This is a story sent in by Christian. Xcel, a Colorado electric company, shut 22,000 customers out of their smart thermostats as temperatures rose into the 90's. According to Xcel, there was an energy emergency and customers who voluntarily chose to participate in their program were affected. Xcel paid the participants $125.00 to enter the program and $25.00 per year thereafter. Sounds like a bad deal to me if they can control something in my house. What do you think?

Colorado used to be a great middle of the road State.
After 64 years here, I’m out of here. The thermostat thing is only a symptom.
Heading to Florida, I won’t continue to be taxed by a far left government that doesn’t represent my values.
