strength of the curveball is really the radius of effect. If you were on normal the area of map covered would be much smaller.
