Its established in episode 4 that ordinary people cant see Okarun transformed form in that scene when Okarun running with Momo on his back. They just see Okarun normally.
Aira's reaction when she finds out she's been rubbing and groping Okarun's sack is going to be legendary. Can't wait for it Will never unheard Turbo Granny as Chibi Luffy for the rest of the show lol
This anime is bonkers and I love it. Aira is so dumb, it's beautiful. To be playing with another man's family jewel is crazy and she was rubbing it all over Momo chan's face too lol
6:12 Kouki Koyasu The son of Takehito Koyasu, one of Zach's favorite voice actors, also plays a supporting role in "Dandadan". * Takehito Koyasu is famous for his role as DIO in "JOJO". Unfortunately, I couldn't distinguish him, so I can't be sure, but I think he is the most prominent male student in the Anime, since he is said to be playing the role of "School Boy A". With his father being a great voice actor, it is very possible that he will rise to the occasion. 14:26 A Woman in a Red Dress The English subtitle is A woman in a red dress, but the Japanese urban legend that served as the motif is probably "A woman in a red one-piece". As far as I know, two urban legends exist. One is that there are many stories of people who saw a woman in a red dress just before they died. A woman in a red one-piece with long, expressionless hair appears to a person lying on a hospital bed and keeps looking at them, and the person who experienced this dies a few months later. The other, less familiar to those who do not live in the region because it is location-specific, is a story about a woman in a red dress at a fountain in the Umeda neighborhood of Ōsaka. This was mainly before cell phones were widely used, and meeting places were usually in prominent locations, and that fountain was a famous meeting spot. Rumors then spread that a petite woman, around 30 years old, with long hair and a red one-piece dress, was hanging around the fountain. One person noticed that the woman was staring at him, and suddenly his body stopped moving. The woman then approaches at great speed, shaking her hair and laughing hysterically, but the people around her do not notice this. Finally, she looks into our faces. The victim is rescued by a stranger, who tells her to stay away from the fountain because if he sees her again, he will die. There are several patterns, including the theory that the woman was a prostitute who went crazy after being cheated by a man and is now wandering around, and the theory that she committed suicide as a result, becoming a ghost and haunting those who can see her. It was commonly agreed that if you see a woman in a red dress in a fountain in Umeda, you should stay away from her. * By the way, the fountain no longer exists because it has been removed. 20:26 Acrobatic Silky In Japan, the name "Acrobatic Sarasara" or "AcSara" for short is better known. It was named after a woman with silky hair who performs acrobatic movements. It is one of the recent urban legends that started to be rumored around 2008. * As a comparison, Turbo Granny is an urban legend from around 1980-1990. Although its name is strange, it is considered to be quite dangerous if encountered, and it spread quickly through posts on Internet bulletin boards. She is described as a 6'6" or taller female figure with red clothes and long silky hair, a self-inflicted cut on her left arm, no eyeballs, hollow eyes, an unusually large mouth and teeth, and bare feet. It is often seen in high places, leaping from rooftops and buildings, and such active movements have given it the name "acrobatic". Originally, sightings were limited to the northern part of Japan, such as the Tohoku region, but recently they have been seen all over the country. Although they are said to be dangerous, there have not been many direct cases of damage, and many people say they were surprised to see them jumping down from high places. In a slightly different pattern, some people say that they saw a suicide by jumping off a building, but there was no body anywhere and they thought it was strange, and from that day on, they began to see Acrobatic Silky jumping off every day, getting closer and closer and more and more terrified. The only way to deal with them is to avoid eye contact. "Dandadan" mixes A woman in a red one-piece and Acrobatic Silky as one and the same being, and the obsession with being called mother may have other elements mixed in, but the original is an unknown being with long, silky hair bouncing around high up in the air. Incidentally, Acrobatic Silky is voiced by Kikuko Inoue, who started her career as a voice actress in 1988, while Turbo Granny is voiced by Mayumi Tanaka, who started her career as a voice actress in 1978. From Mayumi Tanaka's perspective, Kikuko Inoue may still be treated as a rookie, lmao.
As for the "cute mascot character", I have to quote Mel Brooks. "Moichandizing where the real money from the movie is made, Spaceballs the lunchbox, Spaceballs the breakfast cereal, Spaceballs the FLAMETHROWER, and last but not least Spaceballs the doll."
1) Even in this show, Mayumi Tanaka will still say the word "Balls" and "One Piece" 2) A high-school student, wearing glasses, has wavy black hair and carries a talking cat in his bag... Okarun is Joker/ Persona5 MC 3) "Okarun's balls can attract evil spirits"... It's like Sukuna's fingers in a way. Now I imagine if the 1st episode of JJK happen in this place, then Itadori would be swallowing Okarun's balls.
The whole "Beckoning Cat" line from Granny is a reference to the doll she's inhabiting. I'm sure you've seen that white cat with it's paw up before; it's ubiquitous in Japanese culture. The "maneki neko" is a symbol of good luck and bringer of fortune. I haven't read the manga so I'm just guessing- because we're learning that spiritual power is real, maybe any time Granny is around in that form the team gets a giant +luck boost to their party stats! Or maybe she just said that as a snappy 1-liner because she knew Momo was about to nuke her with the lighter.
Those twists and turns in the story, I never know how it’ll go. No idea why Acrobatic Silky swallowed them, even Aira. I thought it was going to be a hard battle, but Silky kinda curbstomped them. Okarun was rather easily beaten, Momo had her hands tied though, so she couldn't fight at full strength. I love the fact that only now Okarun realizes that Momo's attractive. He was so focused on the fact that he's found his first friend, it's adorable.
Hear me out. A girl who awakens her spiritual powers by being in contact with a marble and is then targeted by a ghost monster, plus a talking plush running around school that might or might not actually help the male and female MCs 😂
Miko and kei are the biggest shippers of okarun and momo. They truly are the best friends
Love them! Good friends!

What's your favorite anime?
'AkuSara' is the urban legend Acrobatic Silky is based on!
Thank you I need to look that up

Well, Aira has Uraraka's seiyuu and Boa Hancock's personality.
what a combo LOL

The greatest family heirloom, Okarun's balls!!!
