legend says he is still driving
Love it when this guy gets all excited and worked up. Great review 😀
My step-father has a 2011 V8 vantage coupe, he let me took it for a day last month for my police academy graduation.... I was just like you, smiling for the entire day. It really is an amazing car. Really special.
The most enthusiastic car review ever👍
AWESOME!! Your reviews are getting better and better with each one Matt. I'm so happy that you were able to drive one of your dream cars and that it lived up to all your expectations. Thanks again for linking to my photos from the photoshoot with this beautiful British beast.
I just bought mine Vantage Roadster V8, I tried the 458, F430 spider, M3 V8, and I have a 997 cabrio too but the Aston is really the best emotional car that I ever driven! :)))
The steering wheel feeling is incredible, It looks like to drive a go kart! So perfect! When you drive the car you really don't feel that it is 1650 kg! Simply incredible car
PS: I drive very often at the race circuit (Monza, Varano de Melegari, Spa and Nurburgring) plus the Dolomiti mountains, it's really a fantastic car :)))
Nice to see that you enjoyed so much ;)
I have to say though, that center stack is quite boring. That exhaust note would make any sort of issue go away though. Not sure why other manufactures don't do that to their sports cars and performance cars. They muffle the shit out of them, only to bring performance down a bit. Like you said though, Jaguar and Aston Martin have that in the bag.
The centre stack would not been boring had the amazing stick shift been there instead of that stupid tray to keep your loose change in.
It's funny that they make a tray for loose change when the person buying it rarely uses cash.
Im just saying, every thing in the center there looked like it came out of a Chrysler lol. Im sure the materials used are of really high quality, but the overall design is very bland. My 2011 Hyundai has a more engaging console than that. I guess all the money went towards that super sexy gauge cluster.
MrGovenator1 This car came out in 2005 so the interior is bound to look a bit dated compared to a modern car. They did a refresh in 2009 and that interior looks much more modern. Even with the dated controls it still feels like such a special place to be, and when you put your foot down you don't care what the centre console looks like.
Pat Gaunt Yeah its understandable. I wouldn't keep that from me buying one either if it was my money.
Damn Matt is steppin' up, keep this up bro, BTW hope you get that mustang!
Title would be: guy orgasms driving an Aston Martin.
It makes me so happy on how excited you got when driving this! You get excited but not this excited it makes me happy great review keep it up!
If you don't grin while watching this you need to leave.
You talk too much for not saying much about this wonderful car
i am leaving.
I am mostly an Import guy but the sound of a V8 is much more menacing than a 4 cylinder. Like this or a M3 E92. Great review also!
Anyone ever be like what is that guy doing? Driving an Aston and talking to himself and keep smiling. LOL
Like the person in the background at the beginning!! Lol!
Whats the problem ???
+A.TWorldChannel "crazy rich people"
Used Vantage on EBay: $50,000, aftermarket rims: $4,000, the expression on your face when you accelerate: PRICELESS
Those are $10K rims Forgiato GTR's
***** this or brand new corvette
$55,400 is the price tag for 2016 corvette
yea me 2 but both are panti droppers
I would take the aston martin.
I see corvettes everyday.
WOAH MATT STEPPING UP YOUR GAME!!!! Would not be surprised to see a 911 review in the near future!
he already reviewed one
andylui3333 Lol .. Too funny
the emotions game is too strong
bruh you needa chillll with that weird shit
Hey man I love your reviews! I watch every single one of them. I like how you express your joy when driving a car you really like, like this Aston Martin. it makes me feel great by simply watching your video too. Keep up the good work!
Always love coming back to your old videos with the exhaust reactions 😂 man that car would be glorious with a manual swap!
I agree, I'd definitely go for the manual version over this old auto. Thanks for watching Steven!
"'m going to drive this car for a little while longer, i'll be back with more impression..."
Seriously expecting the next clip to be pitch black and at midnight HAH
I lol'd hard at what you said...I have wondered exactly the same thing lol. It all happens in broad day light lmao...
He only drives the car for probably 100 miles ... so what can you expect?
I think he does great reviews, he really enjoys cars, not like some stupid journalists that are talking bullshit all the time...
Turdeanu Stefan Well no one said his videos were terrible, otherwise we wouldn't be here. But I'm a long time subscriber and this man is just amazing at what he does and I wish him all the success. We just found it funny, the whole driving thing he does.
he probably drove through the night
one of these was infront of me a couple of weeks back and the guy floored it and i honestly couldnt believe how good it sounded! amazing car...god knows what the v12 is like.
I've never seen you look so happy in a car before!! It made me smile and laugh. I love when I see people appreciate cars as much as I do. You need this car subaruwrxfan
My father just got a 2008 Roadster. That engine is indeed one of the MOST beautiful things I've ever heard.
It’s impossible to watch this review and not be smiling with you all the way through! 😊 totally uplifting😊
subaruwrxfan I've been following your videos for a while. This is my first comment I believe. I have always had a crave for Aston's. I love how absolutely honest your emotions are. Keep it up!
The new Jeremy Clarkson, your reviews are getting better and better, your reviews are better then tons of the top driving review shows on the tube, you make me feel like im experiencing the drive with you, Bravo to you and Aston Martin
Your car reviews are the highlight of my week! Glad you had a lot of fun in the Vantage!
The only reason I watch your videos is pretty much how awesome you react how fast the car can be.
Sweet that you got to review an Aston Martin Matt...looked like you REALLY enjoyed doing this review! Whenever the rare chance happens that I see one in traffic I always make sure to keep the windows down to hopefully hear that lovely sound. Loved the sound of the DBR-9's I've heard at races too...simply beautiful sound and one of the most beautiful race cars ever made.
I really love your enthousiasm, very communicative ! It's like I was in the car too ! I really love Aston Martin. Thanks for the ride, my friend !
Well Done!! Your reviews really get to the essence of the car. That's what other reviewers sometimes miss.
This car had always been a dream for me with that high revving V8.
Finally figure out what the sound is on your latest intro bit! Awesome. I've only ever seen one of these one real life and I will say, this one looks so much better than the one I saw. Black is definitely the right color!
This is the happiest I’ve ever seen him lmaooo I want one now
That random person in the background...
I was thinking the same thing. And she happen to be there when he reved the shit out of it. She probably pooped her pants a bit.
I'm waiting for the day you finally review a C63 AMG but honestly love your videos. Keep up the great work !!
_Wow, that really does sound incredible!_
You just made my day! I dream about driving an aston martin and i could picture myself in there smiling every time i rev! Nicely done bro!
How have you got on making your dream come true 9 years on? Did you achieve your dream? Please tell us!
@oscoe wow I forgot about that comment. well now I can buy the Aston! And I am still thinking about it. But I prefer to keep investing and playing it safe, so when I ll buy it I will just enjoy it and not worry about any maintenance costs :)
@@ΠετροςΡουσσος-ε5ξ good luck in your choices…but remember…life is short, and you only get one ride!!!
If you ever meet someone who loves you like this guy loves that Aston you are a very lucky person.
or obsessed. like criminally
Best review, EVER! What i love is that you are always so excited! So many reviwers are like yeah a Lambo cool. And i just LOVE the v8 Vantage! V8 and a cab. It cant get any better! Great review as always Matt! I hope i one day will also drive one! :)
Best review I've seen so far.
There has been a Bronze Audi R8 Roadster floating around Pittsburgh. Great review. Love your reactions Matt.
Anyone who buys this car to race with has the wrong intentions. Its not a car you buy for numbers or crazy tech and specs. You purchase an Aston for the driving experience. Its a beautiful car full of class but its not over the top like a lambo. Thats what tops this car off!
Garrett Craig definitely agree w/ u!! u want an aston, not because u need one, but because u want one
Awesome car! I think this is the most excitement I've seen from you. Nice video man, keep it up!😄👏👍
It's been awhile since I've seen you smile and laughed like that, Matt :) Good to see you again ;)
Ok Matt we all know you like V8 engine notes! BEAUTIFUL roadster it's like a masterpiece and that sound ooh GOOOOD!!!
I still remember the first time i drove an Aston Martin, it was one of the most wonderful experiences i ever had.
7:36 is exactly why i'm subbed to you lol
Wow. You wouldn't normally see this, host actually loves this car. When he talks about it, it's written on his face. :) Usually they say "brilliant, beautiful, nice" but nothing like this on the face. Great review. Great car. Real emotions are nice to see)
I bet Matt is having the time of his life! Driving that (scratched, but beautiful) Aston Martin. Sunny outside with the top down in a great neighborhood, beautiful sounding V8.... Who ever is driving around probably thinks he's talking to himself tho.
if I had a dollar for everytime you say "very nice" I would be able to afford this car :PPP
+Jet IceBane or "you know" "of course"
also and then
and nice 😂😂😂😂
10:02 Lotus Evora, another British car blasting by. :D
how in the nine heavens did you catch that>? lol good shit! :D
Henry Perez lol, you funny dude,,,i can picture someone saying that
Tatonia Johnson here's another one:
"....what in tarnations??" lol :)
lol XD good sh*t
Good eye
are you people kidding me? you all complain when some guy with tons of cash buys a car like this then never drives it, and now complain when someone actually uses theirs on a daily basis and drives it all the time? it's black. it's going to show some kind of swirls no matter how hard you try or how little you drive it. the rims are take or leave it and so are the lights. but they paid for the car and still are, they can do whatever they want. i'm just glad to see a car like this actually not being used as a garage ornament. hell if i owned a friggin mclaren P1 i'd drive it around all the time and get it nice and loaded with dead bugs on roadtrips. what good is such a beautiful car when you can't enjoy it for the sake of god forbid it gets some small swirls or mileage.
7:32 Maaaaaaaaan! That sounded so beautiful!!!!
I lovee Aston Martins; they look like perfection, from front to back. :D Cool that you got to review one. This V8 Vantage Roadster looks beautiful with the black on black. Was a nice choice of wheels for an Aston. My favorite Aston is the V12 Vantage tho, that thing is hands down one of the sexiest sounding cars ever built. ;) Anyway, very nice review! Great camera work and such.
Aston Martin and Maserati...the best sounding cars out of the factory ... you don`t need aftermarket on their cars... just awesome sound.. Great review :)
We whait a review of your 2015 Mustang GT :D
I love when Matt smashes the throttle because every time he laughs and screen like someone won’t stop tickling him
I've always had my eyes set on the v12 vantage/vanquish/DB9. But this V8 sounds just as good its incredible.
It sounds absolutely amazing
Lovely review. Nice work. Agree with others. Aston Martins should never be molested with smoked out tail lights and pimpin rims.IMO, Goes against the very essence of what the cars are. Understated elegance and cool.
Love the whole review especially the beginning shots and music
I love your enthusiasm :-)
subaruwrxfan, haha i see you pretty much on every car video I look at on youtube (so we have similar tastes? Good man! ha) and I had no idea you review cars as well! Good stuff, excellent review!
I subscribed :)
-HP
you do sit low in the driver's seat, but it is, after all, adjustable. but i still wanted more height so i bought some square stock pipe, cut four pieces to size, and used them as spacers for the seat rails. a DIY job that was not too difficult. that raised me up about an inch. completely invisible.
the most noticeable thing about driving this car on a regular basis is how much of a physical experience it is. the steering, clutch, brakes, even the ride demands an effort. i like that. i imagine many would not.
Beautiful car and insane sound!!!
This car sounds fantastic!
Hilarious review, that Aston sounds amazing
True passion for cars! Love it!
That was awesome. Your review was great and makes me want to run out and get a Vantage
why Run?
Now this is a review! Great job man.
Your reviews are awesome Matt!
This guy makes me want an Aston Martin Haha. Was my original dream car but then I saw the Maserati GT and wanted one because of that burbly V8 but damn! Great Video!. Finally can afford one of these so I hope I get the same excitement as you did man! Keep it up.
literally got goose bumps when you accelerated
bigbbadnoobian lol, great exhause note
"Drive an aston martin" added to my bucket list! Haha! Sweet video
Oh man. Great video, SubaruWRXFan. You earned a like from me!
Within 14 minutes you turned me from completely disinterested to absolutely in love with that car.
I... I think I need a V8 in my life :|
That sound is pretty epic. That kind of sound can only really be produced by a nice big V8.
if you put it at .5 speed his voice is hilarious
Garrett Orr lmfaoooo
😂😂😂
i still a want a 370z review from u!!
You should try to get your hands on a 14' Camaro SS 1LE. It has the 6.2L V8 and with the 1LE it has enhanced cornering. I'm interested in one currently and would love to see you review a brand new car like that.
U r priceless to watch! You make my day. Great Vid and channel!
Stock exhaust? Great review btw! Keep up the good work.
THE LADY IN THE BACK WHEN YOU WERE REVVING IT!!! LMFAO!!!
the roar of that Aston martin was something i've never herd before
''who cars about anything all your problems go away''XD you yes you! you made my day and you do everytime you review a great car! one thing i wanna say,i hope you get (i'm really saying that from the bottom of my heart)your dream car and just tell your subscribers we will help you out. btw i live in Vermont n i have an M5 E39 can i lend it for you one i can and you review it? you deserve everything.
Sweet review, man! I wish I could experience a drive like that... Someday I will. Someday...
unlimited bumper to bumper warranty good one.i follow that guy too
Keep up the Great work Matt!!!!!
nice car, cool review =)
Used to hate his first reactions to putting his foot down, but now i relise its why I watch them all
That sound. The delay in the gear shifts just kind of adds to it :P
Love the enthusiasm in your laughs. The aston's growl is way better than a mustang's huh?
Matt Maran, how do you compare this to the F-Type v6? Which would you take and why? My current dilemma.
I love this guy and the car!
Matt, this is probably a stupid question but i'm still a beginner with manual transmissions. How do you downshift? Because when i do it the car scratches really bad and makes you fly forward. 06 sti btw
you need to rev up the motor when downshifting since the engine has to rev higher to go the same speed in a lower gear, just like riding bike when you downshift.
IN SIMPLE TERMS: The same as upshifting. The only thing with downshifting, is you have to tap the gas pedal BEFORE letting the clutch out.
IN COMPLEX TERMS: The same as upshifting. The only thing with downshifting, is that you have to match the engine revs for the lower gear by using the gas pedal BEFORE letting the clutch out. Give the car gas to match the RPM's before letting the clutch out.
Each gear has it's optimal speed, like 1st gear can go from 0 - 30 mile but u probably don't wanna put ur car in first gear when u are going 25 or above. You just need to drive more then u will know what gear & wut rpm u should be in at different speed to make it sing.
Rev match. For example when u up shift u have to get your revs up right? Or the car feels sluggish. When u down shift press the gas pedal to get your revs to match the lower gear. So in other words get them to were u think the lower gear will keep the engine rpm at the speed you are traveling. So clutch(while holding clutch down) hit gas to get the rpms desired. Then shift and let go of the clutch as u get back on the gas.
you are a beginner and you drive sti...... be careful with that thing
Love ur vids so much, one recommendation I would like would be a pov camera and can u do a review on a 2011 mustang v6 or a 2005 Mazda rx8. Thanks
awesome vid, almost made me feel like i was there.
From the uk
MY mates dad has v8 vantage coupe been round nurburgring in it got a very old video of it reving up. I still think that the exhaust note is still one of the best u can get
Also great review although u said nice ALOT
Light on the " What's up everybody" arms today!? Got to shake'em harder. Awesome.
love this video my next car for sure
This is very well filmed!
