What a great way to create a montage, I never thought of using Substance Painter in that way. This will come in handy for crazy cool promo shots! I wonder if that cork board is going to make an appearance in an upcoming product of yours? Thanks for sharing John! 🙏
Hi Another Bod. It's a tricky decision but I think on balance you can use such AI tools without deliberately violating someone's art specifically. Don't mention specific artists in your prompt, or obvious IP's of course if you are going to make something for commercial use. I think however I'd be putting myself at a serious disadvantage by not using AI tools to enhance my texturing. I can't afford to pay anyone to make what I need, and restrictive licensing on assets is a pain. I will say traditional artists have a big advantage over AI currently, there is some artwork current AIs just can't produce, even mildly adult/edgy content is a no go. AI may look super creative, but it doesn't have a creative bone it it's body, whereas real artists live and breathe it.
@@3dmegaverseJohn Thanks, regarding the adult/edgy work I agree it's limited on midjourney but on stable diffusion local install via automatic 1111 combined with models downloded from civitai you can generate very nsfw content - worth checking out.
@@pondeify I see, I had delved into SD but not pushed it. That's something I did not know. Whatever floats your boat I suppose :) How naive of me to think that AI Art would be the first new technology that wasn't being used for Pron.

Hey Jay, thanks for the comment man. I wasn't planning on using it, but it's a nice pattern huh?
NICE! Thanks!
As ever you are welcome :)
Super!
Kind of you to say Death-Flower :)
nice video thank you (btw you misspelled substance in the title)
Thank you :) and for the spelling tip, I'm useless at that
thanks for not being negative about AI art - i think it's really important for us all to use these tools to enhance our productivity.
