I totally agree with will when it comes to passive pickups. I am a big fan of Seymours. It seems pretty rare to find any of the great players using active pickups. Zakk does and Bucket (sometimes)...but Eddie, Vai, Satriani, Yngwie, Lynch, Thal, Friedman, Nuno. You name them. This is a sick guitar. Fixed bridge, LP type body. It is perfect. I think ESP is one of the few top quality makers today.
@jamesstitt2 not every ESP Les paul model are cheaper than gibsons their are a lot copies who are more expensive than gibsons because ESP makes custom guitars for everyone who wants it
The LTD EC100 series see through black guitar looks the same they run for under $300 Canadian or American + they are basically the same quality. and they have 24 frets.
That's your opinion I love the brutal sound which come out of EMG's. maybe because of that I prefer more brutal stuff as you would ike (brutal death metal to grind/crustcore). But yeah seymour duncans are lovely but mostly for thrash style of metal. But yeah man that's my opinion.

Man i played Willie's signature model Eclise of a frind of mine over a lil garage gig and man it was fuckin awsome. Much better feel than a Gibson i think the neck was small or it was more smooth or what the fuck it feels great, mind u abt the sound JB & 59 u talkin abt so no point even in telling how those babies brings that raw thrash sound and sustain. A defenite good buy
its so lame all the people talkin about they got an awsome guitat for their first one my first was an ibanez i found in a pawn shop with one pickup gone and one of the tuners fell out of the headstock i replaced all that and it plays great of course now i have a better guitar but ive had to work for every guitar i own so i appreciate it more all these people that get a awsome jackson or a washburn or something like that and then their mommy gets some lessons for them all yall are posers

No those guitars arent light i have the Ltd WA 600 model they weight about 6-8 kilos classical les paul feel,but not a classical les paul sound Its a classic look but really heavy metal tone guitar
its technically not a les paul. its considered the Eclipse in the ESP world. in the gibson world its les paul, in the ESP world its an eclipse. get it right
o yeah having nice stuff doesnt make you a poser its just a lot of these people are the type to show it off to folks like me and wahts funnier the working class kids like me can play better than all these goody goody rich kids are playing has more feel and soul and plus we dont play on like les pauls and strats worth 1000 bucks like all these rich kids we play on jacksons and crap like that and shred way harder

its not a personal opinion, lTD ranges from low end to mid range, on the same level as some lower bracket gibson if not better

No eclipses are 2750 USD I think, EC1000's are about 1200 USD...

I will admit that fender is mildly overrated but they are by no means the most overrated. The most overrated has to be either Gibson or Ibanez.
Fender isnt overrated they make good quality guitars that can play just about anything, but Gibson is definately an overrated guitar company.
