- Back on a sport bike after 5 years. Triumph Daytona doesn't disappoint!
These little weapons can be made A2 compliant in the showroom which I find quite appealing for the younger rider and sub £10K!!!
Just bought one on Saturday there, same colour as the video as imo it's the nicest by a long shot of the three options.
I originally went in for a tiger 660 because I didn't think my bad hips could handle a sports bike (I'm only 33😅😅) but tiger was unavailable and dealer couldn't order them so they hinted that it might be being replaced with a newer model along with the tiger 850 and have to say the Daytona is very very comfortable and no strain on my hips whatsoever ever as it's classed as a mid sports bike so it's less of an aggressive riding position.
Was told it's a great bike to start on. Take delivery next weekend and can't wait to get my direct access course completed to do a ride or two up the Highlands before the winter with some friends.
It’s easy to ride and throw around for sure!
I enjoyed it
I'd love to get one, I'm 24 with a full A and 1 year NCB.
I live in London however, and insurance won't quote me on one.
2.1k for a 125cc, 2.4k for a 390 Duke, 6k for a Trident.
Impossible for the Daytona, I can only hope the government or manufacturers step in to try lowering the cost.
Cheaper for me to insure a sports car with 0 NCB than a 125...
@@AsyncVoid it’s London. Bike theft is a major problem everywhere, but London is off the scale for it.
@@MakaJerycho True. However its cheaper for me to insure Third Party + Fire + Theft than Third Party alone. Because people who choose third party are more likely to be in a collision. The 6k for a Trident would be 8k for Third Party alone. They wouldn't quote me for the Daytona even if it was garaged, had a tracker and lived further out. I spoke to insurance on the phone, they said that I've only had my license a couple months, and I've got 1 NCB. Not sure what they meant by that, perhaps they don't accept the NCB when I was on a CBT.
Who knew , from a mild manord man from Devon, to now you tube world superstar, with triumph giving him bikes to ride and loan. Simply amazing.
Cornwall 🤣🤣🤣
Bleeding Devon 🤣🤣🤣
@@MakaJerycho same thing, chewing on a piece of straw, wearing wellie boots all day
@@paulsilson2148 the Cornish would beg to differ

What can you say about the suspension? Been reading alot saying the front susnsion is too soft.
Honestly I couldn’t tell if it was too soft.
I think it handled really well especially as it’s not exactly an expensive motorbike.
Whatever happened to your Thundercat?
Got bored of going fast!!!
